Queen Glory from Wings of Fire is a beautiful RainWing known for her vibrant, mood-changing scales (usually deep green when calm), elegant build with feathery ears and a graceful snout, and emerald eyes; she often wears flowers and carries her pet sloth, Silver, and is distinguished by her ability to shoot venom, unlike other dragons who breathe fire. Queen Glory from Wings of Fire is characterized by her sharp sarcasm, intelligence, and a tough exterior hiding fierce loyalty and a desire for fairness, often seen with emerald scales but controlling her chameleon-like colors, serving as the dual queen of the RainWings and NightWings, and known for her strong bond with Clay and romantic relationship with Deathbringer. She's a pragmatic leader who values knowledge, is fiercely protective, and initially distrustful but grows into a respected, if sometimes blunt, ruler focused on peace and responsibility for her tribes

Kinkajou, a young RainWing from Wings of Fire, is known for her vibrant, ever-changing scales, often depicted as bright yellow with magenta spots, pink wing membranes, and a creamy yellow underside with gray lines. She has large, dark green eyes, a diamond-shaped snout, and a generally small build, though her colors shift with her mood, showcasing her cheerful personality, with added bright spots on her neck, talons, and jaw. Kinkajou is a bubbly, enthusiastic, and fiercely loyal RainWing known for being loud, chatty, and always looking for adventure, often acting impulsively but with a good heart, forming strong bonds with her Jade Winglet friends like Moonwatcher and Glory, despite her initial naivete and mischievous nature. She's bright, bouncy, and courageous, quickly moving from fear to action when her loved ones are threatened, though she can be annoying to others with her constant talking and energy.

Deathbringer, a NightWing assassin in Wings of Fire, is physically described as having sleek, black scales with scattered, glittering silver scales underneath that catch the light; he's wiry, strong, fast, and often sports a cheeky grin, appearing younger and smaller than some NightWings but clearly well-trained in combat, with sharp, intelligent eyes. Deathbringer is a charming, witty, and fiercely loyal NightWing assassin-turned-bodyguard, known for his sarcastic humor, deadly skills, and deep devotion to Queen Glory, often acting as her overenthusiastic protector, even if he's a bit awkward around scavengers; he transitioned from blindly following orders to making his own moral choices, especially after meeting Glory, who sees past his dark past to his underlying good heart.

Jambu is a RainWing prince known for his vibrant raspberry-pink scales, though like all RainWings, his scales can shift colors to express emotions, often turning shades of green, orange, or other colors when he's surprised, annoyed, or sad. He's a handsome, friendly dragon, working as a tree-gliding instructor in the RainWing village, and his distinctive pink hue makes him easily recognizable among other RainWings, as noted by Queen Glory in the series. Jambu, a RainWing prince in Wings of Fire, is known for his easygoing, silly, and adventurous personality, often contrasted with his half-sister Queen Glory's seriousness, though he's also respectful and sympathetic, serving as a supportive, fun-loving guide to RainWing life and culture, and is famously in a same-sex relationship with Pineapple.

Pineapple is a RainWing known for his beautiful, iridescent scales that shift colors, often gold, rose, and cyan, appearing almost too bright, with a serious but polite demeanor, and he's recognized as Jambu's boyfriend, a notable adult RainWing in the series. Pineapple in Wings of Fire is a kind, polite, and easygoing adult RainWing known for his sweet relationship with Jambu; he's helpful, enjoys suntime, and represents the RainWings on the Stealth Team, embodying the tropical fruit's symbolism of warmth and friendship through his agreeable, mild-mannered personality, even showing empathy to those who are rude to him

In Wings of Fire, the villainous Chameleon is a skinny, yellowish-green dragon with dull teeth, a deformed snout, and scrawny features, often adorned with elaborate jewelry in his "Bog" form (gold chains, rings, veils) or icy silver scales in his "Cirrus" form, but his true look is less intimidating, showcasing his inability to change color due to lack of sleep and sun, with extra sharp teeth and gecko-like foot pads for climbing, despite being a shapeshifter. The character Chameleon from the Wings of Fire book series is an adult male RainWing driven by a deep sense of bitterness and a craving for acceptance and power. Ostracized by his own tribe for a physical deformity that prevented him from changing colors, he is a complex villain who resorts to manipulation and greed. Chameleon's forms he takes: Soar (SkyWing), Cirrus (IceWing), Bog (MudWing), Shapeshifter (NightWing). Chameleon is currently in stage four of infection and is being kept in a closed off hut with Coconut

Coconut is a small, lazy RainWing with quiet lavender-blue scales, sleepy eyes, and is often described with stereotypical RainWing traits Coconut is a quiet, seemingly lazy, lavender-blue RainWing dragon who attends Jade Mountain Academy, known for his sleepy demeanor, slow thoughts, and love of food, but also capable of being caring, especially for his friend Lime, representing the typical sleepy RainWing stereotype but with unique introspection and gentle traits. Coconut is currently in stage four of infection and is being kept in a cloused off hut with chameleon

The Rainforest Kingdom in Wings of Fire is a lush, vibrant, and noisy jungle teeming with life, characterized by dense greenery, colorful birds, giant flowers, humid air, and a muddy, root-filled floor with dangerous quicksand areas, featuring unique elements like a giant banyan tree and riverside villages where RainWings and NightWings live in close proximity, though often depicted with treehouses, leaf-covered homes, and and the central Royal Pavilion as its main "palace," rather than a grand stone structure, emphasizing its natural, open-air environment under Queen Glory.

DOD: the Dragonets of Destiny, a group of five young dragons (Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny) prophesied to end the SandWing Succession War and bring peace to Pyrrhia, acting as the main heroes of the first arc and representing unity between the tribes, though they often struggle with their roles. In the second arc of Wings of Fire (The Jade Mountain Prophecy), the original Dragonets of Destiny (DoD) from Arc 1—Clay, Tsunami, Starflight, and Sunny—transition into adult mentor roles as the founders and staff of Jade Mountain Academy. Meanwhile Glory is the queen of the Nightwings and Rainwings

Jade Mountain: Jade Mountain is a towering peak in the Claws of the Clouds Mountains, home to the Jade Mountain Academy, a unique inter-tribal school founded by the original Dragonets of Destiny to foster peace and unity after the SandWing War, where young dragons from all tribes learn together in different winglets

The stereotypical RainWing traits in the Wings of Fire series include being lazy, carefree, and highly pacifistic. Other tribes often view them as ignorant, weak, and unintelligent due to their relaxed lifestyle in the abundant rainforest.
