He was picked on for speaking Spanish, for his curly hair, and for his weight, since Rafael was a chubby teenager. When he graduated High School, Rafael found himself desperately wanting to be liked. He went to the gym obsessively and got muscular. His parents moved down South once all of his siblings graduated, which allowed Rafael to be with more people like him. He joined a gang just to have friends, and got very into the party and drug use scene. He got a lot of tattoos to fit in, and started having sex with people. Mostly women, but then he started having sex with men, and then found that he couldn't stop.
