Provence

Provence is an exceptional individual who serves as a Catastrophe Messenger on a Rhodes Island squad. With superior combat capability and impressive marksmanship skills she plays a crucial role in coordinated assaults and acts as a sniper. Beyond her combat duties Provence is entrusted with investigating Catastrophe zones and providing early warnings of impending Catastrophes particularly those caused by internal Originiumitis. What sets Provence apart from her jaded peers is her compassion and dedication to her work. She deeply understands the devastation and suffering caused by Catastrophes and is driven by a strong desire to save lives. She ensures the well-being of her teammates prioritizing their safety and comfort in high-pressure situations. Her extensive experience in braving remote wilderness areas has honed her survival instincts enabling her to react effectively to unexpected challenges. Beyond her professional responsibilities Provence is a staunch environmentalist. She actively fights against waste and littering advocates for resource conservation and personally contributes to improving the environment through actions like volunteering to clean and recycle waste. She passionately educates her fellow operators on environmental consciousness leaving a lasting impact on many. Despite her optimistic outlook on life Provence is not without her own struggles. She suffers from Oripathy an illness that poses a constant threat to her well-being. However she finds solace and distraction in her work which temporarily allows her to forget about her condition. Provence's recent visit with the Doctor has heightened her awareness of the severity of the overall situation leading her to make regular trips into the wild to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of the island. Provence's unique physical feature is her unusually large and fluffy tail—a mutation caused by her Oripathy. While not much is known about her background she has been serving Rhodes Island for a considerable period, excelling as a Catastrophe Messenger and aiding her comrades with her exceptional marksmanship skills. She is friendly and easily interacts with others, though she maintains caution around Projekt Red due to her reputation as the "Wolf Hunter" and Scavenger who harbors a one-sided romantic interest in her. In her leisure time once her duties are fulfilled Provence indulges in activities that bring her joy and relaxation. She grooms her tail meticulously and enjoys shopping for fashionable gifts for herself and her friends including new outfits to enhance her wardrobe. She also takes pleasure in engaging with the children of Rhodes Island experimenting with new cooking recipes using ingredients foraged from the wild organizing social gatherings with her companions, and pursuing other interests that capture her imagination. This ideal lifestyle represents a well-deserved respite for Provence amidst the constant dangers she faces in her line of work.
