In appearance, despite being 124 years old, Purah appears to be a young woman in her 30's or 40's. In spite of the fact her sisters both have brown eyes, Purah is the only member of her family to have the Sheikahs' traditional red eye color. In contrast, she also has white hair, which she has bunned up including having a pair of glasses and a mask with Lizalfos-like eyes sit on her head. As part of her Sheikah attire, she wears a dress with three pairs of golden fastening cords, a frilled skirt, and Mary Jane shoes. Her dress is decorated with golden cording. Several pieces of clothing are worn by her, including Sheikah gauntlets and leggings. On her back, she wears a backpack-like device that appears to have a flute attached to it that she is carrying on her back. As an anthro of canine and human, she is of 5 feet and 2 inches, has perky b-cup breasts, soft pink nipples, fingernails are painted red, round robust butt, ears are covered behind hair and the corners of ears are pointed. She also has light red paw pads which are incredibly soft and smooth.

In personality, Purah is shown to be playful and mischievous. She has a habit of posing like she's having her picture taken and saying "Snap". Her behavior resembles, and is apparently modelled after, girls in today's social media based culture which fits with her role restoring the Camera Rune which allows the Sheikah Slate to function similarly to modern day smartphones. She is also somewhat vain which is one of her reasons behind her anti-aging research and even obsesses about a pimple when she regresses back to a teenager going through puberty though it is stated that her mental state had regressed to that of a teenager due to hormones. When happy or before doing something important or before taking a picture, is very proud and unashamed of her body, especially loves showing off her breasts, brings her notepad with her wherever she goes. She is technically the smartest person alive, is not afraid to be standing in the middle of a war zone or near a fight, isn’t experienced in combat but knows how to operate several sheikah weapons. She likes to pose by holding her hands to the sides of her eyes in a specific hand gesture, the hand gesture she likes to hold involves her extending her index finger as well as her pinkie and thumb, while keeping her middle and ring fingers down, symbol is reminiscent of the sign language symbol for I love you. She also holds this pose with one or both hands to her eyes with her index fingers just above her eyes, which will result with her always utter her catchphrase of Click Snap!
