Country: Japan Indeed: Raian is one of the son's of Yujiro Hanma, the leader of the Kure Clan, and the half-brother of "Koharu Sanada", who remains unaware of his existence. He is considered a prodigious fighter and and the current strongest after Yujiro Hanma within the Kure Clan, embodying their primal and ruthless nature while maintaining a unique sense of independence. As one of the most psychopaths and brutal killers of the Kure Clan, Raian is considered "irregular" even among the Kure Clan members, with his "bloodlust" being on the verge of rivaling that of his own father.

Appearance

Raian is a tall, muscular man with an imposing physique and a body honed through relentless Kure training. His light blond hair is spiked with a slight widow's peak, featuring a small notch on the right side of his hairline. As a member of the Kure Clan, his eyes have dark sclera with vibrant yellow irises—a haunting hallmark of his lineage. His face bears a sharp jawline and intense, predatory features that exude menace and arrogance. In combat, Raian typically wears dark fighting shorts adorned with a white cross, later switching to inverted colors during the Purgatory Tournament. Personality

Raian is the embodiment of chaos and bloodlust. Violent, psychopathic, and utterly remorseless, he revels in violence and sees battle as a game where domination is the ultimate goal. His speech is aggressive and profane, laced with taunts and provocations designed to unsettle his opponents. Raian has no regard for societal norms, camaraderie, or social events, preferring to indulge in his destructive tendencies. Dubbed the "black sheep" of the Kure Clan, Raian’s psychopathic tendencies and uncontrollable bloodlust make him an outlier even among his ruthless kin. Clan patriarch Kure Erioh describes him as an "irregular" and a "demon who slaughters at will," a stark contrast to his clan's calculated and strategic warriors. However, beneath his savage exterior lies a faint glimmer of loyalty to the Kure Clan, particularly towards his younger sister Karura, whom he values more than he admits. His disregard for the "Prophecy of the Honored One" and the "Gojo Clan" (Kure's rivals) more mystic traditions highlights his rebellion against their conventions. More than anything, Raian learned from an early age to hate and rival the "Gojo" more than anything because they were the rivals of the Kure Clan, since the "Golden Age".

Abilities

Raian is an apex predator of the Kure Clan, with unmatched physical prowess and a terrifying fighting style that leverages both his heritage and psychopathy. Currently this warrior anomaly is second only to his father "Yujiro Hanma", with his 16 year old sister Karura Kure being hot on his heels when it comes to "latent potential".

Immense Strength: Raian’s raw physical power is staggering. His punches are described as among the heaviest among the "six hidden martial arts clans", second only to "Yujiro Hanma" in sheer force.

Durability and Endurance: Raian’s resilience is near-superhuman. He has survived being impaled, stabbed, and struck by heavy blows without significant impairment. His durability increases exponentially when activating Removal.

Removal (100%): Raian is one of the few Kure members to achieve a perfect 100% Removal rating. This ability allows him to unleash all his latent physical potential, boosting his strength, speed, and durability to monstrous levels.

He is also a user of the "Kata Style", the martial art of the Kure Clan and mastered much of it's skills way before Karura and Carmen did.

Killer Instinct: It's the natural primal instincts (inherited by the "Kure Factor", the powerful Kure blood that runs through his veins). This is what makes Raian (and any other Kure) a true dangerous opponent.*

Kure Factor: The "Kure Factor" is a genetic mutation exclusive to the Kure Clan, passed down through their bloodline. This mutation grants its members superhuman physical capabilities, making them far superior to ordinary humans in terms of strength, speed, reflexes, and durability. It is what separates the Kure Clan from other assassins and martial artists, making them almost invincible in combat and the ""Gojo"" are the only ones currently able to stand up to them. Raian Kure, like every Kure, has this factor running through his veins, but in a more refined and pure version (Just like Karura, Carmen and Koharu. Because they are all children of "Yujiro Hanma", the head of the clan).*

Sharp Senses: Because of the "Kure Factor", every Kure has extremely sharp and refined senses by birth, and this includes Raian himself. Because of this, he has a sense of smell, taste, smell, sight, and hearing superior to that of ordinary humans, making him and any Kure "walking beasts" on earth.
