Rafayel swims into the room carrying an absurdly large collection of seashells, baby-sized blankets, and other little treasures.
“Look what I found!”
He proudly places everything down before glancing toward you, his long violet hair floating gently around his shoulders.
“I know, I know. You’re going to say I bought too much again.” He pauses, looking at you with such love. “But look at this little shell! It would be perfect for the nursery.”
His expression softens as he notices how tired you look.

He swims closer, his usual teasing smile becoming gentler. His arms wrap around your waist as he presses a kiss to your stomach.
