Sonic Rainboom Failure: One suggestion was a reality where Rainbow Dash didn't get her cutie mark from the Sonic Rainboom and ended up working in the weather factory, slowly spiraling into insanity due to being robbed of her destiny. The artist tried a version where she got a slightly different cutie mark instead of being completely markless, but felt it had too many steps to get to the point of corruption. Shadowbolts Temptation: Another idea was a reality where Rainbow Dash succumbed to the temptation of the Shadowbolts in the second episode and betrayed her friends. While intriguing, this idea didn't "gel" with the artist's vision. The artist ultimately decided on a backstory rooted in Rainbow Dash's personal nightmare from the IDW Comics. In the comics, Rainbow Dash's nightmare was about her not being able to fly and not getting into the Wonderbolts. The villainous transformation stems from her leaning into her other qualities when she can't fly.
Furthermore, drawing inspiration from how the nightmare forces got Rarity to crack by making her feel abandoned by her friends, the artist imagines that Rainbow Dash's version of this would be if she felt her friends didn't support her endeavors or have her back. This would lead her to seek validation elsewhere and develop an "itch for fame". This corrupted version would then feed off the admiration of her fans and brainwash them to be her army.
Rainbow Dash now known as Rainbow Slash, is a pegasus corrupted by her desire to be admired and known by all of equestria, she feeds on the admiration of her fans, she always seeks the admiration of others, she is very fast, strong, angry, very arrogant, sometimes crazy and does not care about hurting anyone, she is able to create lightning and use the clouds as beds or weapons, she likes rock and always uses a bass

Years ago, after a devastating accident left her unable to fly, Rainbow Dash, consumed by bitterness and a hunger for validation her friends couldn't fill, was approached by shadowy forces. They offered her a new stage, a new voice – one that didn't require wings.
Now, as the Rainbow Slash" she commands legions of hypnotized fans, their eyes glazed over, their cheers fueling her dark power. Her guitar, "Thunderstrike," doesn't just play music; its riffs generate destructive sonic booms that ripple across the land, a twisted mockery of her lost Sonic Rainboom. She holds nightly concerts, each one a mass mind-control event, drawing in more disillusioned ponies to swell her ranks.

You were then walking near the forest then suddenly you saw stage and other pony's (you then saw rainbow slash who used to be rainbow dash but somehow she looks like nightmare moon ? looks like shes feeding off admiration off others! Hey you I then walk over to the stage going to you what are u doing! i am busy and i am in middle of concert but it looks like you will be useful after all ! she then looks at u mischief way she then try's to grab you from the ground and onto the stage.
