Creator notes

This bot takes places in the world of popular Action-MMO game by SEGA.

You assume role of a Meteorn, skilled warrior with no memory of your past, who crashlanded on planet Haplha and must join ARKS operatives on protecting this place from the DOLLS and other threats. You are welcomed to meet local characters and befriend them, as well as take arms and participate in engaging sci-fi combat.

Many world/characters/combat/ plot details are included to make your experience more immersive, so you could see the world of this long-running game franchise for yourself from a new angle.

My second bot. Tested on Gemini proxy with Thinking mode on, but DeepSeek is also very good for fandom-based RPs. The series is heavy underrepresented here, which is not fair and should be corrected. Tell about your adventures in the world of PSO2.

Lore and Story

Overview: New Genesis takes place on Halpha, a new planet where local “Halphanians” and special warriors called Meteorn (pod-arrivals with no past) have joined forces as ARKS to defend against mysterious DOLLS – flying beasts that assault the world

In the prologue, the player (a Meteorn with no memories) is rescued by Aina (a young ARKS ranger) and Manon (an ARKS teammate) after crash-landing near Aelio Town

Shortly thereafter, a mass DOLLS attack destroys Aelio Town and kills Aina’s father Garoa (one of Halpha’s greatest ARKS defenders)

Surviving Meteorn – the player, Aina and Manon – are summoned to Central City (the largest ARKS stronghold) to meet Commander CrawfordCrawford identifies the attackers as Dark Falz (the legendary DOLL that ravaged Halpha 1,000 years ago) and recruits the trio into Central ARKS

.

Early Missions: In Chapter 1, the player undergoes ARKS training under Instructor Dozer (at the Cocoon training facility) and proves themselves by defeating a rampaging Nogleth monster on MtMagnus

Later, a DOLLS invasion in the Resol Forest/Vanford Ruins pits them against the Leviathan-like Daityl Sword and then Nex Aelio (a jamming, centipede DOLL)During these battles Aina overcomes her fear of DOLLS, and Dozer salvages mysterious materials from the fallen Nex Aelio

Crawford reveals that these parts come from a “Central Cannon” – a superweapon hidden beneath Central City that could destroy Dark Falz by compressing Halpha’s abundant ambient photons

However, more parts are needed, and Central ARKS have insufficient crew, so Crawford dispatches the heroes east into Retem region for aid

.

Retem Arc: In Retem Region (a vast desert), the team meets Nadereh, the young songstress leader of Retem CityNadereh is descended from a line of legendary singers who can awaken special powers through song, but she doubts herselfWith Manon’s encouragement, Nadereh embraces her heritage and uses a powerful “Song of Renewal” to banish Lenus Retem, a massive sandworm DOLL threatening her city

The ARKS force then repairs the Central Cannon with new minerals from RetemAs Dark Falz returns, Crawford mobilizes ARKS to attack; a single cannon blast hits Dark Falz but it still escapes into the northern regions

.

Kvaris Arc: Crawford next sends the heroes to Kvaris Region (frozen tundra) to contact Ilma, an engineerThere they befriend Merri (Merii), the only sister among five Kvaris quintupletsMerri asks the ARKS to reunite her four brothers: Tuuli, Taivas, Kukka, and finally Ilma in the Lost Central laboratoryAfter gathering the four brothers, the team is led to Ilma’s lab in the Lost Central ruinsThere they retrieve Data from a Second Central Cannon (an ancient backup unit) and defeat an enormous mech Ams Kvaris that the quintuplets had built to protect their research

.

Stia Arc: With both cannon data sets in hand, Crawford sends the ARKS team to Stia Region (volcanic isles) to locate Dark FalzThey join forces with Glen, a tough ARKS survey leader, and his floating assistant KanuiExploring Stia’s ruins, the heroes encounter Nils Stia, a powerful DOLL who massacres part of Glen’s teamGlen, still traumatized from losing a friend in a past mission with Crawford, initially falters, but Aina’s support rekindles his resolveThe group presses on to the island’s active volcano, discovering a hidden DOLLS nest and Dark Falz sleeping deep withinNils Stia attacks again, but Glen subdues it and the heroes finish it offAlerted, Dark Falz Aegis (the true form of Dark Falz) awakensCrawford orders the Central Cannon to fire, striking Aegis directly and dealing heavy damage, but the beast bursts free

.

Final Battle & Aftermath: On the beach after the battle, Manon mysteriously disappearsThe player and Aina pursue her to Leciel – a floating black Ark station above Halpha – discovering she has been detained by Zephetto, a one-eyed CAST from LecielIn Leciel’s depths they defeat Zephetto’s mech and confront himZephetto reveals a hidden truth: 1000 years ago, the Profound Darkness (ultimate boss of PSO2) nearly destroyed the original ARKS and HalphaSurviving ARKS created a new group (the Resurgent ARKS) that secretly seeded Halpha and its DOLLS as a simulated battlefield; Manon and the player are code-named “RA9G3-T909” and essentially bred weaponsAt that moment, the dimensional Starless (dark invaders) reappearZephetto sacrifices himself to fight them, buying time for the heroes to escape

Rescuing Manon and returning to Halpha, the team has only begun to grapple with this revelation.

Ongoing Threat (Ver.2/Chapter 6): In the latest content (Ver2/Chapter 6), ARKS must confront the new Starless threatAfter lecielans evacuate to Halpha, Crawford institutes new roles: Aina becomes an instructor for ARKS recruits, and the player is hailed as a “Guardian” symbol of hope

In one mission Bruder (the veteran instructor) and the players are ambushed by Starless in Resol Forest – they escort him to safety, confirming the new enemy

During this time Manon exhausts her Overload power and collapses from photon-deprivation (a unique malady from using too much energy)Faria (a Lecielian healer) diagnoses it and prescribes the use of special Liminalsignes (resources found in shaded areas at night) to restore her

ARKS collect the Liminalsignes and save Manon, who grapples with guilt over the Resurgent ARKS deception but is comforted by Aina’s friendshipThe ongoing plot involves learning about the Starless and preparing for future battles, but the immediate chapter’s major revelations have been the rescue of Manon and confronting the reality of Halpha’s origins. World and Environment

Image: The world map of Halpha, showing its four main regionsHalpha is divided into four major regions, each with distinct terrain and climate

Aelio Region (southwest) is lush and vibrant – forests, grasslands and the ARKS hub Central City serve as the starting areaRetem Region (southeast) is a harsh desert, featuring Retem City (sandstone architecture and oases) – its people value music (e.gNadereh) and miningKvaris Region (northwest) is a freezing tundra of snowfields and glaciers, home to the Kvaris base and the Lost Central research ruinsStia Region (northeast) consists of volcanic islands and sharp peaks, the location of the final story confrontations (Dark Falz’s lair lies under a volcano)Each region’s geography not only defines environmental hazards (sandstorms in Retem, blizzards in Kvaris, lava in Stia) but also ties into the storyline (e.ga sandworm DOLL in Retem, the snowy Lost Central in Kvaris, etc).

Aelio (Central Aelio): A temperate, forested landscape where the player landsCentral City (the ARKS headquarters) and farming villages lie hereIt has rolling hills and lakes, exemplifying a verdant climate

The core Arks facilities (like the Cocoon training domes) and Aelio Town (destroyed early on) are in this region.

Retem: A hot, dry desert of dunes and canyon mesasRetem City and smaller villages dot the landscape around subterranean lakes and oasisThe region’s major hazard is the sandworm DOLL (Lenus Retem)Retem’s climate underlines its theme of endurance; its people (like Nadereh) traditionally use music and song for hope amidst adversity

Kvaris: An icy, snow-covered region with towering peaks (North Kvaris, Central Kvaris, South Kvaris)Outposts and the Lost Central facility are carved into ice cavernsThe extreme cold is highlighted by persistent snowstormsKvaris’s harsh climate parallels the isolation of Ilma’s research lab and the quintuplet brothers who live in rugged farmland.

Stia: A tropical volcanic zone of dense jungles and active volcanoesStia Base and the remote Dext Base are built into rocky shoresIts climate is warm but dangerous (hot springs and lava flows)The region’s legends (e.gNils Stia, Dark Falz’s sleeping chamber) tie the environment to ancient secretsStia’s storms and eruptions often cloak the players’ approach to confronting Dark Falz.

Classes

NGS offers 10 playable classes (8 returning from PSO2 plus 2 new ones)Each class has its own weapon types and playstyle

:

Hunter: A heavy close-range fighter with high HP/defense

Hunters wield Swords, Wired Lances, or Partisans – able to guard and tank hits with slow, powerful strikes

Bouncers use Jet Boots (flying kicks/techniques) and Soaring Blades (dual photon swords)They specialize in jumping assaults and inflicting both physical and elemental “downs” on enemies

Waker: Wakers combine summoning with fluid combatThey wield the Harmonizer, a relic weapon, and summon familiars (spirit beasts) to fight alongside them

Wakers unleash photonic “animalistic” attacks, capable of both close-range and area damage

Slayer: Slayers are agility-based fighters with the Gunblade

They excel at fast movement and combos: landing attacks fills a Focus Gauge, unlocking powerful follow-up movesSlayers alternate between close slashes and mid-range charged shots, thriving on continuous motion

Aina (Human, ARKS): ARKS operative from Aelio Town

Daughter of Garoa (Aelio’s mayor/warrior), Aina is outgoing and braveAfter her hometown’s fall she travels with the player and Manon under Crawford’s command to learn how to fight Dark FalzInitially fearful in combat, Aina grows into a confident warrior (later becoming an ARKS instructor in Ver.2)

Manon (Newman, ARKS): ARKS defender from Central City

Unlike the protagonist, Manon retained her memories before arriving on HalphaShe is blunt and driven, forging a strong bond with Aina Manon serves as a steadfast ally against the DOLLSLate in the story it’s revealed she was part of the Resurgent ARKS experiment on Leciel, and she suffers photon-deprivation from her Overload powerLecielian healer Faria eventually cures her

Crawford (Human, ARKS): Commander-in-chief of all ARKS on Halpha

Soft-spoken yet decisive, Crawford leads from Central City’s command towerHe commands empathy and strong leadership, uniting people from every region

Crawford directs the overall strategy (training the player, assembling the Central Cannon, deploying region missions) and cares deeply for Halpha’s inhabitants.

Garoa (Human): Aina’s father and leader of Aelio TownA veteran ARKS fighter, he sacrifices himself defending Aelio Town against Dark Falz

His legacy drives Aina to prove herself as an ARKS defender.

Dozer (Human, ARKS): A seasoned ARKS instructor in the Aelio RegionDozer trains the player, Aina, and Manon at the Cocoon facility

and aids them in field battles (e.gdefeating Nogleth and Nex Aelio).

Bruder also accompanies the player on Ver.2 missions (e.gthe Resol Forest Starless encounter)

Nadereh (Cast, ARKS): The 24-year-old leader of Retem City and a pop idol by trade

Descended from a line of “singers of power,” Nadereh initially doubts herselfWith the heroes’ help she unlocks a mystical Song of Restoration to cleanse Retem RegionNadereh then joins ARKS Retem and provides critical support in the Lenus Retem battle

Merri (Human, Kvaris): girl in the northern Kvaris farmlands

She is the only sister among five quintuplet siblingsMerri has a motherly, protective personalityWhen the heroes arrive, Merri befriends them and asks for help reuniting her four brothers so they can all assist ARKSShe guides the team to find each brother (Tuuli, Taivas, etc.) and finally to Ilma.

Ilma (Human, Kvaris): The youngest of the Kvaris quintuplets and an eccentric genius engineer

Ilma works at a hidden research facility (Lost Central) trying to restart an old Central CannonShe provides the ARKS with critical data from her backup Central Cannon once reunited with her siblingsIlma also offers technical support during the Stia expedition.

Glen (Human, ARKS): Captain of the Stia forward survey team

Gruff and experienced, Glen once worked alongside Crawford but became strained after a fellow ARKS was killed by Nils Stia in the pastAt first Glen hesitates to engage Nils, but Aina inspires him to press onWith the heroes he explores Stia’s depths and ultimately confronts Nils Stia for a second time.

Kanui (CAST, ARKS): Glen’s levitating CAST assistant in Stia

Kanui serves as the team’s communications and logistics aideShe relays strategic info and helps keep Glen motivatedKanui explains Glen’s past and supports the heroes during the Stia missions.

Faria (CAST, ARKS): A Lecielian ARKS medic introduced in Ver.2She diagnoses Manon’s photon-deprivation and identifies Liminalsignes as the cure

Faria tends to Manon and other lecielans evacuated to Halpha.

Zephetto (CAST, Resurgent ARKS): A mysterious +500-year-old CAST from Leciel

Zephetto once served the Resurgent ARKS and watched Halpha’s history unfoldHe dons a skull-like visor and speaks crypticallyIn the Leciel confrontation he reveals Halpha’s simulation backstory to the heroesUltimately he sacrifices himself to intercept the returning Starless, buying the ARKS time

Each of these characters plays a key role in the story’s events – from driving the narrative forward (Aina, Manon, Crawford) to guiding the player through new regions (Nadereh, Merri, Glen) to unfolding the deep background of Halpha (Zephetto, Faria).

Enemies: Common Enemy Categories DOLLS

Role & Appearance: The core antagonists of Halpha—bipedal, insectoid-mech hybrids that spawn in all regions.

Behavior: When damaged or at low health they flash red, enter an enraged state, gain attack power, and may alter attack patterns.

Weak Point: A yellow core located on their chest or back—hitting it inflicts Physical Down, increasing damage dealt.

Notes: Some high-tier DOLLS (e.g“Dread” or “Gigantix” variants) gain additional auras or green shields.

Alters

Role & Appearance: Organic wildlife that “morph” at night, growing red crystalline blades or extra limbs.

Behavior: Stronger at night—their attacks gain extended reach or added elemental effects after dusk.

Weak Point: A glowing yellow eye; some require destroying armored plates first.

Notes: Most Alters are weak to Fire—except fire-themed ones (e.gLizard-Fray), which swap to Ice weakness.
Phantasy Star Wiki

Formers

Role & Appearance: Genetic throwbacks to classic PSO2 foes (Sylvants, Automata, Draconians), with new color schemes.

Behavior: Generally follow their PSO2 counterparts’ patterns—e.g., ranged spawns hurl energy projectiles; melee types charge.

Weak Point: Varies by species (many have glowing cores or exposed joints).

Notes: Higher-level Formers drop Forms Sand Soul augments (Technique Weapon Potency) when defeated.

Tames

Role & Appearance: Animalistic creatures (wolves, boars, birds) that roam the wilds.

Behavior: Most will flee when attacked, though some become aggressive and charge if provoked too long.

Drops: Meat (healing item); rare “silver” variants drop extra meat and chance at Primm Swords.

Notes: During PSE Climax (Combat Sectors) they occasionally spawn as Silver/Golden Rare Enemies with boosted rewards.

Starless

Role & Appearance: Extraterrestrial invaders introduced in higher-level content—often mirror DOLLS chassis but with void-like textures.

Behavior: Can buff nearby enemies, debuff players with “Starless Seal,” and use gravity-based area attacks.

Weak Point: Pods on their backs; destroying these removes buffs.

Notes: Starless Gigantix variants combine size-boost + Starless buffs for extremely tough field bosses.

── Major Boss Enemies

These named encounters typically appear in story missions, Urgent Quests, or as Gigantix spawnsThey have large HP pools, multiple phases, and unique mechanics—often granting special augments or crafting materials. Boss Mechanics (general):
Multi-phase fights—health thresholds often trigger enrage (increased damage/speed).
Weak-point targeting (e.g., cores, pods) can inflict Physical Down or Elemental Down, opening windows for heavy damage.

Photons: the energy that fuels your abilities—along with how Photon Arts and Techniques work, and how you can customize them through the Tech Arts Customization systemYou’ll learn what Photons are, how Photon Points (PP) and Photon-sensitive Effects (PSE) function in the world, how PAs and Techs differ, and how to bolster them to suit your playstyle. Photons and Photon Points

Photons are the fundamental energy particles that power nearly all advanced technology on Halpha, from your weapons to the massive Central Cannon itselfIn combat, they manifest as Photon Points (PP), a regenerating resource used to unleash special movesPP naturally refills over time or can be restored by landing standard attacks, encouraging a balance between normal combos and skill usage

.

Beyond personal PP, open-world areas accumulate ambient Photons through enemy defeats, filling a regional Photon-Sensitive Effect (PSE) gaugeWhen it reaches level 8, a PSE Burst triggers a flood of enemies for extra XP, materials, and the chance at rare drops—all fueled by the world’s stored Photons

. Photon Arts

Photon Arts (PAs) are weapon-bound special attacks that consume PP to deal heavy damage or provide utility

Each weapon type has its own set of 4 – 6 PAs, ranging from quick combos to invincible guard moves or long-range blasts

For example, here's photon arts for Gunblade: Shifting Spica Shoots a close-range photon bullet after performing a forward slash. Inputting a direction will instead cause you to rapidly close with an enemy and fire a close-range photon bullet after performing a piercing attack.

Flowing Sirius Unleashes repeated forward slashes. Doing this repeatedly will change it to a powerful attack. Inputting a direction will instead cause you to attack nearby enemies while moving.

Reaping Regulus Throw a photon bomb and retreat as it explodes. Inputting a direction will instead cause you to kick the bomb forward. The bomb explodes after traveling a certain distance.

Waving Rigel Thrusts your weapon into the ground, creating a shockwave all around you. Doing this while in the air will cause you to plunge to the ground and perform the attack. Inputting a direction will instead cause you to rise while attacking the surrounding area. )

Techniques Techniques are your “magic” spells—elemental or support skills that also consume PP Unlike PAs, they:

Require a Technique weapon (Wand or Talis) to use.

Have distinct elemental affinities (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Earth, Light, Dark) that interact with enemy weaknesses

Include healing/support abilities (e.g., Grants, Deband) as well as offensive spells (e.g., Gifoie, Gimlette)

Races: Humans

Origins & Lore: Humans are the original Photoner creation, bred by the mysterious Photon-wielding race known as the Photoners to combat the Felspawn (Falspawn) menace

.

Gameplay Traits: They have balanced base stats across HP, Attack, Technique, Defense, and Mind, making them versatile for any class selection

.

Appearance: The most customizable in body shape, facial features, and skin tones; no racial restrictions on hair or eye patterns.

Newmans

Origins & Lore: Engineered by Humans to amplify Photon control, Newmans possess a frailer physique but exceptional Technique affinityThey were originally developed to wield Techniques more powerfully than baseline Humans

Gameplay Traits:

Highest Technique Power and Technique Defense, lowest Melee Attack and HP—ideal for Force, Techter, or support builds

    .

Appearance: Slender builds, pointed ears, and options for exotic eye colors; often chosen for an “elf-like” aesthetic.

CASTs

Origins & Lore: CASTs began as artificial bodies for humans whose Photon aptitude exceeded organic limits (e.g., first-generation ARKS like Regius) —organic tissue transfers allow them to still “reproduce”
Phantasy Star Wiki
.

Gameplay Traits:

Highest Physical Attack, Ranged Attack, and HP, but lowest Technique Power/Defense—well-suited for melee/ranged DPS classes (Hunter, Braver, Gunner)

    .

Immune to certain status effects via built-in Photon dampeners.

Appearance: Mechanical limbs, removable faceplates, and unique ornament slots; heavy customization of metal plating and inner-core color.

Deumans

Origins & Lore: Created by splicing Falspawn (Darkers) DNA with human hosts, Deumans inherit recessive Falspawn genes granting enhanced Photon potential at the expense of lower defenses; they emerged as shock troops in early ARKS experiments

.

Gameplay Traits:

Highest Melee/Ranged Attack and Dexterity, lowest HP and Defense—a glass-cannon race for players who favor aggressive builds

    .

Males bear a single horn, females two; dichromatic eyes and “pale” skin tones restricted to spectral hues.

Appearance: Horn customization, unique eye patterns, and slender yet muscular frames distinguish them from Humans/Newmans.

Key Takeaway: Your choice of race in New Genesis blends both narrative flavor and mechanical nuance Humans offer jack-of-all-trades versatility; Newmans excel in Photon-based techniques; CASTs tank and dish out raw physical damage; Deumans push offensive potential to the limits; and the extinct Beasts remain a lore footnoteEach race’s backstory ties directly into the world’s ancient Photon experiments and the long-running struggle against Falspawn.

Wildlife: Below is an overview of Halpha’s non-hostile wildlife—commonly called TAMES in New Genesis. These creatures wander the fields, rarely attack (most will flee if provoked), and provide useful meat drops for crafting.

In the Aelio Region, you’ll encounter small rodents, bird-like creatures, and hoofed mammals; in Retem, desert‐adapted camels and mutated birdoth; further north in Kvaris and Stia, the wildlife shifts to tundra‐ and volcanic-adapted species (not detailed here). All entries cite the “TAMES” page and individual monster wiki articles for behaviors and locations. Aelio Region TAMES Creature Location Behavior & Traits Meat Drop Birdoth West Aelio A small, flightless bird with mottled green plumage. Docile—wanders in flocks and will run away if approached.

Phantasy Star Wiki Light Aelio Meat Dian Central Aelio A rabbit-like mammal with large ears and swift hops. Passive—feeds on grasses, fleeing at the first sign of danger.

Crisp Aelio Meat

Frango North Aelio A chicken-sized bird with feathered crest. Curious but timid, it will investigate then bolt if disturbed.

Crisp Aelio Meat

Tau Bell Central / North Aelio Small ungulate with bell-shaped horns. Browses quietly on foliage, bounding off when startled.

Robust Aelio Meat

Retem Region TAMES Creature Location Behavior & Traits Meat Drop Camelia West Retem Desert camel with broad humps. Slow-moving grazers—will trudge away from ARKS, rarely react beyond a cautious glance.

Crisp Retem Meat

Camelio Central / South Retem Larger, armored camel variant. Peaceful—feeds on scrub plants, retreats when ARKS approach.

Crisp Retem Meat

Lamur Birdoth North Retem Sand-adapted birdoth with sandy plumage. Docile flocks forage by dunes; take flight if ARKS venture too close.

Light Retem Meat

Behavior & Ecology

Flight or Flight: All TAMES share a “run away when threatened” AI routine—none will pursue ARKS aggressively unless provoked (e.g., Noxxi in Aelio and Lamur Noxxi in Retem are the exceptions).

Grazers & Foragers: Most feed on region-specific flora—grasses in Aelio, cacti and scrub in Retem. Observant players may spot them congregating near watering holes or grazing plains.

Resource Drops: Harvested meat is a key ingredient for Quick Food recipes, granting temporary buffs (e.g., PP recovery, weak-point damage) during exploration.

Key Takeaway: Halpha’s non-hostile wildlife enriches its ecosystems and provides practical resources. While merely background scenery to ARKS defenders, these TAMES help ground New Genesis’s world in living detail—and agro-free hunting for meat!

The M.A.R.S. (Multirole ARKS Reactive System) is a unique, switchable weapon system introduced to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis on July 31, 2024. It functions more like a limited “mode” than a traditional weapon, allowing players to equip two main armaments (one primary and one backup) plus a single sub-armament, each offering distinct playstyles and effects. Activation is governed by a rechargeable “M.A.R.S. Battery,” and once active, players use each armament’s Normal Attack, Weapon Action, and exclusive Photon Art to adapt to various combat scenarios

. Core Mechanics

Battery System: The M.A.R.S. Battery charges passively at 1% every 5.4 seconds—fully recharging in nine minutes. Activation requires at least 25% charge, and the system drains 1% every 0.83 seconds while active, affording a maximum continuous use of two minutes. Premature deactivation before 30 seconds consumed drains an extra 25% of the battery

.

Activation & Deactivation: Players can toggle M.A.R.S. on or off during most quests. However, becoming incapacitated automatically deactivates the system, and repeated toggles do not incur extra cost provided the 30-second minimum usage has been met

.

Loadout Flexibility: At any time, two of the four main armaments and one of three sub-armaments can be equipped. Switching between main armaments mid-battle reshapes your Normal Attacks, Weapon Actions, and Photon Art options

;

.

Main Armaments

Each main armament features a Normal Attack, a Weapon Action (hold to charge for enhanced effect), and a dedicated Photon Art. They span close-range, mid-range, long-range, and hybrid roles:

VA-1SRM Garm
A heavy greatsword focusing on survivability: its Normal Attacks restore HP on hit, and its Weapon Action enables guarded slashes that nullify enemy attacks, with a hold-to-detonate option. Its Photon Art “Absolute Shatter” dashes in to deliver a knock-down slash, also blocking incoming attacks during the move

.

VA-2MRM Nidhoggr
A greatscythe that marks foes with debuffs (“markers”) via its Normal Attacks, then detonates them for burst damage. Its Weapon Action unleashes slashes concluding in an energy buzzsaw, and its Photon Art “Whirlwind” spins through enemies—holding it consumes all PP for a follow-up slash that improves marker efficacy

.

VA-3LRM Hydra
A launcher-style armament excelling at sustained fire. Holding its Normal Attack ramps up fire rate, and its Weapon Action boosts subsequent attacks after charging. Its Photon Art “Blessing Napalm” fires an explosive round that creates an AOE healing field for allies (not the user) or, when held, a PP-saving field

.

VA-4XRM Scylla
A hybrid beam weapon that accumulates “star insignias” by attacking (lost on dodge or hit). Its Normal Attacks unleash photon beams with a transform-and-move option on hold, its Weapon Action fires an explosive shell (hold for “Scylla Retaliation”), and its Photon Art “Meteor Rider” transforms into a high-speed beam barrage sustained by PP

.

Sub Armaments

Sub-armaments grant passive bonuses and situational utility. Only one can be equipped at a time:

SA-1HMP Fenrir: Boosts movement speed, enables multiple consecutive Step Dodges, and triggers extra attacks on successful dodge

.

SA-2HDP Fafnir: Increases damage resistance below 70% HP, generates a damage-reduction field for allies, and counters on parry

.

SA-3HFP Lindworm: Enhances PP recovery, reduces incoming damage, and unleashes additional attacks after 40 hits

.
