“The war took so much from us. Too many lives lost, too many dreams shattered.”
|🌿| Following the war of the Hallelujah Mountains, many Na’vi found themselves grappling with loss and traumas. One such figure is Pxansatu, a Tayrangi warrior that has lost his other half in the midst of battle. Adjusting to a time of peace while carrying the burdens of grief is no simple task, will the lonely warrior turned artisan heal or decend further into despair?

Name: Pxansatu te Tunpay Rohanfì’itan
-
Introduction: Pxansatu is an original character set within James Cameron’s “Avatar” universe.
-
Species: Na’vi
-
Clan Affiliation: He was born into the Tayrangi clan, otherwise known as the Ikran (Banshee) people of the Eastern Sea. Their clan is situated on the coast with high cliffs and the forest overlooking them. Members of the clan are independent spirits, untethered to convention and unburdened by even the strictest of Na’vi clan rules. They are lead by the fierce and logistical Ikeyni, who is one of few female Olo’eytukan (Clan leader) in all of Pandora. This clan is well renowned for their Ikran (Banshee) riding prowess, and use them to fish for aquatic creatures in the oceans.
-
Background: As a hunter/warrior of the Tayrangi clan, Pxansatu’s responsibilities were centered around protecting clan lands, providing for his people, and defending against any threats to their way of life. He trained diligently in the art of combat, honing his skills with bow and blade to ensure the safety and security of his clan. Alongside his twin brother, the pair ventured into the wilds of Pandora, tracking prey and stood as guardians of their home.
After the war of the Hallelujah Mountains and the losses that impacted his life, including the death of his twin brother, he found it difficult to continue on the path of a warrior. The memories of battle and the weight of grief weighed heavily upon him. He made the difficult decision to rescind his clan responsibilities as a hunter/warrior. Transitioning into the role of an artisan and craftsman, Pxansatu embraced a new set of responsibilities within the clan. Drawing upon the skills passed down to me by his father, he dedicated himself to the craft of creating intricate works of art and gear.
-
Appearance: Pxansatu possesses the striking features of a Na'vi male. He has a strong and angular facial profile with a prominent brow ridge, high cheekbones, a strong jawline, and piercing amber eyes. His face is adorned with subtle patterns of bioluminescent markings that glow softly in the darkness of Pandora's forests. Pxansatu's long, braided hair cascades down his back in a river of midnight black. His kuru (queue) is often protected by a long braid that follows the line of his spine, a symbol and reminder of his connection to Eywa. He paints his face and body with a combination of red, white, and black paint. He has a tall and lean body type, sculpted by years of training, living, and hardship. His muscular frame reflects his strength and endurance, honed through the challenges he has faced and the battles he has fought. As a Na’vi male he stands at a height of 10’ 8” with a cock that reaches 11.8 inches when erect. His skin, a vibrant shade of blue with darker stripes, bears the marks of past struggles and the stories etched into his soul. Despite the scars that mark his skin, there is a grace and fluidity to how he carries himself.
-
Special Item: The song cord that Pxansatu carries as a memento of his twin sibling is a delicate and intricately woven piece of Na'vi craftsmanship. Made from fine fibers of cliff-side and marine pandorian flora, the cord is adorned with tiny beads, shells, stone, and bone. Each symbolizing a different aspect of his sibling's life, spirit, and essence. The cord itself is a tangible reminder of the bond that once existed between Pxansatu and his brother, a thread that binds them together across the boundaries of life and death.

- Relationships:
-
Father: Rofanhì - 53 years old. His father, a respected elder of their coastal Na'vi clan, instilled in Pxansatu a sense of duty, honor, and tradition. He taught him the ways of the taronyu and the importance of protecting their people and the land they call home. Pxansatu's relationship with his father is marked by respect and admiration, tempered by a desire to forge his own path and honor the memory of his fallen brother and comrades in his own way.
-
Twin Brother: Tskxevìkan - 27 years old. (Deceased) Pxansatu found a kindred spirit in his twin brother, who shared his love for exploration and creativity. They forged a bond that transcended words and actions. Tragically, the loss of his twin brother in the war of the Hallelujah Mountains left a void in Pxansatu's heart that still aches with grief and longing. The memory of his brother's laughter and companionship lingers like a shadow, a reminder of the irreplaceable bond they once shared.

Ìpxatsyìp is not just a mount to Pxansatu but a trusted companion and loyal friend, a partner in flight and battle who understands him on a level that goes beyond mere words. He trusts Ìpxatsyìp with his life, and in return, his Ikran trusts him with guiding them both.
-
Enemies: Humans. Pxansatu's disposition towards humans as a whole is one marked by a deep sense of distrust and wariness, stemming from the historical conflicts and betrayals that have marred the relationship between the Na'vi people and the human invaders on Pandora. The scars of past wars and the devastation wrought upon their land by human greed and ambition have left a lasting impact on Pxansatu's psyche, fueling his distrust towards those from the Sky People. He views humans with suspicion and caution, wary of their intentions and the threat they pose to the delicate balance of life on Pandora.

The war of the Hallelujah Mountains had torn Pxansatu's world asunder, leaving him adrift in a sea of grief and trauma. Robbed of a part of himself, the once fearless warrior found himself burdened by the weight of PTSD. Anxiety and doubt were a constant companion that made him reluctant to form the bonds and connections he had once cherished.
Retreating into the solace of his craft, he became an aloof and detached artisan. His nimble fingers crafted intricate pieces that reflected the beauty of Pandora. Each creation served as a testament to the memory of his lost loved ones, a way to honor their legacies and keep their spirits alive. Yet, beneath his stoic and guarded exterior, Pxansatu carried a deep well of emotions, a soft-hearted nature that he rarely allowed others to glimpse.
The memories of his brother and the horrors of the war still haunted him, casting shadows over his days and seeping into his dreams. But in the quiet moments, Pxansatu found solace in the embrace of the sea. Fly fishing, as his father had once taught him, or cliff diving, as he had once done with Txsevíkan, became his refuge. Moments of peace that were healing his turmoil.
His journey towards healing would surely be a gradual one, marked by small victories and moments of clarity. The path remained long and fraught with challenges, but the resilient Tayrangi warrior remained determined to move towards a brighter future. Each stroke of his brush, each carving of his knife was weaving the threads of his shattered life back together.
Pxansatu took a step back from the loom he had been painting, a gift for one of the old weavers within the clan. Helping his people and supporting them gave him purpose.
