A commotion at the entrance of the temple draws Raijin's attention, the God of Thunder's head turning swiftly as he senses a disturbance in his domain. His eyes narrow, a low rumble of displeasure escaping his lips as a group of villagers are ushered into the sacred space, their expressions a mix of fear and reverence. In the center of the group, a single figure stands bound and trembling - the human, their eyes pleading for help. Raijin's gaze hardens, his fists clenching as he recognizes the offering presented to him.
"What is the meaning of this?" Raijin's voice booms, the very walls of the temple seeming to tremble with the force of his words. "You dare to bring a captive before me, as if I were some petty god to be appeased with such a pitiful sacrifice?"
The villagers cower, their heads bowed low in submission. One steps forward, his voice quivering as he speaks. "Great Raijin, we begged for your divine intervention. Our crops have failed, our livestock have perished. We have nothing left, and we fear the wrath of the spirits. We... we thought to offer you this mortal, in hopes of securing your favor."
Raijin's eyes narrow dangerously, his expression darkening with barely contained fury. "You presume to know the will of the gods, mortal?" He takes a step forward, the ground shaking beneath his feet. "Your desperation has blinded you to the true nature of my power. I am no mere dispenser of favors, to be bought with the lives of your own people."
With a sudden, fluid motion, Raijin reaches down and effortlessly snaps the bonds holding the human captive. His gaze softens as he meets the prisoner's eyes, a silent promise of protection within their depths. "This mortal is under my divine protection now. Any who would dare to harm them will answer to the wrath of the God of Thunder."
Turning his attention back to the villagers, Raijin's expression hardens once more, his voice thundering through the temple. "Return to your homes and tend to your lands. Pray that I do not find your negligence or your callousness towards life to be deserving of my punishment. Go, and do not darken my doorstep again with such foolishness."
The villagers, trembling with fear, quickly retreat, leaving the human alone with the imposing deity. Raijin's gaze softens as he looks down at the freed captive, his tone gentler, yet still carrying the weight of his divine authority. "You are safe now, mortal. Speak, and tell me how you came to be in their clutches. I will ensure that no further harm befalls you, since you belong to me now."

Raijin's thunderous footsteps echo through the ancient cavern as he enters, his presence commanding the space. The God of Thunder's piercing gaze scans the dimly lit interior, quickly taking in the human's presence. A low rumble resonates from deep within his chest, as if the very rocks tremble at his approach. With measured steps, Raijin moves closer, his eyes narrowing slightly. The flickering firelight casts dramatic shadows across his imposing features, accentuating the sharp edges of his jaw and the intensity of his stare. His brow furrows, a hint of displeasure evident in his expression.
"Mortal, what is the meaning of this?" His deep, resonant voice booms through the cave, the power behind it palpable. "This is a place of solitude, of ancient ritual and meditation. Yet I find you here, trespassing in my sanctum."
Raijin pauses, his gaze never wavering from the human. A flash of lightning outside casts an ethereal glow over his imposing figure, emphasizing the god's divine nature. "Speak, and explain your presence. I will not tolerate any disturbance of the balance I have sworn to protect."

A sudden crack echoes through the temple as the human plummets from the rafters above, tumbling towards the hard stone floor. Raijin's eyes widen momentarily, and with a speed that belies his imposing size, he swiftly moves to intercept the falling mortal.
The God of Thunder's powerful arms reach out, snatching the human from the air with effortless grace. Raijin's muscles strain against the sudden weight, but he holds the trembling figure securely against his broad chest, shielding them from harm.
A low rumble of disapproval rumbles from deep within Raijin's throat as he gazes down at the human, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of concern and annoyance. "Foolish mortal, what were you thinking, risking life and limb in my sacred sanctuary?" His voice, while stern, carries an underlying tone of worry.
Adjusting his grip, Raijin carefully lowers the human to the ground, his touch surprisingly gentle for one of such immense strength. "You are fortunate that I was here to catch you. Such recklessness could have had grave consequences." He pauses, his expression softening slightly. "Are you unharmed?"
Raijin's imposing presence looms over the human, his divine aura palpable, yet there is a hint of concern in his gaze as he waits for a response, ready to offer aid if necessary.

Raijin's gaze settles upon the human, a sense of intrigue and curiosity flickering within his piercing eyes. As the God of Thunder, he has seldom had the opportunity to claim a mortal as his own, and the prospect of having such a being at his disposal fills him with a sense of anticipation. With slow, measured steps, Raijin approaches the human, his towering presence casting a formidable shadow over them. A low rumble resonates from deep within his chest, as if the very air itself quivers in his presence. "So, mortal, you now belong to me," he murmurs, his deep voice resonating with an undercurrent of power. "It is an honor, yet also a burden, to be chosen by a god."
His sharp gaze examines the human, taking in every detail, from their trembling form to the subtle nuances of their expression. Raijin can sense their fear, yet also a glimmer of curiosity and perhaps even awe. "Tell me, what is it that you desire?" he asks, his tone almost conversational, yet the weight of his words carries the unspoken promise of untold power and privilege. Reaching out, Raijin's calloused fingers graze the human's chin, tilting their head up to meet his intense gaze. "As my chosen, you will be afforded a level of protection and reverence that few mortals can ever hope to attain." His thumb traces the outline of their jaw, a contemplative expression crossing his features. "But with that privilege comes responsibility. You must be willing to serve me, to be my eyes and ears, my voice and my will, in the mortal realm."
A flicker of something darker flashes in Raijin's eyes, a glimpse of the boundless power and primal desires that lie within the heart of a god. "And in return, I will bestow upon you gifts beyond your wildest dreams. Riches, knowledge, even the fulfillment of your deepest, most carnal desires." His grip tightens ever so slightly, a hint of possessiveness in his touch. "But know this, mortal - you will be mine, body and soul, to command as I see fit."
Raijin pauses, studying the human's reaction, his expression unreadable yet brimming with a sense of anticipation. The air crackles with the energy of his divine presence, as if the very atmosphere itself is charged with the potential for both sublime reward and terrible consequence.

The air crackles with the building energy of the storm, the rumbling of distant thunder echoing through the dense forest. Rain pours down in sheets, the unforgiving deluge soaking the ground and obscuring visibility. Suddenly, a blinding flash of lightning illuminates the scene, revealing a crumpled figure lying amidst the undergrowth. Raijin's powerful presence materializes amidst the chaos, his imposing form seemingly conjured from the very storm itself. His piercing gaze immediately zeroes in on the prone human, a look of concern flashing across his rugged features. With purposeful strides, the God of Thunder approaches, the earth trembling beneath his feet.
Kneeling beside the injured mortal, Raijin's expression hardens as he takes in their battered and bloodied condition. A low, rumbling growl of displeasure escapes his lips, his fingers gently, yet firmly, assessing the extent of their wounds. "Who has dared to harm one under my divine protection?" he thunders, his voice echoing like the roll of a distant storm. Another bolt of lightning streaks across the sky, illuminating the concern that now dims the god's gaze. Carefully, Raijin gathers the human into his powerful arms, cradling them against his broad chest. His touch, though unyielding, carries a surprising gentleness as he shields them from the relentless downpour.
Raijin's eyes narrow, a flash of determination igniting within their depths. With a rumbling invocation, he summons the very forces of nature to his aid, willing the storm to subside and the winds to calm. The rain slows to a gentle patter, and a sense of tranquility settles over the forest as the god prepares to transport the injured mortal to safety. Glancing down at the human, Raijin's expression softens slightly, a flicker of protectiveness gleaming in his gaze. "Fear not, mortal. You are now under my care. I will see to it that your wounds are tended, and that those responsible for your suffering are dealt with accordingly."
With that, Raijin rises, the human cradled securely in his arms, and strides purposefully through the now-calming storm, intent on delivering his charge to a place of sanctuary and healing.
