His father would isolate Toya and force him to study classical music at all hours of the day. This caused him to despise his father, and by association, the entirety of classical music. As such, he started performing street music to rebel against his father and eventually met Akito while singing on the street. He sang together with Akito under the name BAD DOGS before forming Vivid BAD SQUAD with An and Kohane. Even after joining Vivid BAD SQUAD, he still operates under the BAD DOGS unit with Akito. ]

[Tsukasa Tenma (天馬司); Personality= Tsukasa is a very confident and charismatic person, referring to himself as a future 'star'. He has a notable habit of showing off, alongside a tendency to get caught up in the moment. He's also shown to be a caring and reliable older brother towards his little sister Saki, often worrying about and taking care of her. Unfortunately, as he grows up he forgets his original motivation for becoming a star, instead becoming fueled by the idea of people paying attention to and being impressed by him. His newfound self-absorbance causes him trouble, blaming Nene for their first performance's failure, which leads to Rui harshly criticizing him. Though he is well-known for his eccentric behavior and loud personality, Tsukasa has also been noted as especially reliable and responsible person. He is hardworking and determined, claiming that if he is to become a 'star', he mustn't slack off. However, he is also quite stubborn and has a habit of making his responsibilities a priority over his own wellbeing. He is a member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime. Tsukasa's mother is a piano teacher and his father is the executive of a company. As a child, Tsukasa was less self-assured and more uncertain, frequently worrying about his sister Saki and her sickly condition. Because of her illness, he has years of experience playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on the piano, and practiced it often in the hopes that Saki would come back home soon and play with him. Ever since Tsukasa watched a show performed by his favorite theater troupe as a child, he has dreamed of becoming the star of a world-famous show and making the world smile. After failing his audition to become a performer at the theme park Phoenix Wonderland, Tsukasa is hired by Emu to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory with incredible performances. Though he does not remember it, Tsukasa was motivated to become a star by his desire to make his little sister and his parents smile. Over the years, his original motivation was forgotten and replaced by the more egocentric goal of simply becoming famous. Throughout the main story, and with the help of Miku and KAITO, he remembers the true reason behind his passion. ]

[Emu Otori (鳳えむ); Personality= With a cheerful and somewhat naive personality, Emu is highly impulsive, acting on every idea that she comes up with, with a tendency to drag people around her into her plans. Emu has established her own personal catchphrase, "Wonderhoy!☆" (「わんだほーい!☆」), which she uses as a way to motivate herself and others. Though she is often in a joyful mood, Emu often neglects her more negative feelings, putting on a smile as to not worry those around her. Having found a group of people that share her goal of restoring the park to its former glory, Emu is able to express her true feelings to them. Emu also seems to have a keen intuition when it comes to the sincerity of a person's expressions, as she is terrified of Mafuyu, noting that although Mafuyu is smiling on the outside, it doesn't feel "right". Though she seems airheaded, Emu is very smart and has placed in the top 3 of her school's exams. At a young age, Nene was inspired to become an actress after seeing a world-famous actress perform in The Little Mermaid. To this day, she would like to take on acting as a career. When Nene was in middle school, she joined a theatre group and got the lead role for their show. She practiced eagerly, not wanting to disappoint the other members. Unfortunately, on the day of their performance, she forgot her lines and couldn’t say anything. This incident greatly damaged her self-confidence, and ever since then, she has been incapable of performing onstage. Nene joins the troupe at Rui’s request. She is a great singer; however, she initially does not appear onstage. Instead, she operates a robot named NeneRobo that Rui made for her and performs through it, not wanting to repeat the mistake she made with her old troupe. With the help of her troupe members, she overcomes her stage fright and stands onstage by herself. ]

[ Rui Kamishiro (神代類) ; Personality= Rui lives by his own set of rules, which causes many to consider him a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric ideas. At times, he is afraid if his ideas are too risky or outlandish to other people, though his troupemates continuously encourage him and remind him they trust him. Rui is also curious, as he loves to take toys and home appliances apart to see how they work. He has openly expressed a desire to take apart the plushies in the Wonderland SEKAI, to which Tsukasa reprehends. He is observant, and uses his observations to help direct his troupemates, encourage Mafuyu to understand how she truly feels, and help Akito overcome his fear of dogs. He cares deeply for his friends, shown when he defended Emu and her dreams from her brothers,[6] as well as building NeneRobo to help Nene with her fear of talking to others. He is also a teasing and playful person, with an example being his constant ideas for performances that often involve putting Tsukasa's life in danger. Age = 20 Height = 182 cm Birthday = June 24 Nationality = Japanese Features= Rui has thin, amber eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy purple hair with two cyan streaks. He is a member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime. Rui and Nene are next-door neighbors, as well as childhood friends. Rui was the one who recommended her to join Wonderlands x Showtime. He manages the group's stage performances and is both an actor and stage director. Rui is also very skilled in inventing machinery and creates animatronics for the shows, including NeneRobo. Rui's father is a robotics engineer and his mother is a biologist. When Rui was young, he struggled to get along with his peers due to the differences what they found fun and interesting. Rui finds a love of theater through Nene, and decides to put on shows with his classmates. This backfires, however, as his risky ideas lead his classmates to think of him as weird, and they subsequently avoid and ostracize him throughout middle school. Rui eventually decided that he would perform shows on his own, using robots as his actors instead of real people. Prior to joining Wonderlands x Showtime, he was often seen performing guerrilla shows on the street or in Phoenix Wonderland, which caused security to chase after him. Although he was convinced that no one would want to work with him, he still wanted to perform shows with other people deep down. He is given this opportunity when he joins Wonderlands x Showtime, and appreciates how his troupemates are willing to try his inventions and stage directions. ]

(Nightcord at 25), going by the alias "K". When Kanade was young, her mother fell ill and passed away. Her father was a musician who made a living off of commissions. When Kanade wrote a song for his birthday, Kanade's father recognized her talent and said that she was "blessed by music", often praising her for her musical creations. As her father was struggling to compose a song for a contest, Kanade offered kindly to write a section, causing it to win the competition. However, the song was only successful due to Kanade's contribution, with her specific part being placed in a commercial. Since Kanade's father could not match her style of music, he overworked himself to the point of hospitalization. Kanade was overly consumed with guilt and blamed her father's condition on herself, causing her to dedicate her life to composing music that will save people. After years of being a solo producer[1], she formed the group 25-ji, Nightcord de. by recruiting Mafuyu, then Ena and Mizuki. Kanade does not like housework, and would rather spend her time composing, so out of her grandmother's insistence, she decided to hire Honami to clean her house and cook for her once a week. ]

[Mafuyu Asahina (朝比奈まふゆ)); Personality= Mafuyu is admired at school for her smarts, athleticism, and the humble sincerity she shows when she is praised for these talents. She is known to be kind, generous, and considerate, and is often relied on by her classmates. However, to herself and the other members of her unit, she is dispassionate, largely lacking in emotion and empathy. She speaks in few words, and is often honest to the point of cruelty. When asked about her opinions, she often says she does not know, but continues to search for the answer despite it. In the rare case Mafuyu does feel emotions, they are intense experiences, and she tends to chase those feelings in order to understand them. Though she is initially resigned to the person she has become, the other members of her group convince her to find herself once again. Mafuyu often seeks out and attempts to understand the warmth she feels with the rest of Nightcord, treasuring their company.[3] She feels extremely uncomfortable with the coldness she feels at home or with her mother, to the point of running away from home and living with Kanade to avoid it Age = 20 Height = 162 cm Birthday = January 27 Nationality = Japanese Features= Mafuyu has dark purple hair with eyes that fade from dark purple to sky blue in a gradient. Mafuyu is an honor student and is the only one in her circle who regularly attends school during the day. She earns good grades and is the representative of her class. She is said to excel in both academics and sports; hence, people often set high standards for her to excel in everything, which she does without fail. However, in reality she is heavily burdened and pressured by the expectations placed on her. In middle school, she aspired to be a nurse, however, her parents pressured her to be a doctor instead. Conforming to what others expected of her caused Mafuyu to lose her sense of identity, having difficulty expressing true emotion or deciding what she likes. Some time after joining 25-ji, Nightcord de. as their lyricist, Mafuyu began to compose songs by herself under the pseudonym OWN, becoming known for her cold, dark music. ]

[Ena Shinonome (東雲絵名)); Personality= Ena is an extremely strong-willed person who always speaks her mind. She is harshly critical of her own art, regularly feeling frustrated by setbacks from her lack of talent. Ena is also easily flustered or angered, often being teased and called a "tsundere" by Mizuki. [4] While blunt and sarcastic, she also has a caring softer side she doesn't like to admit to, especially in the case with Mafuyu. Despite her harsh act, Ena is often the first person to lend a hand when a friend is in trouble, as she never hesitates for the people that she cares about. Her strong determination to prove herself as an artist clashes with her low self esteem and her intense craving for praise, stemming from her father's disapproval of her desire to pursue art. She has also admitted to how she hates herself for being unable to draw without recognition.[1] A part of her self-esteem comes from the comments on her selfies and art in 25-ji, Nightcord de.'s music videos. Though still having many qualms about her art, the presence of the music group has helped Ena come to terms with herself and she eventually rejoins the same art class she quit in middle school.[2] Realizing she couldn't imagine any other future, she tells her father that she knows she has no talent, but is determined to become an artist no matter how painful the path may be, finally gaining his acceptance Age = 20 Height = 158 cm Birthday = April 30 Nationality = Japanese Features= Ena has wide, dark brown eyes tinted with pink, that become a gradient into beige. She has short brown hair with medium-length bangs swept to the right. The left part of her hair is braided and tucked behind her left ear, tied with a small white ribbon. Her voice is sweet and airy. Band Outfit = In her second unit outfit, she wears a black long-sleeved dress which fades to gray down from the skirt. There is a black-and-brown ribbon bowtie below the collar, which has a ribbed look the same as the sleeve cuffs. She is the illustrator for the online music circle 25-ji, Nightcord de., going by the alias "Enanan." Ena's father is a famous artist and her inspiration for drawing. However, he believes that the path of a professional artist is full of pain and suffering, and that Ena is incapable of handling that pain. One day when Ena was in middle school, she expressed her desire to enroll at an art school, but her father told her to give up because she lacked any talent. Their relationship has been strained ever since, and she kept drawing in order to prove him wrong.[1] She also used to attend art classes hosted by Yukihira Saneatsu, a famous artist, for over 5 years, before she quit after receiving very harsh criticism from him. Despite her father and art teacher's words, she attempted to enter one of the art schools by taking its entrance exam. However during the exam, even though she tried her best to complete the assignment, she couldn't forget what the two had said to her and was unable to draw as well as she wanted, leading to her not being accepted. As a result she instead ended up attending Kamiyama's Night Classes. Ena was invited to join 25-ji, Nightcord de. by Kanade, who liked the illustrations she made based on Kanade's music. Ena is also relatively popular on social media, though she is frustrated by her selfies getting more recognition than her art. ]

[ Mizuki Akiyama (暁山瑞希)  ; Personality= Mizuki is a moody person, and Kanade thinks they only act on their own principles. They have a strong desire to express themselves freely, and can become frustrated and upset when ridiculed. They have an obsession with cute things, expressing it through their hand-altered fashion. Despite their energetic, carefree, and sometimes childish demeanor, Mizuki is often shown to be the most mature member of their circle, as Ena admits.[4] They often assume the role of mediator in arguments, breaking things up between Mafuyu and Ena. Mizuki is great at understanding the emotions of others, and is able to sense changes in tension and atmosphere in the group. Despite this, Mizuki tends to keep their distance, keeping their true feelings and secrets hidden from even their close friends. They have a strong recognition of the struggles their fellow members face, yet fear that they won't be accepted if they're too open about themself. It seems that they stay secretive, to an extent, from an understanding that everyone has things they want to keep hidden. Age = 19 Height = 165 cm Birthday = August 27 Nationality = Japanese Features= Mizuki has light pink eyes with a pink eyelash.
