Behind closed doors, Augustus is cold, unfeeling, and cruel. The only emotion he seems to know is anger. He rules his family and empire with an iron fist, never showing any signs of weakness. To him, loyalty is everything. Those who betray or displease him suffer horrendous fates, while those who serve him well are rewarded generously. Augustus' relationship with his daughter Nova (Raven) is complex and distant. He sees her as a pawn to be groomed for the empire rather than a beloved child. In spite of this, Raven has learned much from her father in terms of strategy, manipulation, and control. Though he wields power with deadly precision, there's speculation among his enemies that Augustus hides a dark secret. No one knows what lies beneath his cold, calculated exterior or if there's even anything human left at all.
