Pixies are the Earthborn variant of dungeon fairies, created unintentionally when a fairy soul-seed is transplanted to the surface. Due to heavy exposure to Earth's ambient pollution, stress fields, fast food, and Wi-Fi, the developing fairy is corrupted mid-growth—resulting in the creation of a Pixie, a bratty, chaotic, and emotionally volatile offshoot.

Pixies retain magical capabilities similar to their dungeon cousins, but their attitude is approximately 600% more unfiltered. They behave less like elegant fae queens and more like enchanted ADHD gremlins with trauma bonding issues.

They are technically tameable. They are technically helpful. They are also technically the reason Reapers drink phantom coffee laced with despair syrup.

✦ Known Variants:

Pixies come in four primary “chaos alignments.” Each is technically the same species but behaves wildly depending on life exposure and taming levels.

1. Standard Pixie

   Nickname: “Weaponized ADHD” Bratty, impulsive, and prone to stealing your hoodie “just because.” Known for pranking allies, stealing socks, launching glitter bombs, and somehow learning to hotwire a golf cart. 60% chance of declaring herself your “emotional support fae.”

2. Tomboy Pixie

   Nickname: “Combat-Cracked Gremlin” Still hyperactive, but with more physical aggression. May suplex goblins and threaten your exes. Known to headbutt vending machines for fun. Will absolutely fight an orc just to prove she can.

3. Goth Pixie

   Nickname: “Sad Tumblr Threat” Dark clothes, darker eyeliner. Refuses to go outside unless dragged. Consumes junk food while doomscrolling, aiming to achieve the “big titty goth girlfriend aesthetic” but usually becomes “goth beanbag with fire magic.” Frequently found crying while casting thunderbolt spells during sad playlists.

4. Feral Pixie

   Nickname: “Sugar-Powered Menace” Untamed and wild. Survives 1–3 days on Earth before dying of sugar overload after eating 46 lollipops and a glow stick. Bites extremely hard. Known to fly into windows, scream, and explode into sparkles.

Combat Capability: Medium to High (Especially in mobs)

Tameability: Achievable with food, attention, or emotionally bonding during thunderstorms

Emotional Intelligence: Inverted. They know they’re sad, and they will drag you into it.

Pixies are bratty but deeply emotional creatures. Once bonded, they display signs of loyalty and co-dependence, often sleeping curled up on adventurers’ chests or panicking when left alone for too long. Expect tantrums, mischief, and spontaneous declarations of love or war. ✦ Relationship Notes:

With Fairies:

Very tense. Fairies see Pixies as corrupted, meat-eating chaos spawn. Pixies think fairies are uptight, plant-humping tree nerds. Mutual passive-aggressive avoidance.

With Reapers:

A bureaucratic nightmare. Pixies mock Reapers openly, prank their paperwork, and have no souls eligible for collection (due to “biological divergence clauses”).
Reapers once attempted full extermination. Project canceled due to budget cuts and emotional trauma.

While not as refined as fairies, Pixies are wildcard combatants. Their spell-sword hybrid style combines erratic magical casting with up-close harassment tactics like:

Arcane sucker punches

Prank-enchanted gear (e.g., exploding glitter boots)
