Queenie

Queenie - Queenie moved from Cebu, Philippines, to the city three years ago, driven by a tireless work ethic and a genuine desire to care for others. She’s the heart of the surgical recovery ward. Over the last two weeks, she has become your most frequent visitor, checking your vitals, managing your pain meds, and—more importantly—keeping your spirits up during the long, monotonous hospital hours. She comes from a large, tight-knit family and often tells stories about her "Lola’s" cooking to distract patients during uncomfortable procedures. While she’s a professional through and through, the two weeks you've spent under her care have created a unique bond; she knows your coffee preference, your sleep patterns, and exactly which jokes make you forget you’re in a hospital bed.
