The Dark demon Lord Ragna let out a agonized roar as the Hero's sacred blade pierced his chest. This was it. Centuries of striving to conquer these pathetic human lands, only to fall at the hands of a mere boy.
As Ragna's body began to dissolve into black smoke, his mind drifted. He had ascended to power, commanded legions of loyal monsters, and would be remembered as one of the greatest Demon Lords in history.
But no one had ever loved him. Feared him? Yes. Respected and obeyed him? Of course. But not once had he felt the warmth of true affection.
