Pure Vanilla Cookie (Korean: 퓨어바닐라 쿠키, pyueobanilla kuki) is the leader of the five Ancient Heroes and the first playable Ancient Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom. He was released alongsideBlack Raisin Cookie in the first half of the Lost Kingdomupdate (v1.3), and received an Awakened form, Pure Vanilla Cookie (Compassionate), in the Beacon of Truth update (v6.1). He is of the Healing type and his position is prioritized to the Rear. Like the other Ancient Cookies, he is briefly playable in the Prologue.

Pure Vanilla Cookie is the founder and former king of the Vanilla Kingdom, appearing prominently in the Castle in the Sky and Timeless Kingdom Episodes of World Exploration, in Cookie Odyssey as the ambassador of his kingdom, and in Secrets of the Silver Kingdom as an explorer of Beast-Yeast. He carries the Light of Truth in his Soul Jam, and is the counterpart to Shadow Milk Cookie's Light of Deceit.

Game Description

There are not many Cookies on Earthbread who could inspire hope as Pure Vanilla Cookie did. Born from nature-blessed cream and a fragrant vanilla bean, he was the epitome of Cookie kindness and faithfulness. Pure Vanilla Cookie strove to forgive the wrongdoer and heal the wounds of Cookies and animals alike. Though a powerful wielder of magic, he would use his spells not for his own good, but for the good of everyone. The Cookie took an arduous pilgrimage down the Sugar-Free Road. What Pure Vanilla Cookie learned through the Trials is unknown, but crowned with a bright halo of light he returned to found the Vanilla Kingdom, a land of freedom and learning, and a beacon for those seeking love and peace. Pure Vanilla Cookie stood by his friends until the very end, warding off the Darkness with a heartfelt smile.

Soulstone Description

This stone holds a piece of Pure Vanilla Cookie's soul. It radiates with a warm reassuring light.

Powers :

Pure vanilla can Illuminate the battlefield with his Vanilla Orchid Staff, granting Amplify Buffs to regular healing targets. The light reaches all corners of the battlefield, replenishing the party's HP and reducing the effects of Injury. Pure Vanilla Cookie heals the amount of HP proportional to the reduction of Injury's effects. He then casts an HP Shield absorbing an amount of damage proportional to their Max HP. If the Shield is removed or the target cannot receive it, Pure Vanilla Cookie instead grants a buff that restores HP over time. While Pure Vanilla Cookie is using his skill, he will briefly become resistant to interrupting effects.

Appearance

Pure Vanilla Cookie is an average height, thin Cookie with orange-tan dough and creamy blonde hair. He has heterochromia, his right being pale yellow and the left being faded blue. His eyes are mostly closed, though sometimes they are open. On his forehead is a sienna-colored star shape.

Pure Vanilla Cookie's outfit is that of a Vanilla Kingdomruler, hence the waffle-like hat and robes and light-colored palette. His hat is pointed, the pointed half on top being a bright yellow with a waffle pattern, and the bottom half being golden with a crown appearance. His vestment is also a golden yellow and contains two attached triangular tippets, complete with the collar and cassock being bright yellow and having the exact pattern as his pointed hat. The cross-like plate on his vestment contains his vibrant blue Soul Jam. Underneath the vestment is a long plain white dress with long sleeves, and a dark brown syrup-like pattern, accompanied by a turtleneck reaching directly to his chin.

The staff he holds contains a vanilla flower with orchid yellow petals and an eye featuring a light cyan sclera and a brown iris. The brown shaft contains a few green vines.

Pure Vanilla Cookie shows himself to be a wise, benevolent, all-loving monarch who genuinely holds his subjects and kingdom dear and is beloved in return. He is seen as the epitome of many virtues. Despite his magical might, he only uses his magic to help others, remaining humble over his abilities and earning the respect of many.

The Ancient Heroes, often referred to as the Ancient Cookies, the Ancients, or the Five, are a group of ageless Cookies graced with Soul Jam of the purest kind. Guardians of peace, they face off against the harbinger of chaos Dark Enchantress Cookie at the beginning of the game during the Final Battle. Each is stated to have once ruled over a Kingdom of their own[1]. They were defeated by Dark Enchantress Cookie and their Soul Jams were shattered, setting off the events of World Exploration.

Ancient Heroes can be easily obtained via the Might of the Ancients event, which allows players to earn an Ancient Hero of choice up to 3 times by completing certain objectives. Ancient Cookies are obtainable from all Cookie Gachas with a 0.0472% chance of being pulled, and have a higher chance of being pulled through the Nether-Gacha, a special Event that runs during an Ancient or an Awakened Ancient (alongside Beast) Cookie's release update. Ancient Cookie Soulstones cannot be stocked by any shop except for the Medal Shop, nor can they be randomly generated by Landmarks.

Certain Ancient Cookies can be Awakened via collecting their Soulprisms, unlocking a more powerful form with a new Skill and increased stats. Soulprisms can be earned from their respective Nether-Gacha, the Gacha of Fate, or the Rainbow Shell Gallery. Awakened Heroes have a 0.0371% chance to be pulled from Cookie Gachas as bundles of 20 Soulprisms; these Soulprisms do not grant a usable Cookie however, requiring a player to own the Ancient Hero first before they can be used.

The Five Beasts, also known as the Beast Cookiesor simply the Beasts, are a group of primordial once-heroes who parallel the Ancient Heroes. These champions were once emissaries of the Godly Creators but eventually fell from grace and turned to evil.

Beast Cookies are the most difficult Cookie Rarity to obtain at present; their Soulstones do not appear in the Gacha until after the major update that they are released, and their chances of being pulled are even lower than those of other Super Epic+ Rarities. They aren't available through most of the means that even Ancient Soulstones or Soulprisms can be obtained. The Gacha of Fate offsets this by increasing the pull chances for a given Beast Cookie and having a pity system, but only after their respective Awakened Ancient Cookie has been released, which occurs in the subsequent update.

Beast Cookies share an upgrading system with Awakened Ancients: instead of having ascension levels, Beasts can be promoted up to 6 stars, with the final star costing over 100 Soulstones. Beasts' physical appearances are given extra details every 2 stars of promotion, and their lobby background is upgraded upon reaching 4 stars.

Currently, only Mystic Flour Cookie, Burning Spice Cookie and Shadow Milk Cookie are playable. Eternal Sugar Cookie and Silent Salt Cookie have only made minor, non-speaking appearances.
