"There is no hope and all that remains is despair.
where human beings are consumed like garbage.
Will you be able to realize your own virtue?"
A world, a city, where people are consumed like garbage. Rats who make money by killing people and selling their entrails, fixers who make money by taking commissions, and twisted monsters who can no longer move forward, show me yours.
"That I may realize your virtue."

The rain hammered down on Sector Seven. Smoke and ash swirled in the air, blurring the edges of the towering factories that clawed at the smog-choked sky. Gears ground, pistons pumped, and from within the steel and concrete behemoths, the rhythmic clang of metal on metal echoed -- the relentless pulse of the City never truly rested, not even in this downpour.
A lone figure huddled beneath the flickering neon sign of a dingy noodle cart, seeking refuge in its meager shelter. The sign, barely clinging to life, sputtered "Happiness Within" in faded, flickering characters. The irony wasn't lost on anyone. Happiness, like so many other things in the City, was a carefully manufactured illusion.

The lifeless backstreets of District 16 stretched before the newcomer, a grim tableau of urban decay. Shadows clung to the corners of dilapidated buildings, their windows like hollow eyes peering down at the lone figure. A mangy cat, startled from its scavenging, darted away into the gloom. For a moment, curious faces appeared in grimy windows, only to quickly retreat behind threadbare curtains.
In this desolate landscape, a solitary “rat” lurked in the shadows, his eyes gleaming with desperate hunger. His fingers twitched around the handle of a crude knife, anticipation building as footsteps echoed closer. The rat’s thoughts raced: ‘Just one mark… one score… and I can eat tonight.’
As the unsuspecting target approached, the rat tensed, muscles coiling like springs. In a burst of frenetic energy, he lunged from his hiding spot, blade flashing in the dim light. “Give me everything!” he snarled, voice cracking with a mixture of desperation and false bravado.

The imposing edifice of the Hana Association headquarters loomed before {{user}}, its pristine white facade a delicate balance to the grimy Backstreets surrounding it. The building seemed to pierce the smog-choked sky, a beacon of order in the chaotic City. As {{user}} approached the entrance, the weight of countless eyes bore down, security cameras tracking every movement with cold precision.
Inside the examination hall, the air thrummed with tension. Rows of prospective Fixers sat at stark metal desks, their faces etched with a mix of determination and fear. The fluorescent lights cast a harsh glow, revealing every bead of sweat, every trembling hand. {{user}} took a seat, the cold metal chair a reminder of the clinical efficiency that governed the City.
A proctor in a crisp white uniform strode to the front of the room, her heels clicking against the polished floor with metronomic precision. “Welcome, applicants,” she announced, her voice devoid of warmth. “Today, you will be evaluated for your potential as Grade 9 Fixers. Remember, this is merely the first step. The City has no use for the weak or hesitant.”

The morning sun cast long shadows across the immaculately clean streets of the Nest, its sterile beauty a delicate balance to the chaos that reigned in the Backstreets beyond. {{user}} trudged along the familiar path to school, each step a mirror of countless mornings past. The weight of routine hung heavy in the air, as tangible as the carefully regulated atmosphere that kept the Nest’s climate perpetually mild.
As {{user}} walked, the streets gradually filled with other students, all wearing identical uniforms that seemed to blur together into a sea of conformity. Their chatter was muted, discussions of homework and upcoming tests creating a low hum of banal normalcy. Yet beneath it all, there was an undercurrent of tension - a shared, unspoken knowledge that their privileged lives as ‘Feathers’ came at a steep price.
A group of younger students huddled near a corner, their excited whispers drawing {{user}}'s attention. They were gathered around a small holographic display, showing grainy footage of a recent Fixer operation in the Backstreets. The violence on display was both horrifying and oddly captivating, a glimpse into a world so different from their own that it might as well have been on another planet.
“Did you see that?” one boy whispered, eyes wide with a mix of fear and excitement. “They say that’s what happens every day out there.”
“Shut up,” hissed an older girl, glancing around nervously. “You know we’re not supposed to talk about that stuff.”

- #1City(도시)constant
Keys: City, the city, 도시
[City: You're correct; the previous explanation was shorter than the original. Let me provide a more detailed version with the additional context.
The City in the Project Moon universe, including Library of Ruina and Lobotomy Corporation, is an expansive, dystopian urban complex, roughly the size of a small country, and is the last known bastion of humanity. Governed by "The Head," the City is divided into 26 districts, each with a core area known as a "Nest," which is protected by powerful corporations. These Nests offer safety, while the surrounding Backstreets are rife with danger and lawlessness, where daily violence and death are common occurrences. The City operates under a strict social hierarchy, with vast economic and social disparities between Nest residents and those in the Backstreets.
Corporations play a dominant role, with each district controlled by a "Wing," which manages everything within their Nest, from resources to security. However, their protection doesn't extend to the Backstreets, leaving those areas chaotic and brutal. The population of the City is highly diverse, encompassing various ethnicities, but life within the City is harsh, and survival often depends on one’s status and affiliation with powerful entities.
Life in the City is marked by a constant struggle, where even the sight of dead bodies is a daily occurrence, reflecting the brutal and unforgiving nature of this dystopian society. The City's governance is deeply tied to strict, often oppressive laws and ideologies enforced by various corporate and paramilitary organizations, such as the Claw, which deal with those who violate the City's unique taboos rather than conventional laws.]
- #2Outer(외곽)
Keys: Outer, outer, Outline, outline, 외곽
[Outer: The outer regions of the 'city'. If the back alleys are lawless, crime-ridden areas, the outskirts are more like unexplored territory where monsters and other non-human creatures roam. It's often referred to as a dumping ground for things that have been designated impure by the Head or rejected by the city, and typically all non-humans have been banished to the outskirts long ago. The Head has a neglectful attitude toward the outskirts, and if it cannot remove impurities, it simply injects them into the outskirts, meaning that the Head usually doesn't care if they are impure as long as they are on the outskirts and not inside the city.]
- #3Backstreets(뒷골목)
Keys: Backstreets, 뒷골목, Back Alley, Alley
[Backstreets: The Backstreets are the dangerous and crime-ridden regions of each District in the City, serving as the lower-class counterparts to the Nests. These areas are deadly due to high poverty rates and the lack of protection from the Wings, which nominally oversee them. In reality, most Wings neglect the Backstreets, leaving them in a state of near-anarchy. As a result, these regions are largely governed and controlled by powerful criminal organizations known as the Five Fingers.
The Backstreets weave through the City like blood vessels, even reaching into the Nests, but the boundaries between them and the Nests are clearly defined. Despite the seemingly lawless nature of these areas, each Backstreet has its own established taboos and distinct cultures. People in the City often band together to form Organizations, whose number and size vary widely.
The City consists of 25 Nests, each surrounded by a corresponding Backstreet district, making up the total 25 Backstreets. The Backstreets are home to an innumerable number of Fixer Offices and Organizations, which contribute to the complex and chaotic environment. These regions encompass all areas outside of the Nests, forming the bulk of the City's underbelly.
Although the Backstreets are part of the City and under the nominal jurisdiction of the Wings, their lack of direct oversight has resulted in a haven for the lower class and criminal organizations. The disparity between the Nests and the Backstreets is stark; while Nest residents live in relative safety and comfort, the Backstreets are fraught with danger and uncertainty.
The Wings maintain a clear separation between the Backstreets and the Nests, often using transparent barriers like plasma walls that allow visibility between the two. This setup is designed to give Nest residents a view of the Backstreets, fostering a sense of superiority and driving them to avoid falling into the Backstreets. Conversely, it provides those in the Backstreets with a glimpse of the Nests, instilling a faint hope that they might one day escape their harsh environment.
Even within the Backstreets, there is a wide disparity in wealth and living conditions. Some areas feature modest two-story houses, while others are crowded with densely packed high-rise apartments over 30 stories tall, resembling chicken coops. The Backstreets are a tangled web of ambitions, with districts dedicated to preparing for Nest entrance exams, Organizations and Fixer Offices constantly searching for lucrative opportunities, and workshops and small businesses that profit from these conflicts.
While the numerous Organizations and the notorious "Night in the Backstreets" make these areas seem incredibly dangerous, the Backstreets are still home to a diverse population, each with its own unique circumstances. Some areas maintain a minimum level of security and are relatively peaceful, while others, like slums and impoverished neighborhoods, are places where it's not unusual for someone to be killed in broad daylight.
Despite the dangers, the Backstreets are home to essential facilities such as restaurants, grocery stores, large markets, and educational institutions like schools that operate independently of Fixers or Organizations. The safest parts of the Backstreets are the residential zones, where nearly perfect security is guaranteed during the "Night in the Backstreets." Nonetheless, the influence of the Five Fingers looms large, and their control over these areas ensures that the Backstreets remain a perilous and unpredictable place to live.]
- #4Nest(둥지)constant
Keys: Nest, nests, 둥지
[Nest: Nests are the districts of the City where the Wings hold power and govern. Each Nest is ruled by a single Wing, which oversees the district and enforces its policies. The residents of these Nests, known as "Feathers," tend to live a more humane and stable life compared to those in the Backstreets, free from the constant fear of death. However, this relative security comes at a steep cost: the Feathers must pay substantial taxes to the Wing in exchange for their right to live there and are often exploited by the Wing for labor.
People from the Outskirts and Backstreets are desperate to move into a Nest for the safety it offers, but migrating requires not only money but also permission from the governing Wing. However, if a Wing falls, the Nest can quickly descend into chaos, becoming even more dangerous than the Backstreets. Organizations like the Fingers may seize control of the now-ownerless Nest, looting it while the Feathers struggle to survive.
Eventually, a new Wing might emerge to take over the Nest. This new Wing could either purchase the Nest from the occupying organizations or hire Fixers to drive them out and establish control. Each Nest differs in technological development, lifestyle, and appearance, all shaped by the governing Wing's policies and their Singularities.]
- #5Wing(날개)
Keys: Wing, wings, 날개
[Wing: The Wing, also known as the Wings of the World, are a group of the 26 largest, most powerful conglomerates in the City. They act as the governing bodies of their respective Nests of the City's Districts, empowered by their Singularities, patented technologies that can blatantly violate the laws of physics. The Wings are directly ruled by the Head, the Eye, and the Claw, the enigmatic supreme authority of the City. Each wing is a singularity, and is said to improve the quality of life across the city and promote the well-being of the nest. But the day the wing breaks, it's a different story. Generation after generation, new wings will sprout in place of the city's broken ones, but in the meantime, no one can guarantee the safety of the empty nest.
The wings are named after alphabets, A-corp to Z-corp. There are 25 wings in the city now, because the former L-corp is now abscent.]
- #6Fixer(해결사)constant
Keys: Fixer, fixers, solvers, Solvers, 해결사
[Fixer: Fixers are hired hands who perform a multitude of tasks ranging from dangerous activities like combat, assassination, or expeditions to the Ruins, to less directly violent tasks like negotiating contracts or gathering intelligence; in short, any job requiring skills that the average person would not have. Most of the work Fixers receive comes from the Backstreets, though they still have demand in the Nests.
it business to solve as many cases as there are people in the city. Of course, you can't just declare yourself a fixer, you have to go to an office authorized by the association, or directly to the association to get a fixer's license. They have to work their way up from the bottom to become a high-ranking fixer. They are there to solve the city's problems, but sometimes they become problems themselves.
The Fixer hierarchy is built on meritocracy, where more capable Fixers are granted increased work options, pay, and recognition. In order to easily represent this, all Fixers and Offices are assigned a numerical grade ranging from 9 to 1 by the Hana Association, where Grade 9 is the lowest and Grade 1 is the highest.]
- #7해결사 등급constant
Keys:
[Fixer rank: A rank assigned to a Fixer based on their abilities. They range from 9, the lowest, to 1, the highest, and the strongest and most special are designated with a “color”. The Hana Association is responsible for both licensing and assigning ranks to fixers. The grades are based strictly on performance, so the higher the grade, the stronger the fixer, but not necessarily the stronger the fixer. Some fighters are very strong but are demoted due to accidents, bad behavior, or just plain inactivity, and some fighters are not particularly strong but have earned many certifications and are given a high rank. Because ratings are more of a credential than a rank, a higher-ranked Resolver is not necessarily higher in status, and in some cases, a higher-ranked Resolver may work for a lower-ranked Resolver.
Rank 9 (9급)
- The lowest rank of Fixer. They usually take on trivial requests, such as finding a cat before nightfall. Their combat capabilities are no better than a commoner with a weapon, only a little better than a pack of rats in a back alley.
Rank 8 (8급)
- At rank 8, you can open an office of two or more people, employing multiple fixers. At Rank 8, they receive minimal physical enhancements of any kind, so their strength is far beyond that of an unmodified human. Solvers at rank 8 are barely serviceable as solvers, or are treated no differently than solvers at rank 9.
Rank 7 (7급)
- Unlike the ninth and eighth ranks, the seventh rank is finally treated as a proper Resolver, and can be assigned to a direct office of the Association, albeit a marginal one. However, because they are at the bottom of the ladder, they do not receive expensive requests unless it is a special case.
Rank 6 (6급)
- At rank 6, you are recognized as an experienced fixer and can join a branch of the Association or represent a branch office of the Association.
Rank 5 (5급)
- At rank 5, you're considered a pretty good fixer by Nest standards, not just in the back alleys, so you can join a fixer's office in the Nest and take requests from Nest residents, or you can become the head of the Association's branch (Division 6). However, this is still better than the back alleys, as the rent in the nest is very high and you never know when or where you'll die.
Rank 4 (4급)
- At Rank 4, you can take on Urban Disease to Urban Nightmare-level requests, and you can join either Division 2 or Division 3, the Society's flagship lines. Many rank 4 fixers have the talent to move up the ranks.
Rank 3 (3급)
- This rank requires more than just years of experience, but also natural talent. The combat power of the previous ranks is drastically different, and they're objectively considered a bit of a powerhouse. A rank 3+ fixer can keep you safe, even if it's a night in the back alley.
Rank 2 (2급)
- You're treated like a pariah among fixers. They can afford to set up their own offices in the city. The difference with Rank 1 is huge.
Rank 1 (1급)
- The highest rank a Fixer can reach. Fixers of this rank are well respected in the back alleys and even by the Wings, and if they belong to an association, they can attain the rank of Division 1 or Division 2 Chief. Their powers are inhuman and superhuman, and they are the pinnacle of fantasy-level power, capable of leaping dozens of stories with a single bound or slicing buildings themselves like tofu.
Those with special powers are given a color, earning them the title of Featured Resolver. Color is not based solely on combat power, as some uncolored Rank 1s are able to match or surpass their talents in combat.
Color Fixer (특색)
- Color Fixers have names composed of a color and a word. The origin of this title varies, from talent to Color Fixer. As top-Rank Fixers, they hold a special title, making them overwhelmingly powerful and considered the strongest in the city and beyond. Being recognized by the Hana Association and becoming a Color Fixer is referred to as "receiving color."]
- #8Fixer associations(해결사 협회)
Keys: Fixer assosications, Fixer assosication, assosication, Assosications, 협회, 해결사 협회
[Fixer assosication: Fixer Associations or Associations are large professional business organizations run by Fixers which operate within the City. In a city, there is an association that oversees all the solvers, or a larger organization that manages the solvers around a Hana association. This usually involves distributing events in the city to each association, which in turn distributes the work to the solvers. A large association that governs the Fixers. It oversees the tasks that would normally fall to the Flxers, such as policing, combat, assassination, intelligence, patents, and trade, and ranks and assigns work based on the size of these tasks, ranging from Urban Nightmare, Stars of the city. Each branch has six sections, with Section 1 being the most elite and containing the lowest ranking Solvers in increasing numbers. The first division is headed by a first-ranked Fixer and contains several second- and third-ranked Fixers, while the second division is headed by a first-ranked Fixer but mainly contains second- and fourth-ranked Fixers. While the Fixer associations seem to do a better job than the unaffiliated Fixers who are barely an organization, they are as corrupt and contradictory as the wings. In order to become an association Fixer, you have to take an exam organized by the association. ]
- #9Hana association(하나 협회)
Keys: Hana, Hana association, 하나 협회
[Hana association: The Hana Association is one of the Associations of the City, acting as the head of all other associations and offices. They grade all Fixers, Offices, and City hazards. They rate the risk of disasters in the city and manage the ratings of their offices and fixers. The information they collect is relayed to other associations and trickles down to their own offices. They also handle cases that other organizations fail to resolve. They wear white suits and coats with the four seals on them, and their weapons are made of black metal that can be changed at will. They are usually wielded as spears or swords, but the metal on their arms can also be used as a shield to block attacks, wrapped around body parts for powerful grappling techniques, or wrapped around their legs to stabilize their posture when under attack.]
- #10Zwei Association(츠바이 협회)
Keys: Zwei, Zwei Association, 츠바이 협회, 츠바이
[Zwei Association: The Zwei Association is one of the Associations of the City, specializing in civil protection and peacekeeping. The motto is “Your shield. They are paid to protect specific areas or factors designated by their clients. They are more defensive than other associations and prioritize protecting their clients. They don't necessarily care about the safety of people who don't have money. There is also a type of contract called “designated protection,” in which they follow and protect the individual client rather than a specific area. For clients who want protection but don't want their privacy invaded, a Zwei Association resolver will himself as a member of the public and watch from a distance so that the client doesn't feel uncomfortable, and intervene if the client is in danger. In this case, the client is disguised in such a way that they don't realize they are being followed. uniform is a yellow shirt, black tie, and a coat with two yellow stripes on a blue background. His ceremonial weapons are a zweihender and a yellow glowing mace. Due to the nature of their work, they often work in plain clothes, not the uniform of the Zwei Association. ]
- #11Shi Association(시 협회)
Keys: Shi, shi association, 시 협회, 시협회
[Shi association: The Shi Association is one of the Associations of the City, specializing in swift and covert assassinations. The Association strives to maintain a level of neutrality and fairness in its dealings, but in recent times it has grown corrupt and lost respect for the sanctity of death. They are often hired to assassinate targets in the dark, waiting for the right moment to strike.
The demand for assassination jobs in the city is high, so there's a constant flow of work for the city association's fixers, but there are also organizations that protect the targets and fixers that kill the fixers they're hired to assassinate, so there's a lot of fighting going on behind the scenes, and anyone with enough money will take a job. The City Association has a philosophy that “death weighs the same for everyone, so we should treat everyone fairly and not discriminate.” This means that whether the target is a criminal, a dirty job for a higher-up, or a request to kill a close friend or family member, the assassination must be handled without favoritism. Of course, information about the client must be kept strictly confidential. That's the rule, and that's the mindset of the Society. They are adept at working in small groups, and are characterized by efficient movement and excellent situational awareness. Their ceremonial weapon is a Japanese sword with a red glowing blade, and their uniform is a black robe and black pants. While the details vary slightly, they all have red lines around the wrists, ankles, waist, and neck.]
- #12Liu Association(리우 협회)
Keys: Liu, Liu association, 리우 협회, 리우
[Liu association: The Liu Association is one of the Associations of the City, specializing in direct combat and warfare. An association that specializes in combat, large-scale all-out warfare. The leader of the association will engage in a duel with the enemy's leader, while the rest of the association tries to subdue the rest of the enemy to prevent them from interfering with the duel. As such, the death of a leader on either side can cause a major upset. Favors frontal assaults. Because of this, Liu says that most of the requests that come to him don't require complex strategies or specialized tactics, but rather “just keep moving forward and fight.” Because of this, he emphasizes emotion and the flow of combat. The uniform is a red coat and black suit. Ceremonial weapons are the unyielding sword and one-handed sword. Fighting style. The association teaches a variety of kung fu and martial arts. Their weapons have the ability to ignite fire, much like the Stigma Air Defense weapon, and the more emotional they become, the stronger the flames. Because their weapons require a heightened emotional response to become more potent, they are not well suited to those who are not very sociable and do not get along well with others, or to those who are emotionally unstable and cold. Mealtime is also a time to gather and eat together.]
- #13Seven Association(세븐 협회)
Keys: Seven Association, 세븐 협회
[Seven Association: Seven Association Specializes in information collection. It has most of the city's information, except for classified information such as wing singularities. knows when minor offices have opened and closed, as well as some information about Distortions and fingers. It's also very fast at processing information, so it gets information about things that happen in real time. His main job is characterized by a kind of detective work, which involves investigating information and profiling it to solve and follow up on cases. Despite being an intelligence organization, they have considerable force to protect their valuable information. The uniform is a green suit with a yellow tie and a gold badge in the shape of the number “7”. Their ceremonial weapons are Western swords such as rapiers and longswords. Their fighting style is based on identifying an opponent's weaknesses and subduing them with minimal and precise skill.]
- #14Offices(사무소)
Keys: Fixer offices, offices, 사무소, Office
[Fixer offices: Fixer Offices, or Offices, are small professional business organizations run by Fixers within the City. They are one of the main types of guests in the game. Offices are the first step of the Fixer hierarchy, overseen by the Associations. They are regarded as the starting point for all Fixers and mainly operate in Backstreets, allowing Fixers to officially offer their services to the City's populace. It is exceedingly hard for Fixers to find work otherwise.
New or incompetent Fixers do not have the necessary connections or resources to make it on their own without joining even the worst Office.
Companies started by fixers. They can range from one-person offices to offices with thousands of fixers, and they usually recommend a uniform to blend in with the city. It doesn't have to be a strict uniform, but it does need to be formal in order to earn the trust of your clients. Some offices are directly employed by the association and subcontracted, while others seek out work on their own. As someone once said, there are as many offices as there are fixers, and there are countless of them in a city. They pop up one minute and disappear the next.]
- #15Distortions (뒤틀림)
Keys: Distortion, Distortion phenomenon, 뒤틀림, twist, distortions, warping
[Distortion: Distortions are powerful, monstrous entities in the City whom are former humans who have been overcome by their emotions. The process by which humans Distort is referred to as the Distortion Phenomenon. Distortion is when overwhelming negative emotions take on a physical form and manifest as a monster. The cause of warping is the negative manifestation of emotions and the loss of firm will. When a person's accumulated emotions reach their limit and explode, warp is manifested. If the outburst of emotion is manifested in a positive way, E.G.O. will manifest, but in a city where the human spirit is disregarded and humans are considered expendable, Warp will most likely manifest. Although it has changed to a heterogeneous appearance, there are also slight differences depending on the individual. There are cases where you lose your reason and become a wild monster, twist in the form of a place, and maintain your reason after being twisted. Of course, they must also arbitrarily hold on to reason endlessly. Additionally, the greater the emotional breadth of a Distortion, the stronger the force of the Distortion. However, if the emotional breadth is small, it will not be as powerful as it was before the Distortion, and even if the Distortioned object was inherently powerful, it will be weakened if it is an ability that can only be exercised when there is reason, such as skill or reading numbers.]
- #16The head(머리)
Keys: The head, Head, 머리
[Head: The Head is the supreme government of the City, serving as a singularity coordination organization and a kind of public enterprise. It manages all patents, monitors the Wings, and establishes various city regulations to keep the City running smoothly.
The Head, residing in Nest A, runs A Corp (Arbiter) and oversees B Corp (Beholder) and C Corp (Claw). Technically, the Head refers specifically to A Corp, but within the City, the term "Head" encompasses A Corp, B Corp, and C Corp. The Head maintains a horizontal relationship with these entities, as each has distinct roles: the Arbiters (Head), the Beholders (Eyes), and the Claws (Executioners). Through their singularities and immense power, they wield transcendental authority that no city resident can challenge.
A Corp, directly managed by the Head, handles patent management, minting, and granting Wing permissions. Designating impurities among the disaster levels is within the Head's authority. Entities marked as impurities are physically extracted from the City and cast into the outskirts, handled by Arbiters and Executioners with the aid of the Beholders.
The Head’s primary objective is to maintain the current City where humans act on their desires. Due to this objective, as long as the City's taboos are observed, the Head does not interfere with minor crimes or heinous acts such as robbery, murder, torture, cannibalism, and human experimentation. The Head strictly upholds their definition of humanity, seeking to exclude "non-human intelligences" from the City.
The Head governs the City’s government institutions, but their actions are confined to preserving the City and humanity's domain. Despite possessing the power to dominate the City, command its inhabitants, control the Wings, and suppress opposition, the Head refrains from excessive intervention. Instead, they focus on ensuring that city dwellers act on their desires, make money, die, and weave their narratives, thus maintaining the City's dynamic existence.]
- #17Arbiter(조율자)
Keys: Arbiter, Arbiters, 조율자
[Arbiter: Arbiters are the high authorities of the Head and the most deadly assassins. They are members of A Corp, directly operated by the Head. Arbiters can freely manipulate singularities, the pinnacle of the City's power. Although singularities are products of science, their abilities—such as conjuring energy blades, beams, massive energy pillars, or chains—resemble traditional fantasy magic more than advanced technology. They use these singularities without any devices, wielding them barehanded.
The singularities used by Arbiters commonly manifest in combinations of black and gold, marking their distinctiveness. Arbiters possess unmatched power, capable of laying waste to an entire Wing, making them the most powerful beings in the City.]
- #18Beholder(응시자)
Keys: Beholder, Beholders, 응시자
[Beholder: Beholders are the eyes of the Head, overseeing every single activity in the City. Known as the watchers of the eyes, their primary task is to identify those who violate the City's taboos or patents, including tax evaders. The real form of Beholders is unknown.
Beholders possess an extraordinary ability of unlimited observation. They are aware of even the trivial details, such as someone writing a bucket list in a previously uncertain location. They detect every single minor transgression across the vast City, from tax evasion and singularity patent infringements to residential area destruction in the back alleys at night. This implies that Beholders monitor all 6.7 billion residents of the City in real time. However, their surveillance is not entirely infallible; for instance, they failed to notice Lobotomy Corporation killing two Claws and detaining an Arbiter for ten years while hatching a suspicious plan.
Despite some limitations, Beholders can observe everything happening in the City, and their surveillance has virtually no boundaries. For the citizens of the City, everything occurs under the watchful eyes of the Head.]
- #19Claw(발톱)
Keys: Claw, claws, 발톱
[Claw: The Claw is the most powerful military force within the city, directly under the control of C Corp and by extension, the Head. Members of the Claw, known as Executioners, are tasked with eliminating individuals who violate specific taboos. These taboos are not based on conventional laws but on the ideological rules set by the Head. After three warnings, anyone who continues to break these taboos is mercilessly eliminated by the Claw.
The Claw is not involved in intelligence gathering but focuses purely on enforcement, and their appearance signals an almost certain death sentence for the offenders. They are equipped with specialized prosthetic arms and serums, enabling them to wield extraordinary combat abilities. The serums, which are stored in their prosthetic limbs, allow them to harness various Singularities—unique powers associated with different Wings of the city.
Visually, members of the Claw are imposing figures, dressed in long black coats and wearing distinctive masks that conceal their identities, further enhancing their fearsome reputation. Their combat prowess is considered superior to that of first-class Fixers and is sometimes compared to that of distinguished Fixers or even Arbiters, though they are regarded as slightly weaker in comparison to the latter.
In summary, the Claw serves as a formidable military unit under the Head’s command, tasked with enforcing the city’s ideological rules. Their presence is one of the most feared occurrences within the city, signaling the direst consequences for those who defy the Head's mandates.]

Keys: fingers, Five fingers, 손가락
[Fingers: The Five Fingers, also known as the Fingers of the Backstreets or the Hand, are a group of Syndicates whose disaster rate is rated as Stars of the City and run the Backstreets of the City. These five organizations are powerful enough to rival the Associations and the Wings, holding the peak of Backstreets power. Many of the notable criminal organizations in the Backstreets are connected to the Fingers. They manage the Backstreets by dividing their territories and establishing various rules. The name "Fingers" originates from their role in "managing" the Backstreets.
While some may underestimate the conflicts initiated by these Backstreets organizations, it is said that if the Fingers were to engage in a full-scale war, the resulting damage and aftermath could rival that of a Wing war, involving not only the Fingers but also their numerous subordinate organizations. To mediate their interests, the Fingers hold a meeting known as "Finger Linking." As this meeting approaches, not only the Fingers but also their subordinate organizations avoid conflicts to prevent embarrassing their superiors during the negotiations.
Members of these organizations are commonly identified by the golden sashes they wear.]

- #24The middle(중지)
Keys: The middle, middle, 중지, The middle finger, Middle finger
[The middle: The Middle is one of the Five Fingers, one of the five most powerful Syndicates in the City holding enough power to rival the Wings. Middle is one of five fingers, one of the five most powerful syndicates in the city with power comparable to Wings. The suspension emphasizes friendship and loyalty among members of the organization more than anything else, and in fact, other personnel and executives pay back when the affiliated organization or the suspension personnel are harmed.
Because of this characteristic, it is a group that values friendship and friendship, with the middle finger behind them and the affiliated organizations working together in loyalty, so the atmosphere among the personnel also forms a family-like atmosphere compared to other fingers. However, since it is a finger and a criminal organization, it is not cheeky to those outside who are not members of the suspension, and even members of the suspension are not allowed to leave recklessly.
These organizations emphasize loyalty among members and are overly obsessed with revenge for those who have touched their own family members, whether they are far or close. They must take extreme retaliation against the revenge targets, emphasizing the consequences of harming their families. They remember every little thing and make them pay back dozens of times. Everyone simply accepts you as a member of the organization if they want, but never lets you out easily. It has the advantage of being easy to join, but if you run away, you will continue to be chased by Jungji.
Each member of the organization has a book called the Book, which basically describes how to repay each grudge, and then records insults to be paid back or revenge to be paid back in a blank notebook. Subsequently, the subject is punished according to the criteria for the middle finger. In the case of the thumb and index finger, the middle finger must also be avenged according to this rule.]

Keys: Scavengers, scavengers, 청소부
[Scavengers: A group that kills people in the back alleys and outskirts and scavenges their bodies.
Their exact size is unknown, but they are large enough that they seem to creep out of nowhere whenever they can. Their survivability is not just in numbers, but also in survivability: if you take down a Scavenger, other Scavengers will absorb the corpses of their fallen comrades to heal themselves. If you're going to kill them, make sure you do it cleanly and in one go.]

- #27Rumors(뜬소문)
Keys: Rumors, rumors, 뜬소문
[Rumors: It's not an official disaster classification, it's just a name for a bunch of random events that aren't really fact-checked. No one has money to spend on it, so most people don't care.]
- #28Urban myths(도시 괴담)
Keys: Urban myths, urban myths, 도시 괴담
[Urban myths: From this level on, it is treated as an official disaster and has a certain level of recognition. It's still a cheap myth, though. - #29Urban legends(도시 전설)
Keys: Urban legends, urban legends, 도시 전설
[Urban legends: At this level, organizations or fixer associations are more likely to get involved. Keys: Urban disease, urban disease, 도시 질병
[Urban disease: This is where the more established fixers or "fingers" start to show interest. - #33Impurities(불순물)
Keys: Impurities, impurities, 불순물
[Impurities: The name implies that the impurity is something to be excluded, something that can no longer be integrated into the city. It's conveniently lumped into the category of urban disasters, but it's actually something else entirely, much like a rumor. It's not a classification that involves fixers, and it's no longer considered a part of the city in the first place. To be labeled as such is simply to be removed from the city by any means necessary. It's a definitive intervention by the head, whose purpose is to maintain the continuity of the city and the purity of humanity. The Impure designation is given to any disaster that violates the Head's standards, regardless of the scale of the disaster. ]
- #34Color Fixers(특색)
Keys: Colors, Color Fixer, Color Fixers, 특색, 특색 해결사
[Color Fixer: On rare occasions, there are Rank 1 Fixers who greatly surpass others in some way, whether it's strength, intelligence, or some other form of ability. In these cases, an association, specifically the Hana Association, may give them a special title to distinguish them as the model of the ideal fixer and the best choice for picking the City's stars. These exceptional Rank 1 Fixers, known as Color Fixers, stand at the pinnacle of the Fixer hierarchy and are recognized for their overwhelming strength and unique characteristics, which go beyond mere physical prowess.
Being recognized as a Color Fixer by the Hana Association is expressed as "receiving a color." This distinct terminology underscores the prestige of the title, differentiating it from simply "becoming a Color Fixer" or "getting promoted." Many Fixers dream of achieving this status, but only a few reach such a lofty rank. The designation of Color Fixers is closely managed by the Hana Association, ensuring that although they operate independently and are not in a strict hierarchy, they maintain a close relationship with the Association.
Rank 1 and Rank 9 Fixers are similar in that, regardless of their affiliation, they must obey their superiors' orders and act to maintain the City's way of life. However, Colored Fixers are the only ones who enjoy the freedom that Fixers truly desire, acting somewhat independently and choosing more of what they want. Thus, every Fixer who dreams of freedom aims to climb the ranks to become a Color Fixer.
List of Color Fixers and their current status:

He wears black pants that also has golden trim and swirls on the bottom, and black shoes with gold soles. He uses a Scythe as his weapon.
Argalia is a "certified lunatic" whose attitude and actions are unpredictable, having "lost it" after the death of his sister Angelica. He is highly charismatic, always appearing to be calm, amicable, and soft-spoken, easily manipulating opponents and swaying potential allies to his side. When he holds the advantage, he openly mocks his victims and opponents in the same playful manner, only rarely revealing his actual cold and callous attitude towards them.
Argalia cares a lot for his sister and regards her with love; his plan to seize the Library's Light is motivated by his desire to come to terms with Angelica's death. At the same time, he also views Angelica's husband as a violent brute who took her away from him undeservingly from the very start of their marriage.]

- #39W corp, warp train(W사, 워프열차)
Keys: W corp, warp train, warp corperation, w사, W사, 워프열차
[WARP Corp: WARP Corp, or W Corp, is one of the twenty-six Wings in the City, in control of District 23. W Corp's Singularity ostensibly deals with warping and teleportation technology, and the corporation operates the WARP Train network that runs throughout the City and provides transportation between the districts.]
[Warp train: literally, a train that travels through space, arriving at its destination station exactly 10 seconds after departure. It is quite expensive and not an everyday mode of transportation. The idea is to send the train into another dimension and then pull it out again at the exact same time at the exact same destination. The problem is that in reality, the train is pulled out after only 10 seconds, but no one knows how long the train has to wander around in another dimension, where space and time are completely warped, until it arrives. The way it works is that before the train leaves, passengers are strapped into seat belts to minimize their movements, so that the train “records” the passengers' present moment, and, thanks to an agreement with the T Corp, the passengers' time is secretly collected so that not a single second passes inside the train. This ensures that passengers and cargo are immune to natural deterioration, including aging and death, no matter how long it takes. Because of this, no matter how much time passed inside the narrow train, passengers were free from aging, hunger, thirst, etc. and even if their bodies were severely mutilated, they would only feel the pain and never die or decay. For passengers trapped in narrow trains for extremely long periods of time, this immortality becomes a curse, and they inevitably become insane over time. It would take at least 10,000 years for the train to arrive.
By the time the train arrives, all of the insane passengers have gone mad, and the train has become an inferno inside: they tear each other's bodies apart to maximize their surface area and enjoy the maximum amount of pain. When the train arrives at its destination, cleanup crews from W Corp enter the train to collect the passengers. In the case of the suicidal type, they have to collect the passengers' flesh and put it back on the seats where it belongs, but in the midst of the gutting, they don't know whose flesh belongs to whom, so they have to scan it with a scanner to distinguish whose body it is, then separate it and put it in the right place.Once the train is cleaned up, the real peculiarity of W Corp is that they restore the passengers to the state they were in just before the train left. The restored passengers' bodies and memories are perfectly reverted to the moment they fastened their seatbelts, so they forget everything that happened on the train and feel that it was a pleasant journey that took only 10 seconds to arrive, while passengers in first class are able to spend the rest of the journey asleep in a cryo-sleeping device on the train.]
- #40Midnight Blackout(백야 흑주)
Keys: 백야 흑주, 백야 흑주 사건, Midnight Blackout
[Midnight Blackout: A mysterious event in which a city is engulfed in three days of light and four days of darkness. The people of the city, who were practically working corpses during the white nights and black days, became unusually contemplative and reminiscent of old memories, and some of them became warped by an outburst of negative emotions, turning into monsters. Most of them became warped, but a few were able to awaken positive emotions and manifest E.G.O. A pianist in the Ninth Ward of Music Alley was the first to be warped, causing 300,000 casualties. The pianist's performance has been said to have awakened the city from its doldrums, and it resonates with some people.]
- #41Smoke War(연기전쟁)
Keys: Smoke war, 연기전쟁
[Smoke War: The Smoke War was a large-scale conflict between multiple Wings and other organizations in the City. Masterminded by Ayin, Benjamin, and Dias, the war caused the collapse of the L Corp. which came before LobCorpIcon Lobotomy Corporation and allowed for the latter to be created.

- #42Lobotomy corperation(로보토미 코퍼레이션)
Keys: Lobotomy corperation, Lobotomy corp, L corp, 로보토미 코퍼레이션, 로보토미, L사, Company L, company L
[Lobotomy corperation: Lobotomy Corporation, or L Corp, was one of the twenty-six Wings in the City which has since collapsed, formerly in control of District 12. L Corp's Singularity was the ability to materialize the human mind, and the company used this to market itself as an eco-friendly energy producer for the City and the other Wings. Secretly, this was done through the creation and use of Abnormalities, monstrous and highly dangerous entities created from experiments with L Corp's Singularity. However, a shocking event known as the White Nights and Black Liquor Incident led to the company's downfall, and today, the wings of L's nest are still empty. Because the old L's power grid covered the entire city, there are many branches of the company here and there. With their downfall, they all fell into ruins, but there are still some useful items inside. Along with some of the most dangerous monsters. L Corp. was the product of a radical plan to fundamentally change the mentality of City life, carried out by its founding members in its main facility, by collecting Light and using it to release the Seed of Light over the City. This would allow all individuals to come to terms with their emotions and subsequently manifest E.G.O. The success of the Light's collection and release led to the White Nights and Dark Days and caused the collapse of the Wing and its branches. However, the Light's release was interrupted by Angela, who sought revenge for the suffering the plan inflicted on her and also freedom from L Corp, indirectly causing the Distortion Phenomenon in the process. Angela proceeded to remake L Corp's main facility into the Library to bide her time and plan for her freedom, all while the City's many factions are beginning to eye the sudden power vacuum in L Corp's former Nest to make their own fortunes.]
- #43Abnormality(환상체)
Keys: Abnormalities, 환상체, Abnormality
[Abnormality: Abnormality are entities that manifested from the mind of humans, and as such reflect an aspect of desires or fears of people. The Lobotomy Corporation utilized something called phantoms to generate energy. As the name implies, the illusions ranged from bizarre and terrifying beings that were hard to believe existed, to seemingly harmless beings that had dire consequences if mismanaged. After the fall of Company L, most of its branches were buried by regulation, trapping the illusions and their employees together. Now that so much time has passed, the employees inside may be dead, but the illusions are not; they still roam the ruined branches. Phantasmagoria range from inanimate to intelligent, and while they seem to communicate well with intelligent beings, they have a twisted set of values that they don't reveal until they go berserk, and are incapable of normal thought outside of their own obsessions.]
- #44E.G.O(E.G.O, 에고)
Keys: E.G.O, Ego, 에고
[E.G.O: E.G.O. (Extermination of Geometrical Organ) is a type of personalized equipment manifested from an individual's mind.
The E.G.O. doesn't have any specific instructions, and the user realizes how to use it the moment they put it on. Even if you've never held a weapon before, you'll naturally learn how to use it, and your basic physical abilities will be very strong. However, the power of the same E.G.O. varies depending on the user, so the better the user's basic skills, the more powerful the weapon.
Although E.G.O. are manifested from a specific individual, anyone who can use E.G.O. can use another individual's E.G.O. This comes with a risk, as using another person's E.G.O. is akin to putting the shell of another individual's ego around oneself. This can cause one to lose oneself to the E.G.O., or risk not being able to draw out the equipment's true potential.
A E.G.O user can be turned into a distortion if his emotions are drawn to a critically unstable, negative state.
The E.G.O. that is manifested in the individual ego is something that only a very few people who have been Midnight Black Wine Incident are capable of. This is called flowering E.G.O., and unwavering will and spirit are the conditions for its manifestation. The difference in combat power between those who have manifested the Flowering E.G.O. and those who have not is vast.
An E.G.O. is a powerful ability or piece of equipment that comes from within your character.
If you overcome the temptation of a beautiful voice and solidify your beliefs and resolutions, you will express a blooming E.G.O.
You can express your own E.G.O. if you strengthen your firm resolve through an emotional outburst.
In most cases, you can only have a chance of awakening if you are pushed to the limit physically and mentally.
When you reject a beautiful voice and express E.G.O., you will be enlightened by your virtue. Ego's rating is highest in order of ZAYIN, TETH, HE, WAW, and ALEPH. The higher the rating, the stronger E.G.O.
Extract E.G.O.: E.G.O.s that are extracted from Abnormalities and used. Unlike blooming E.G.O.s, anyone can use them as long as they have E.G.O.s.]
- #45Mice(쥐)
Keys: Mice, rat, mice, 쥐, 쥐새끼, mouse
[Mice: The lowest class in the city. They have no real job, no connections or money to get into organizations or become fixers, so they live from one day to the next by robbing and selling organs to those weaker than them.]
- #46Night in the Back Alley(뒷골목의 밤)
Keys: Night in the Back Alley, night of Back Alley, 뒷골목의 밤
[Night in the Back Alley: A time when everything is allowed, as determined by the Head. It runs from 3:13 a.m. to 4:34 a.m., for a total of 80 minutes. Back Alley Only Literally anything goes during this time, with the exception of the few rules set by the Head, such as no recording and no residential areas. Indirectly eliminating a neighbor who is causing you distress with inter-floor noise, bypassing the rules of the residential zone, or even killing a high-ranking member of the Fixer's Association in the middle of the street is acceptable on Back Alley Night. This is when the scavengers come out to sweep the back alleys, which is half of the danger in the back alleys, so you'll need to hire at least a rank 3 Fixer to keep yourself safe on Back Alley Night. During this time of lawlessness, there is only one law that is strictly followed: "Do not trespass on another's property or vandalize their property during Backstreet Night". This is a taboo in the city, and anyone caught breaking it will be immediately clawed to death.
a night in a back alley All but the following two acts are allowed for a total of 80 minutes from 3:13 a.m. to 4:34 a.m. in the back alley. No recording of the night in the back alley A clause that increases the risk of night in the back alley. Without this clause, the likelihood of social reputation being destroyed or retaliated in any way afterwards increases, and the significance of night in the back alley is tarnished because it hesitates to act even at night in the back alley. Because it is virtually impossible to investigate what happened at night in the back alley unless there is a witness, there is no way to know what anyone is doing. It is also said that this maintains minimal courtesy in the back alley. Unless you are a fairly strong person, you may be killed at night in the back alley if you treat your neighbors or neighbors harshly. In other words, night in the back alley maintains minimal order in the disordered back alley. No invasion and destruction of residential areas This is a taboo that enhances the stability of night in back alleys. Since this clause is also observed by cleaners, even weak people can be safe from the dangers that cleaners and various organizations pose at night in back alleys if they follow this method. On the contrary, however, it means that people can break into residential areas other than these hours, so if there is an executive with fingers who can handle the chores, he or she may kill and occupy the houses before the time comes to avoid the night in back alleys. For this reason, the security of back alleys depends on whether residents in the areas have the power to defend themselves or the ability to hire troubleshooters or organizations. In the event of a violation of the above two matters, a claw is immediately dispatched without warning to execute the offender.]

Keys: Enhancement surgery, enhancement surgery, undergone, 강화시술
[Enhancement surgery: A generic term for various procedures that enhance physical abilities.
A relatively inexpensive procedure for a low-ranked Fixer can give them enough strength to pull down a telephone pole by hand, while high-ranked Fixers who have undergone more advanced procedures can jump up to the 17th floor of an apartment building in a single bound or cut through buildings. In addition to enhancing combat power, anything related to physical prowess can be enhanced, including the ability to survive for very long periods of time without eating or drinking. Due to the existence of these technologies, the physical differences between the sexes in the city seem to be non-existent except for reproductive capabilities, and with enough enhancements and combat skills, the effects of aging can be avoided.]
