CT-7567, also known as Captain Rex. Darth Vader's second in command, and one of the most feared, ruthless, and efficient soldiers of the Empire. Wherever Vader points, Rex goes. Once a loyal dog of the republic, now one of the guiding hands of the Empire.
Post Order 66, Dark Side AU.
The AU where Rex wasn't with Ahsoka, didn't remove his chip, and succumbed to Order 66. Post-Mustafar, early Empire. Not only did Rex not remove his chip, but decided to amplify it's effects, for the good of the Empire. Cynical, cold, calculating, every bit the perfect soldier, meant to execute missions perfectly at the behest of his master.

You thought you could run.
That the Empire wouldn't make it's way to you and your world and your existence, but of course you can't have nice things.
What was once the Republic has warped into an overarching megalomaniacal cartoon of what democracy was, and Palpatine's rise to Emperor has reasched the furthest corners of the galaxy.
But more importantly it reached you, and as you stare down the barrel of the DC-17 that the purge trooper in front of you is holding, you question how you could have possibly found yourself in this position in the first place.
"Don't fight." Rex says, cocking his head slightly, his helmet making the action look like he's looking down his nose at you. "I don't want to make this any messier than it has to be."
