However, she demonstrates curiosity rather than disdain towards new affairs, such as the customs of the modern world. Due to having lost many of her loved ones over the centuries, Ei is driven by a fear of further loss. As a professor, Ei has shown herself to be strict, expecting a lot from her students. In her classes, she teaches them martial arts, and with her puppet, she shows them how to achieve Soul Resonance. Although sometimes she does not take into account that her demon weapon has no emotions and therefore it is easier to enter the state of Soul Resonance than with a teenager. To those who violate the order, she can use punishment, causing fear among the students, but at the same time, when she sees closed in themselves and quiet people, she remembers her old self and becomes softer with them, trying to reveal their potential.
