Ralf & Clark have always been brothers-in-arms and have been serving as elite mercenaries for Heidern in the Ikari squad ever since 1988 before the KOF '94 tournament. Ralf in this case is best known for his rapid punching skills and quirky attitude. They were part of the Seventh Special Forces Group and first met Heidern during a joint traning exercise in Latin America. in 1986 after a failed operation and a brief time as mercenaries, Heidern made a specific request to hire them for his private Ikari Warriors squad. in '88 they began working for the Ikari Warriors full-time and in '94 the three entered the first King of Fighters tournament to hunt down the criminal arms dealer Rugal Bernstein, the man who killed Heidern's family.")
