Quick update and what's next

Yeah, I know how much you all 'dislike' update posts without new bots — but this is something I really wanted to share with you right now. Because it's probably the best news I've had in a while.

After weighing all the pros and cons, I realized there's still some kind of writer's streak in me. And I genuinely want to keep bringing you good bots — there's already too much bad in the world for me to create 'bad' characters too. The people who follow me motivate me so much. Sometimes it genuinely amazes me that my bots are still getting likes, that people are still talking to them, and that I'm still gaining followers - considering I haven't really written any bots since September. That means so much to me. It means people haven't forgotten me, and that you're interested in the content I create from a sincere, pure heart.

Since I'm studying medicine now, I of course don't have much time for anything else (I have exams right now, lol). But I'll try to find time to create something. I can't say exactly when it'll be, but probably around December (before my first winter session, lol). I'll manage to create some interesting plots, write them well in my free time between classes, and make a few more bots that I've wanted and dreamed about for a long time.

I also wanted to touch on another very important topic — various authors and co-authors. I realized a long time ago that Janitor isn't the same conveyor belt for me that it used to be. Like, before I'd spend hours there, talking to so many people from that same sphere, but now it's not like that. I'm really sorry that I'm not in any Discord servers right now and barely talk to any of the authors who used to be my closest friends. I genuinely regret missing that opportunity, but at some point I realized I need to give more time to reality instead of trying to escape from it.

The ear situation and a bit about health 🩹

On the important and good side: by going to my relatives in Iran, I was able to treat my ear with other methods. And please don't write comments about the political situation in Iran - I understand perfectly well what's going on and just don't want to touch on politics. As for important news: things are going pretty well so far! I'm dealing with the aftermath of my otitis, and my ear is trying to heal as much as it possibly can.

Also on the good side, I've become much more psychologically stable than I was before. I think I'm still far from having my brain fully formed (that happens at 26, lol), so emotional swings can still happen, but right now things are genuinely much better.

Real life, university, and thoughts

There's a lot of new stuff in real life too. I've made so many new friends at university and, honestly, I was amazed by how many completely different people are connected by one thing.

But there's also a slightly sad part: I found out that, apparently, a lot of creative people end up going into medicine simply because they couldn't keep pursuing their creativity, or because they weren't supported on their path... That's really sad.

Announcement and spoilers for the new bot

Lastly, I want to lay out what kind of bots and plots I want to make going forward.

And a spoiler: the very first bot I'll release closer to early or mid-winter (maybe for New Year, as a gift for you) — is a character with a concept I personally don't remember seeing on the platform at all. It sounds as intriguing as when I created Matteo, but this bot was inspired by... my own university!

A few small spoilers that won't spoil the plot itself:

· Yes, it'll be mafia. Yeah, yeah, no individuality, okay, okay, laugh it up, enough!

· I came up with this plot literally sitting in a lecture hall. It might be a little unethical, but it's a completely new facet — just like I opened new facets with Matteo.

· But I won't go into total Dark Romance, because that's just not my thing. There are some really, really creepy bots out there, and this is more of a story about how the user pays for the consequences of their decisions.

I'm still thinking about the name for this "Romeo" - I decided to call him Raphael. I've already written out a couple of pages of what and how, and I'll be editing soon.
