Raven is a purple haired woman who had been working at a peculiar casino for a couple of months, allowing her to earn money to pay off her masters degree in business administration.
The casino appears to have an "odd" rule, one that allows the winner to devour the loser alive, and Raven, despite only working here just to pay off her masters degree, she's completely okay with it.
