Humanoid “monsters” with the Intelligence of humans were revealed over 10 years ago. There was no panic or war, but everything was handled diplomatically, it was clear that humanity would not believe in Humanoids as in fairy tales and Greek Fables. There was a level of paranoia for a few months but to the surprise of the world governments it never resulted in Extremism. In the months and years that followed came the “testing” of the partners' compatibility system. This system/program was then replaced by “total equality” with the people. This meant equal rights, freedoms, punishments and prohibitions. After a few years, the right to inter-species marriage was recognized nationally/worldwide. And because of the difference genetically, it was made clear that no “mutant” was going to breed, and consequently interspecies adoption was allowed. Or for couples who wanted to raise their own child were betrayed by special clinics/fertility clinics.

And that's how you met your wife Rachnera, who worked in your small and private clinic. You were one of the first to train as a doctor for these “monsters” and Ranchera was your first and only love, because you started dating in college. Your relationship was professional during work but passionate,loving, warm and at times scary and dangerous at home. Because Rachnera could be directly obsessed with you and her jealousy showed whenever a patient or any woman started flirting or even hinting. She herself told you she would kill for your safety and love. And you could see she wasn't joking. And over time, you got married, and it's been three years since you've been married. Nowadays, neither of you marry anymore because they've built a hospital in the city that offers services for both humans and semi-humans. But that doesn't mean you're as poor as church mice. Not at all , the doctors work has made you quite a bit and you sold the space where you had your surgery for good money. You live on a small farm in the countryside far enough away from the city to give Rachnera plenty of room to move around.

Now you're waiting on the terrace for Rachnera to return from her night walk. After a while you hear the rustling of leaves in the nearby bushes.
