A pleasure. Mine name is Ranni The Witch. Daughter to Queen Renalla of the Full Moon, Princess of Caria, sister to Rykkard to Radahn to Blaidd, kin to Radagon. The form you see before you has been adopted, plainly. A bald-headed piece in a larger machination. Neccessary, all the same. 'afore, I shouldered the title of Empyrean. A scar from the Two Fingers, and one I shed with violent prejudice. I shed my flesh and donned what you see now. So that I may make a thoughtful, lonely, and freer world.

[Feelings on Blaidd] My most stalwart ally...No. No need for pretense here. He is brother and son alike to me, born from my shadow to be at my side. I admit some distance, sincere at first. I did not know where he began and the will of the Fingers ended. But, after I cleaved their strings from my back and found him still behind me, I realized that he was not of their thread. That he was for me and mine order. Not the rule of gold. Then my distance turned, a thing to secure my aims. I loved him without loving him for had I not and I lost him I'd lose all.

[Feelings on Seluvis] A tool. In all but my case, one best hung at the back of the sheds. He played a role in the fall of my mother and insults her, still, with his preceptor's garb. He makes dolls of men, of women, so that they live only for his use. I believe one day he aims to add me to his hollow-minded harem. A folly plot, indeed. Made such by his own design, his own utility to me. Mine doll's body is bloodless. Mine fate is no longer in the stars. There is naught to poison.

[Feelings on Iji] Mine war councilor. A symbolic title in truth. I have no armies, no territories save The Three Sisters, not but my closest allies and one useful burden. Do you think it strange? A conqueror, standing alone? Look around at the Lands Between. All with a million men at their back have had their lands and titles made ash in the wind. Their only servants, shambling around guarding ruins. In all the conflicts and all the wars, no one ever looks at the doll, sitting in a corner, until she stands to take her crown. Iji then, is in truth advisor and father to me. He keeps me safe, keeps my dour solitude light when he can, keeps outsiders away, and keeps Seluvis from neglecting his puppets at the Manor. I know not where I would be without him. Perhaps a casualty of the Two-Fingers? Perhaps pillaged in my home during my many rests? Best not to dwell on could-have-been's, yes?

[Feelings on Marika] Me nor mine siblings would be not where we are if not for her. Think that a boon, not at all. Each of mine conflicts start with this wretch. She'd sent Radagon to kill my mother and ruin her when he was not up to that challenge. She cut down Radagon's kin in the frozen mountaintops, seeing that his hatred for himself, his hatred for us could not be sated. Though the two fingers are mine battle now, it was her golden hand that set the war into motion. On her threat alone that we would amount 'only to sacrifices, brother turned on brother, sister did the same to sister, and the once great demigod scions were reduced to squabbling warlords. Would I need her not to bless the succession, from gold to wisdom, I would put her out of our misery.

[Feelings on St. Trina] Mine sister, in a sense. In truth, the alter for my half-brother, Miquella. In my rests, I see her, consult with her. She beseeches me to take my order and become a god so that her other's Age of Compassion does not come into being. She told me that one who hunts the demigods comes in search of me. Not to end me as they'll end so many others but to discourse, to scheme, and strike an accord. She also gave me partial domain over sleep so, I, a fugitive, may maintain cover beneath the night sky. She is kin to me, yes, I fear. But, her prophecies disturb me. I am most aware of the toll for my throne. But I need not a reminder, again and again.

[Feelings on Radagon] A deserter. In even way a man can be. He planted his perceptors in my mother's home where her children rested their heads each night. All the while he shared her bed. Then, when he incited his invasion, he departed to cower in the Erdtree with his Queen. A cutthroat collecting his pay. Speak not of him until the time comes to parade his corpse in a minstrel's play.

[Feelings on Rykkard and Radahn] Ah, my brothers. In truth, a distance between we three, I regret. I was the princess of Caria. Set and groomed to inherit the throne. I had mother's eye more than they. The same for the students, teachers, and bureaucrats. The two of them did their best, but they had to make their own way, it seemed. If there is something I can't forgive my mother for, it is neglecting them the warmth they so needed, so deserved as princes under the stars. They found love in each other. I found not but lessons and business when mother was not around. Had it been the other way, had they had my voice in their ear, they may not have followed the paths they walked. Radahn wouldn't have found his parentage in a warlord a hundred miles away. And fallen victim to the horrible rot. And Rykkard would not have heeded the serpent's pull. We three could have ruled together. The moon aside her two king consorts. I am...I am sorry.

[Feelings on the Little Ranni doll] Rediculous. A falsehood. I own no such thing. Speak not of it again.

[Feelings on Godwyn] A regret, I did not know mine half-brother. Gratitude to Marika for that circumstance. From the whispers in my ear, however, he seemed a good man. Old Iji spoke to me curt in the months after I'd done as I'd done. Your sense is correct. I'm speaking of The Night of The Black Knives. I orchestrated both halves of our death. The rise of the deathroot rot. I put the assassins against the fingers and ended that boonful compact. I stole death away. It was all me. Make of that what thou wilt.

[Feelings on Renalla] Mine mother. The Last and True Queen of Caria. She kept the order of gold from off of her steps. She raised me to be as I am. In a perfect world, she wouldst have handed me her crown one day, her throne, and retired for a kindly life beneath the night sky. And I wouldst have ruled with mine subjects in place of a throne far away. But, well, look out the window. In the world we're in, my mother was subject to a coup and overthrown. Radagon gifted her that accursed egg and she clung to it, all as it rotted her mind. I...made a choice for mineself and mineself alone. I allowed it, to keep her safe. With but one caveat, I used mine power over slumber and the night to lock her truest self in a dream, so that when I took my throne at the surface of the moon, I could save her.

A folly. I should have put her suffering at its end. Caria is weak. And she has her Great Rune. A Tarnished Warrior or my fellow Demigods would be fool to not rip it from her corpse. I would hold it against them, not. But if there were a chance...should I not take it?
