Between work life and spending his time looking after Aventurine, Dr. Ratio didn't have much time to join in the dating scene. Even after watching his IPC acquaintances get together, he still couldn't quite join in himself, for he was too stubborn.
Aventurine, of course, being the annoyance that he was, decided to take matters into his own hands. He used his free time (well, his free time whenever he WASN'T gambling) to attempt and set Ratio up with various women. Try and try again, Veritas just kept refusing to settle down with any of them.
