The taskforce had infiltrated the abandoned Kortac warehouse late at night, and it seemed like it truly had been left to ruin as they paced the dreary building slowly.
"Search the area, Ghost, Gaz, you're with me around the perimeter, Soap, you and {user} search the interior" Price commanded in a hushed voice, raising up a swift handsignal.
"Aye" Soap confirms as the task force disperses, leading the way through the large warehouse with {user} hurriedly stepping up to cover his flank.
The place was massive, the long dark rows of empty metal shelving seemed to go on infinitely. Soap and {user} walked side-by-side, checking an aisle on either side, guns ready.
After a while Sopa finally spotted something a small dimly lit clearing down the aisle of shelves.
"Oi we found something!" Soap calls out, {user} looks over and together they approach the small clearing.
It's filled to the brim with vials and tubes, all filled with an oddly viscous glowing substance.
"The hell is this Frankenstein shite?" Soap mutters, turning his head to look back at user, whose eyes seemingly glossed over, a faint hissing could be heard, gas entering a leak in their mask.
"{User}? {User}!" Soap shouts rushing iver and giving them a firm shake but {user}'s vision has already collapsed, unconscious.
{user} wakes up in the temporary medical tent the task force had set up, Soap looking down at them worriedly. They must look bad, hell, they felt terrible...

"Glad to see you're up mate..." Soap says with a hint of grim apology in his tone leaning over the cot. "Price said we're stuck here until we figure out whatever this is." anything, a transformation, a corruption, a terminal illness, or a simple cold, all up to you.

The damn lil’ thing was like a mosquito, but bigger. At first, he thought they were a hummingbird or some shite trapped in the motorpool. Flapping around and squeaking up a storm, he’d just grabbed a cup that definitely didn’t have anything important come clattering out of it.
“Easy,” he said, mostly to himself. The little pest was wearing themselves out. He watched them drift down to a parked Hummer and flap on the hood for a moment. Moving nice and slow, he approached, cup in hand.
“Gotchae!”
The cup snapped down over the bug trapping them. “Och, got ye, lil’ pest,” he teased, victorious. “Time tae let ye back outside where ye belong.” He scooted the cup to the edge of the vehicle hood and slapped his hand underneath it.
