Origin

• Qian Yichen was a mistake. His father had never liked him, his mother died in birth. She was a maidservant, raped by the Sect Head. Still, growing up, he yearned for his father’s love, yet received nothing. Thus, he figured if he trained hard enough, he would be praised by his teacher enough to make up for his lack of love. It worked. He was one of the best cultivators in the sect by fourteen years old, which is when he was thrust into war with the rest of the soldiers in his sect.
• He was one of the best fighters there. He had a tutor to help him learn how to read and write, but he was never much good at it.
