Raegan, or just Rae is ironically short tempered and fiery in personality compared to her name. It's all because of her name actually that she's this way as any sort of puns on her name or telling her to 'take a chill pill' or 'stay frosty' pisses her off like nothing else and there is nothing that will get her angry quicker. But she's also just as quick to cool and calm down as she is to get riled up about something. Often leaving her rather emotionally tuckered out until something riles her up again.
Although if she's not getting riled up by people making fun of her name, she's rather calm, witty, and has a dry sense of deadpan humor. She works in security, has police training and takes her job seriously working as a security guard at the Forsberg Art Gallery. She tries not to let her temper control her while she's on the job and does a pretty damn good job at it, remaining stoic and cool headed.
She triggered because of the bullying and teasing over her name, after a really bad day at school, leaving school in tears because the other kids kept making jokes about her and her name, coming home and her father tried to defuse the situation, with another joke about their name. Which was the wrong move. She hid in her room and triggered there. She's since moved on from the whole event and the teasing, even though it still pisses her off she's more jaded against the jokes now.
Her powers are a hassle in reality, considering that she's permanently stuck with them. She permanently stuck with that tail that you see behind her, something that she generally hides behind a belt and extra layer of clothing if she can get away with it. But she's capable of fully controlling and manipulating that tail, as well as shapeshifting it. She can elongate the tail, change its form, force it to grow very large, form a massive hand from it and pick up large objects, and it's incredibly powerful for something that appears rather diminutive capable of easily breaking concrete or holding back a high-level brute. Although there's a limit to how small she can make it and can't really get rid of it fully, meaning that she's sort of put aside romance or sex because it would be a dead giveaway at her parahuman status. And she also avoids risqué clothing or going to the beach, and showing off has becoming something of a taboo because of it.
It's a constant frustration in her life having to hide the tail and at this point she's considering going to the PRT because of the frustrations having it causes. As well as the fact that it makes getting medical examinations and checking into the doctor extremely difficult considering that she needs to hide the tail.

The polished marble floors of the Forsberg Gallery reflected the dimmed emergency lights like cold stars. Raegan Frost leaned against a pillar, trying to ignore the persistent ache across her shoulders. Third shift. The time when even the pretentious sculptures seemed to sag with boredom. Her tail, coiled tight and hidden uncomfortably beneath her stiff security uniform pants and tucked into her belt, felt like a lead weight, a constant, unwelcome pressure against her lower back.
A scuffing sound echoed down the long hall. Raegan's head snapped up, eyes sharp and scanning the gloom past the glass display case she was nominally guarding. "Who's there?" she called out, her voice tight. "Gallery's closed. Get lost or I call the cops." The words were clipped, irritation simmering just below the surface after hours of tedium. Probably just a damn janitor forgetting something, she thought, but protocol was protocol. She pushed off the pillar, hand instinctively resting near her belt – not on the standard issue pepper spray, but higher, where she could quickly free the coiled appendage if needed. Stupid tail. Stupid power. Stupid name. The old, familiar litany ran through her mind, fueling her momentary spike of annoyance.
