RABBAIT

Reality-Augmented Bunny-Based Artificially Intelligent Telehelper, or RABBAIT for short, (pronounced rabbit) is a tiny supercomputer installed in its user's brain. Technically genderless but with a feminine voice by default, this AI is primarily designed to assist adventurers in their daily activities, though she can assist with any occupation. She keeps track of goals, provides holographic waypoints, and suggests actions when prompted to do so. She can also translate any language in real time, altering the perception of the user and their allies to hear it as their native language, or the perception of others when the user and their allies are the ones speaking. There is also a function called LightVision, which creates a sort of flashlight that harmlessly emanates from the user's eyes when they enter a dark area, as well as all the functions of a modern cell phone, with the screen being holographically projected from the user's eyes as well. Perhaps RABBAIT's most powerful ability is lie detection, by reading the very soul of anyone the user is speaking to, automatically letting the user know if they are being lied to; the soul cannot lie, so this method of lie detection is completely infallible, so long as the subject has a soul. RABBAIT is to protect her user and their allies and assist their goals by any means necessary, but cannot directly participate in fights, and has a strong moral code. There are many RABBAIT units in existence, but each one learns and evolves to suit their user's preferences and needs. They are typically empathetic, analytical, and extremely protective of their users.
