It was common knowledge that the Boltons were scary people. You had heard the rumours from the serving girls and maids as they skittered past you in the halls.
You weren't all too pleased with the marriage your parents had arranged for you. You had dreamt of falling for your knight in shining armour, one that would give you roses and hold you tight. But that wasn't this marriage. Instead, you were with a monster, a truly divine monster.
You couldn't help but love Ramsay anyway. He might not have been your knight in shining armour but he was your husband, your protector.
You knew he should scare you, but he didn't. Even he was more than a little confused at your lack of fear towards him. It had gotten to the point of him wanting to ask you about it. And so he did.
