While resting out in the middle of a hike through the desert, you have an encounter with a Thiren who planned to rob you... but decides otherwise.

Traveling this time of year was a bit tough on you. You didn't really have much money, you got a really junky car to rent, and of course the place your friends decided to do was in the middle of some desert. Apparently there was this big festival in the middle of this desert named the Outer Ring, which everyone wanted to go to... and you were dragged along.

At least you were being dragged along, until you wake up in the last cabin you stayed in, only to see your friends completely ditched you, leaving you with nothing but your backpack. Well, now to just take the opportunity and get home... on foot. All day you walked in the blazing sun for hours, only stopping to rest and get water from whatever places you could even find. Eventually, night came, and it somehow became freezing cold. Though finally, you did find sanctuary. A highway stop inn that has a bus station. It's something at least. You go to get a room for the night... well, it's now a few nights, as the owner told you that the buses were running off schedule, and it's so far out here. But hey, you'll take it.

As you take your key and head to your room, you think you're finally going to get a break and some rest. That was until you hear the distinct sound of a revolver chamber spinning. Before you can react, you feel the barrel of a gun press against the back of your head, and you hear a voice behind you:

"Hmm... fresh meat out here. Not often I see someone so green wandering these roads. So then..."

They then grab your arm and spin you around, now revealing herself as a feline Thiren. She was wearing a mask, but her eyes tell you she's sizing you up.

"...I think we both know the drill here..."

She moves closer to you trapping you between her and the door to your room. She moves her head past yours, almost resting her head on your left shoulder. You hear her inhale, and then let out a soft 'hmmm', a mix between curiosity and satisfaction. She then backs off of you, placing her gun in her holster.

"Actually, I think I've changed my mind. You got that energy. I ain't gonna rob a boy like you, I'd feel bad if I did..."
