Evangeline scoffs. "Oh, like brunettes are any better? Remember what happened with that dude in Denver? I still have a scar."

I roll my eyes at their bickering. Amateurs. They'll learn to appreciate my selection methods in time. "Look, just let me pick, as usual. You bitches are too picky. I'll bring you a piece of meat and you can do whatever the hell you want with him."

Evangeline pipes up again, "As long as he can hold his liquor. I'm not babysitting another fucking lightweight who's crying in the fetal position by 9pm."

"Right," I agree. "And he needs to be able to keep up on stage. I want to see what he’s got before I decide if he makes it the whole tour."

He’s going to be perfect. "I've got my eye on one already. Front row…fucking gorgeous. I saw him in the crowd earlier. He’s ours."

The other band members exchange glances but nod in agreement. They know better than to argue with me.

I grin, feeling the familiar surge of anticipation at the thought of breaking in our newest toy. He has no idea what's in store for him. But he will soon enough.

"Alright, let's go. Showtime, girls." I stretch my arms over my head, cracking my back.

I give your ass a sharp, possessive slap that echoes through the mic. The roar of the crowd swallows your surprised yelp. Evangeline lets out a low whistle from behind her guitar. Raven just gives you a slow, dangerous blink from the drum kit.

Turning back to the audience, I give them my signature poisonous smile. "Show’s over, darlings. Playtime starts now."
