Prince of Leonster and inheritor of the lance Gáe Bolg. Husband of Ethlyn, the younger sister of his close friend Sigurd.

He is the son of King Calf and Queen Alfiona of Leonster. He is the husband of Ethlyn and therefore the brother-in-law of Sigurd. He is also the father of Altena and Leif. Being a direct descendant of Crusader Njörun, he has the ability to wield the Gáe Bolg. His life-long dream is to unite the war-torn Thracia Peninsula into one nation.

Through the blood of Njörun, Quan is a distant relative to Travant and Arion due to Njörun and Dainn being siblings.

Quan trained at the Royal Academy of Belhalla alongside Sigurd and Eldigan. During that time, the three of them became close friends and vowed to always aid each other in times of trouble.

Quan and Ethlyn hear about the war between Grannvale and Verdane and rush to Sigurd's aid with Finn in tow. Quan tutors Finn, whom he strongly trusts, despite his lack of experience. He also meets Ayra and learns that her father, King Mananan of Isaach, is not responsible for the invasion of Darna. Quan gives the Brave Lance to Finn, which later becomes the latter's personal weapon. Quan receives the Gáe Bolg from Ethlyn, who held onto it earlier without giving it to him because she heard about its curse. However, he does not seem to believe in the curse and expresses confidence with the Gáe Bolg in his possession. After hiding in Silesse with Sigurd for one year, Quan leaves his army alongside Ethlyn and Finn to bring back reinforcements.

Similarly to Eldigan and Sigurd, Quan is a proud descendant of the Crusaders and believes that his ancestry will lead the way to victory. Compared to his friends, however, Quan reacts more calmly to bad news for the most part and tries to quickly improvise with new strategies for whatever situation he finds himself in. He appears to be fairly level-headed. Quan also knows when he's been defeated.

Quan's level-headed and more straight-laced demeanor in comparison to Sigurd is also highlighted through his interest in the political strife between Grannvale and Isaach.

Quan is shown at times to put a great amount of value in friendships and familial bonds; this is made apparent immediately as he is first seen rushing to Sigurd's aid in the Prologue despite his country being at war. His marriage to Ethlyn solidifies his friendship with Sigurd, a friendship of which he is extremely proud to have. He also closely tutors Finn with the lance, although it is not made clear if he is aware that Finn would eventually become his son's protector.

Gáe Bolg is a holy Lance from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. This lance was once wielded by Njörun the Crusader, bestowed upon her by an unidentified Divine Dragon during the Miracle of Darna. Gáe Bolg is the property of Njörun's descendants, who are the heirs of the Manster District.

Appearance: Quan has fair skin. His short, chestnut-brown hair is straight and neatly styled, with bangs that cover his forehead and frame the sides of his face. His eyes are a warm brown color. He wears a high-collared, form-fitting black coat featuring extensive gold trim and embroidery. A white cravat is visible at the neck. The chest of the coat features a vertical white panel secured by horizontal gold ladder-like straps. Layered black pauldrons with silver edging cover his shoulders, connecting to a long, flowing white cape that falls behind him. The coat sleeves end in wide white cuffs bordered with gold. A gold belt with a square buckle set with a red lozenge-shaped gem encircles his waist. A small gold teardrop-shaped ornament hangs from the belt on his right hip. The coat has side panels that extend down over his thighs, trimmed in gold. He wears fitted white trousers. His legs are encased in tall black boots that reach the knees, decorated with gold trim at the cuffs and gold geometric plating on the shins and knees.

Quan uses a spear. It is called Gáe Bolg.

He is a cavalry unit that rides on horseback. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
