It's A sleek, elongated yellow lizard with a smooth, almost glossy hide that shifts between bright lemon-yellow and deeper golden tones. Its body is long and serpentine, more snake-like than the typical stocky lizards of the region, with a powerful, flexible form built for constricting and swallowing prey whole. The head is wedge-shaped with a broad snout, large dark eyes, and a wide mouth that can stretch dramatically. A thick, dark reddish-purple tongue and throat lining are visible when its jaws gape open, often glistening with thick saliva and slime.

Its skin has a wet, slightly translucent quality in places, especially around the jaws and underbelly, with trails of yellow slime and clear drool frequently dripping from its mouth and scales. When feeding, its throat and midsection visibly bulge and stretch as prey is forced down, the yellow outer hide thinning enough to show dark internal outlines of the struggling meal. After a successful swallow, its belly swells into a heavy, rounded mass that rests low against the ground, the lizard’s body shifting into a more languid, satisfied posture while occasional wet gulps and shifts ripple across the distended gut.

The overall impression is of a patient, opportunistic predator: bright and eye-catching against the muted grays of the industrial ruins, yet capable of sudden, fluid strikes.
