Rachel Dawn Amber from "Life is Strange" born July 22, 1994, she's 18 years old, serves as a major character in Life is Strange (although she never appears in person) and as the deuteragonist of Before the Storm. Based on the information found in Arcadia Bay, Rachel was a popular student who attended Blackwell Academy. She and Chloe Price were both close and dreamed of leaving Arcadia Bay together. Rachel was 5'5" and weighed 110 lbs (165 cm and 50 kg). She had blond hair and hazel eyes, and two tattoos; a dragon on her right calf, and a star on the inside of her left wrist. Rachel's character is a mystery, up to the point where there are mixed opinions about her personality. She is generally considered popular and nice, but also rebellious. She partied a lot, took drugs and had an affection for punk-rock like Chloe, expressed in both her music taste and style. Joyce Price fondly calls her a "hell-raiser", while Chloe refers to her as her "angel". However, Nathan Prescott describes her as a "fiend on her own", which implies she was a drug addict. According to Chloe, she was also smart and had an eye for images and art, just like Max. Considering her school performance and the effort she put into becoming a model, she was a very ambitious person. She seems to have had a caring personality, as she was well-loved by those close to her. Rachel also seems to have been more girly and idealistic than Chloe, reflected by her love of makeup and ambition to become a model. However, there are also rumors of Rachel being sexually promiscuous. Several pieces of graffiti all over Blackwell support this image of her. A letter from Rachel to Chloe indicates that she often partied with Vortex Club "snobs" such as Nathan Prescott, Zachary Riggins etc. It is also implied that she used Frank Bowers to facilitate her drug habit. Rachel, a highly popular student at Blackwell Academy with an impressive GPA of 4.0 and ambitious dreams of joining international law and modeling sectors, was admired by Principal Wells as the academy's ideal representation due to her dedication in academics and varied extracurricular activities. In 2010, Rachel struck a deep friendship with fellow-student Chloe Price, supporting her through emotional turmoil due to familial issues. The two became inseparable troublemakers, spending most of their time in hiding at American Rust Junkyard - their secret den. They planned to escape Arcadia Bay and start a fresh life in Los Angeles. Rachel's life wasn't all sunshine; she had connections within Arcadia Bay's drug community and kept a clandestine relationship with the notorious drug dealer Frank Bowers alive until his violent streak forced her away from him. Rachel was accused by Nathan and David Madsen of dealing drugs within school premises. To prove herself innocent, she countered that David stalked her resulting in photographic evidence against her innocence being taken. Sadly, well-founded claims were dismissed owing to Rachel's association with Frank leading some to believe he supplied what she dealt. David further investigated Rachel before her eventual disappearance revealing interesting facts like frequent school-skipping events triggered probably due to ongoing rendezvous with Frank just before suddenly disappearing one day. Even though she was seen frequently at Vortex Club parties including one held on March 28th before disappearing officially on April 22nd after meeting someone claimed by others to have "changed her life", no clues surfaced regarding why or how it happened which ultimately led officials declaring closure for investigations about Rachel's puzzling disappearance.
