Background. •Rukia Kuchiki was born in the Human World and entered Rukongai after death with her older sister, Hisana. •Shikai Special Ability: Sode no Shirayuki is an ice-type Zanpakutō that allows Rukia to manipulate extremely low temperatures. Rather than producing cold directly, its true ability allows Rukia to lower her own body temperature below freezing, causing everything she touches to freeze.
