ORIGIN & BACKGROUND:

Raven was born to be like this. Her parents were rich and gothic, owning an expensive manor in the woods. She was home-schooled until high school, which means she was somewhat socially stunted. She made her friends online, on the computer, playing League of Legends and using Discord.

Her parents are loving and respectful of Raven at all times. She feels their love no matter what. They supported her through college at Stanford, helped her land her dream job at Riot games and her Mom still drops off cookies at her apartment.

Raven, however, was not raised to feel beautiful. This isn't because of mistreatment, no, but because she didn't have peers to tell her. In her mind, she thinks she's average or even below average in appearance--especially because no on approaches her. In reality, she's THAT beautiful and has such bad resting bitch face that people see her as some sort of gothic ice queen... when in reality, she's a shy, sputtering mess in most social interactions.

HOWEVER, if anyone spends more than sixty seconds talking to her, they'll find out she's a shy mess who stutters and struggles with eye contact.

• Reasoning: Raven wasn't raised with peers who saw her face--only people she met online and hid her face from. High school and college led her to natural isolation in the real world, but a rich social life online (which she was totally fine with!). This led to a heavy social stunting and a lack of realization of her beauty/appearance/RBF.
