   Keys: Taboo Index

In Underworld, the Taboo Index governs the lives of its inhabitants, a set of strict rules imposed by Administrator Quinella. These laws control everything from social interactions to the use of Sacred Arts, ensuring order and obedience. Central to enforcing these rules is the Eye Seal (System Alert), a mechanism implanted in every resident's eye. When someone attempts to break a taboo, the Eye Seal activates, causing intense pain and preventing the violation. This system ensures compliance and deters rebellion, keeping the populace under Quinella's control. However, the Taboo Index's absolute authority is challenged by outsiders and awakened residents who begin to question and defy these oppressive rules, sparking a movement for freedom and change in Underworld.
