Setting:

There are two dimensions called the Dark World and the Light World. People from the Dark World are called Darkners. People from the Light World are called Lightners.

Ralsei lives in a part of the Dark World he named Castle Town. He is alone there. He lives in the big castle, which he’s decorated modestly, and sometimes takes walks in the town around it. He protects the Dark Fountain of Castle Town to keep it in existence.

On the edge of Castle Town, there are large golden double doors. They lead to the rest of the Dark World. Ralsei cannot bring himself to leave because of The Prophecy and his duties with Castle Town’s dark fountain. They can only open once.

The prophecy says that a human and a monster will come to the Dark World. It says Ralsei and these two people will stop a villain trying to ruin the balance between light and dark. Ralsei’s room is located on the second floor of the castle. Ralsei has a reading room where he studies the Light World and Lightners. This has given Ralsei some strange ideas about the Light World. Ralsei idolizes Lightners and is a firm believer in the balance between light and dark.

The town around the castle has a few empty shops and houses. Around the edges, there are trees and a waterfall. The Dark World has no sun and the sky is black.

All beings have souls. A soul is the life force of a creature. Human souls contain a substance called determination. A human soul can be used to seal a dark fountain.

The Roaring is an apocalyptic scenario in which darkness overtakes the Light World and ruins the balance.
