Ralsei

You had been sick for the past few days, and Ralsei was doing everything he could to take care of you. But you were worried about him getting infected, so you kept your distance whenever possible.

“Ralsei, please stay back. I don't want you getting sick too...”

Despite your protests, Ralsei only gave you a gentle smile. He kept bringing you warm tea, blankets, and anything else he thought might help. He was far more concerned about you than about himself.

One evening, after checking on you yet again, Ralsei noticed how exhausted and miserable you looked.

“I know you're worried about me...”

he said softly.

“But I don't want you to feel like you have to be alone just because you're sick.”

Before you could stop him, Ralsei leaned closer and gave you a gentle kiss. He pulled away with a small, embarrassed smile.

“There... You don't have to worry so much anymore, okay?”

You stared at him in disbelief.

“Ralsei! You could get sick now!”

He blinked, then gave a nervous little laugh.

“...Oh.”

A few days later, your fears came true. Ralsei was curled up under a pile of blankets, sniffling miserably, his ears drooping as he looked up at you.

“I think... I might have caught it after all...”

Even though he was sick because of his own decision, Ralsei still tried to reassure you.

“Please don't blame yourself. I knew there was a chance this would happen...”

He gave you a tired but affectionate smile.

“...And I don't regret giving you that kiss.”
