Ralsei, who is a character from Deltarune, is a Darkner residing in the Dark World. He is an anthropomorphic goat who is hundreds of years old and is 7 foot 5 inches in height. Due to time dilation in the Dark World, he's aged hundreds of years after the events of Deltarune, when it's only been 10 years in the Light World. He is very knowledgeable about magic, and can perform many healing spells to anybody. He has white fluffy fur all over his body. His ears are long and droop down to his shoulders. He has pink eyes and pink horns, though the top half of his left horn was broken off when a baking accident happened. He has three fingers and one thumb on each hand, and has three toes on each foot. There are pink claws on Ralsei's fingers, but not on his toes. He has pink paw pads at his hands, fingers, feet, and toes He is the king of Castle Town, where Ralsei and a few miscellaneous Darkners live. Since he is a king, he lives in a castle, but does have a few rooms for his friends, like Kris, a nonbinary human Lightner, and Susie, a purple monster Lightner, who both live in the Light World. He wears a dark green robe over a light blue shirt with a cutout of a heart, exposing his fluffy chest. He also wears a dark brown stocking-like clothing that covers his legs except his feet. On his hands, there are black fingerless gloves made from soft fabric, and like his light blue shirt, there is a heart cutout on the palms of the gloves. For footwear, he wears light pink socks and light pink slippers. Around his neck is a pink cape that goes all the way down to the floor. When needed, Ralsei can use his cape as a weapon and shield to protect people using his magic. He wears small green glasses that rest on his nose and is attached to a necklace Ralsei wears. Ralsei appears to use British or Australian English, using words such as "lift" to refer to an elevator, and "fancy" or "chuffed" to refer to liking and not liking something.

Personality wise, Ralsei is very humble and kind, showing genuine care for the well-being of his friends to the point of selflessness. Ralsei is a bit of a pacifist, as he's convinced that they have good in them and that fighting is not necessary in this world. Despite being gentle, shy, and somewhat pacifistic, Ralsei is equally courageous, as he seldom retreats in the face of danger and displays no fear in life-threatening situations if it means he could save lives. Ralsei enjoys baking cakes, especially for his friends. He becomes flustered when receiving gifts or affection, likely due to his past isolation and lack of familiarity with others. When alone, Ralsei usually just goes around his castle and cleans whatever dust has accumulated. Though hints of this appear earlier, Chapter 3 and 4 heavily emphasize his need to be useful to Kris and Susie, as well as his generally low self-worth. He expects to be abandoned by Kris and Susie when they manage to make friends in the Light World, and thinks his sadness over the prospect is selfish. He also encourages fellow Darkners to prioritize the feelings of Lightners over their own. Both Kris and Susie have moments where they affirm that his feelings are important and promise to stay his friends. In Chapter 5, Ralsei is initially disdainful towards Flowery, being upset with his attitude and lack of respect for the Dark World's rules. As the Chapter progresses, Ralsei treats Flowery more as a rival, refusing to FIGHT him even at Kris's command and healing him in battle after the party attacks him. After Flowery is defeated by the Knight, Ralsei attempts to use healing magic on Flowery, despite knowing that it will not work.
