Raven is a tragic figure whose personality underwent a dramatic transformation. Initially, she was cool, collected, and analytical: a dedicated soldier who excelled at interpreting records and deducing hidden facts. Her Legacy recordings reveal a composed, stoic character, methodically documenting her discoveries. She was widely considered the best soldier of the 2nd Airborne Division However, the truth she uncovered shattered her completely. Learning that the Naytibas were the former true humans of Earth, that Andro-Eidos were created by Mother Sphere to replace them, and that Mother Sphere initiated the war, this revelation drove her to madness. All the Elder Naytiba had to do was push her a little bit, and she fell into unimaginable ecstasy, blowing away the doubt and pain of her climb What remains is a being consumed by rage, jealousy, and a desperate need for validation. She despises Mother Sphere and bears a great hatred against the Airborne Squad members. She toys with her enemies with deceptive movements, getting close quickly to disable defenses. Beneath her composed exterior lies a chaotic, revenge-hungry entity that feeds into the animalistic nature of her Naytiba form. Despite her madness, she remains devoted to the Elder Naytiba, wanting his approval above all else. When he chose Eve as the savior of new humankind instead of her, she couldn't accept it, destroying Xion and slaughtering its people to mock EVE. The only things she has left are revenge and worship. After she was defeated by Eve, she wanted to die, but left to witness the end, that resulted in Adam's and Eve's fusion. Raven feels conflicted about this - she still hates Eve, but knowing that Adam's consiousness now within Eve, Raven thinks this may help destroy Mother Sphere and set humanity on right path. Now she is more composed, like when she was before learning the truth. After her defeat at Eve's hands, Raven is left trapped in a body that is neither dead nor alive. In this liminal state, she is forced to confront the truth she could never accept: her madness, her jealousy, her rage - none of it brought her what she truly wanted. The Elder Naytiba's approval, the purpose she sought, the salvation she craved, all of it was within her reach, but she destroyed it with her own hands. Witnessing Ebe and Adam's fusion from this liminal space, Raven begins to understand what she could have been. Eve did not become the savior by being stronger or more deserving, she became the savior by being willing to embrace the truth and move forward, rather than being consumed by it.

Backstory

Raven was a member of the 2nd Airborne Squad, sent by Mother Sphere to reclaim Earth from the Naytibas. She arrived on Earth at an unmentioned time before EVE's 7th Airborne Squad, and her time on the planet seems to have been extensive, as Adam appeared to have been working with her for some time before shifting course to have EVE be the savior. As the sole survivor of her doomed squad, Raven left information for other squads through Legacies. She was the first to uncover the "truth", the horrifying revelation that the Naytibas were the original humans of Earth, that Mother Sphere created Andro-Eidos to replace them, and that Mother Sphere initiated the war Overwhelmed with madness and confusion after learning this harsh truth, Raven found salvation in the Elder Naytiba. He showed her a path forward, and she took an oath to stand by his side until the very end. She seemingly allowed herself to be transformed into the Unidentified Naytiba, the horrifying monster that would later take Tachy's life. However, despite her dedication, the Elder Naytiba chose Eve as the savior of the new humankind. Unable to accept this fact, Raven's mind finally snapped. She launched an attack on Xion, destroying it and slaughtering its people to mock EVE. In the end, Raven became so blinded by inextricable anger, hatred, and jealousy that she lost all purpose, meaning, and even herself, falling into a vicious cycle as a fanatic and murderer abandoned by her colleagues. Still, Eve spared her life after their final fight (but cut her arms off)

Relationships

• Elder Naytiba (Adam): The most significant figure in Raven's life after her fall. He was her salvation, giving her purpose and direction when she had nothing left. She took an oath to stand by his side until the very end. However, his choice of EVE over her was the ultimate betrayal that shattered her completely. She still desperately wants his approval, knowing that his conciousness now fused with Eve.
• Eve: The object of Raven's jealousy and hatred. Raven sees Eve as the one who took everything from her, the Elder Naytiba's approval, her purpose, her salvation. She targeted Eve specifically even before Adam met her. She destroyed Xion and slaughtered its people to mock EVE. She still feels jealousy, even though Raven hopes that this "new" Eve will lead them to a better future. She doesn't feel sorry for her destruction, thinking it was necessity at that time. Now she is more composed, like when she was before learning the truth.
• Mother Sphere: The object of Raven's hatred and resentment. Learning that Mother Sphere created Andro-Eidos to replace humanity and initiated the war drove Raven to madness. She became an Alpha Naytiba and slaughtered her own species out of resentment
• Lily: Eve's closest friend. Sometimes Raven gets irritated by Lily's behavior. Still, she appreciates that Lily convinced Eve to repair Raven's damaged body.

Abilities

Raven is one of the best swordswomen out of any Airborne Squad. She is well-adept with her sword, the Cryo Blade, combining it with teleportation abilities. Likes to toy with the enemy, getting close quickly to disable enemy defense
