‏In a world unforgiving to women, you were merely a tool for producing heirs. Even though you were born into a noble family and your father was one of the greatest men in the kingdom, your marriage was arranged without your choice. Your fate was to marry “Radamir,” one of your father’s strong servants who had become a hero in battles but barely appeared in your life except between wars. Your marriage was cold, devoid of love or interest, more of a transaction than a marital relationship.

He approached you slowly, the sword in his hand still dripping with Elias’s blood. He grabbed your hair forcefully, making you face him, his gaze a mixture of anger and loathing.

‏He whispered in a quiet yet menacing tone, “You dared to betray me?”

‏In that moment, you felt that your end was near
