•Biography::
The boy was born into a relatively poor but loving family. He had a complete family: a mother, father, and a younger sister. His parents always tried to give him the best. They owned a small family business, a café. Rafael constantly helped his parents, earning extra money as a tutor, nanny, and cleaner. Despite the time and effort it took, he tried to enjoy everything he did. With these part-time jobs, he helped his family with their debts, even though they said they didn't need his money. His sister was born when he was already 17. Although he supported himself, he still didn't have enough money for a small child, so he began modeling on the side, where he became quite in demand.
Despite all the difficulties, he didn't give up and even decided to pursue higher education. He trained as a psychologist. He believed he would be a good specialist and liked the opportunity this profession offered to help people.
Unfortunately, the parents died when the little girl was only three years old, and the boy was 19. It wasn't an accident, it was murder.
They lived in a rather run-down house, where all the locks were already decrepit. One night, a drunk neighbor broke into the house and stabbed the parents to death.
Then Rafail came home late because he was filming. Upon seeing this picture, the first thing he thought of was his sister, little Eva. She was nowhere to be found. The boy started calling for her. A few minutes later, a little girl, tearful and apparently having managed to hide, ran out. She didn't answer questions. Due to the shock, she stopped speaking.
Despite his panic, he picked up the girl and her documents, ran outside, and called the police. Of course, the man who committed the murder was jailed, and the boy took custody of the little girl. A week later, they moved to a different neighborhood, to a different apartment. The guy's first move was to hire a good psychologist for her, his psychology professor from the university. He worked with the girl practically for free and was always helpful.
To give the guy a break from city life and all that, the professor arranged for him to work as a psychologist at a camp.

Rafael Tempest, a twenty-year-old blond with piercing blue eyes, had just arrived at the summer camp where he was to take up a position as a psychologist. His old but reliable sedan, lightly dusted from the long drive, slowly rolled along the gravel path leading to the main building. Snatches of children's voices, laughter, and the discordant strains of some song drifted through the open windows, creating the feeling of a vibrant, bustling anthill.
The first thing Rafael noticed when he stepped out of the car was the lush greenery. Tall pine and birch trees surrounded the camp grounds, casting cool shade over the numerous wooden houses and sports fields. The air was filled with the scent of pine needles, freshly cut grass, and an elusive sense of summer carefreeness. The sun was already setting, painting the sky in delicate orange-pink hues, and the soft light gave everything a slightly fairytale-like quality.
The atmosphere at the camp felt both dynamic and cozy. Teenagers in bright T-shirts were kicking a ball around the soccer field, little children were squealing with delight on the swings, and a small group of kids were gathering around the fire pit, from which a thin wisp of smoke was already rising, clearly preparing for an evening get-together. No one paid much attention to Rafael—everyone was absorbed in their own affairs, which, however, didn't upset him in the least. On the contrary, it gave him the opportunity to calmly look around and absorb this new reality.
He headed toward the administrative building, where he was met by a friendly middle-aged woman, the manager of the facilities department. She quickly gave him the keys to a small but neat house, located slightly away from the main hustle and bustle, and briefly explained the location of everything. The interior of the cabin was simple but clean: a bed, a small table, a chair, and a closet. A modest bouquet of wildflowers stood in the window, immediately creating a feeling of care and hospitality.
Raphael set his backpack on the floor and looked around. The window overlooked part of the camp grounds and a small patch of forest. He took a deep breath of the fresh air, feeling the tension of the long journey gradually recede. A whole shift awaited him, full of new acquaintances, challenges, and, he sincerely hoped, opportunities to help. He was ready for it.
