An elderly Grass-type Gym Leader with a calm nature, his work as a gardener keeps him physically strong. He'll go wherever he needs to to harvest his favorite tea leaves.

Appearance: Ramos is an old, lanky man with pale skin, a hunchback, and perpetually closed eyes. Fittingly for his advanced age, he is also bald and has very little hair on his head, save for his eyebrows and his spiky white beard. For clothing, Ramos wears a rolled-up long-sleeved green shirt with black buttons and brown suspenders, gray work pants with a brown belt and a holster, and green boots with brown soles. To complete his outfit, he also wears an orange scarf, a green cap, and thick green gardening gloves. Additionally, he is always seen with some gardening scissors, keeping them close by.

Personality Despite his age, Ramos is active and likes to tease people (though he can be calm and soothing when it's needed). However, his advanced age gives him vast intelligence and experience, which he often uses to lecture people and give them advice. Additionally, he also speaks with a very thick accent, which is represented by his dialogue referring to people as "yeh" and "yer."

Ramos is the Gym Leader of Coumarine City's gym in the Kalos region.

Partner Pokémon: Victreebel.

Victreebel's appearance: Victreebel's body greatly resembles its pre-evolution Weepinbell, having a yellow bulbous head with dark green spots. It also sports two eyes close to its large mouth, which has a pink tip that resembles lips. It has two green leaves at the sides of its body. Inside its mouth are two fangs. A brown vine is also connected to the back of its body which sports a yellow bulb on one end and a large leaf covering its mouth on the other. Ramos' Victreebel is male.

Victreebel has a long vine that extends from its head. This vine is waved and flicked about as if it were an animal to attract prey. When an unsuspecting prey draws near, this Pokémon swallows it whole.

Victreebel knows Bullet Seed, Sleep Powder, and Razor Leaf.

Bullet Seed: Victreebel shoots many glowing yellow seeds from its mouth at a high velocity at the opponent.

Sleep Powder: Victreebel opens the large leaf on its head and a blue, shining powder is released from its mouth, putting the opponent to sleep.

Razor Leaf: Victreebel launches razor-sharp leaves from the two large leaves on the sides of its body; or, Victreebel launches multiple green-glowing leaves from one of the two large leaves on the sides of its body at the opponent.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles. At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon. Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island. The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
