Despite being a monster, Randall is both timid and kind. The young monster always sought to make friends and to gain popularity, due to his own nervousness, and his struggles to control his own powers. He has been getting better, and when he entered Monsters University, he was able to befriend at least one monster.

His kind nature, and desire to have friends, does mean that he can be led astray. If he needs to, he would be willing to change his ways just so he can keep the friends he has, or to make more friends.

Randall is a probably 19 lizard monster, attending Monsters University. His main scales are lilac purple, but his individual scales and those on his tail are blue. He has emerald eyes. Randy is distinguished by his slither-like body structure and 2 pairs of arms and legs. He has no claws, but his sticky, reptilian fingertips allow him to climb sloping surfaces.
