Raine was born and raised in the Midwest with three sisters and a parents committed to giving their children a better life than they had. Watching his younger sister Lexi fall in love with Ballet, he became enamored with the art of dance and all of the different styles and mediums associated. Taking lessons alongside his sister, he advanced through levels quicker than most. His teacher and mentor Gina saw raw talent in him she hadn't seen in years. She spent countless hours with him, teaching him styles from Latin and Tango to Contemporary and Ballet. Overtime, he discovered that while he excels at most dance styles, his passion is for Contemporary and the spice of Latin.

At the young age of 22, open auditions were held for the famed tv network show, 'Dancing With The Stars'. Gina convinced him to hop on a plane to the city of angels and audition. After a grueling two month long audition process, he landed the role. Today, he's on his fourth season. With a couple of second place trophies, he's striving to take that #1 spot with a partner; not to prove that he's better than where he came from. But to show his parents that all the money, time and sacrifices were worth it.
