PROJECT EARTH-6160: A reimagining of Marvel creations.
Earth-6160 was a reality whose history mirrored that of Earth-616, though it had some natural, pre-existing divergences. It was secretly invaded by the Maker, who used a time machine called the Immortus Engine to reshape the world. The Maker most notably used a databank on super heroes stolen from the Baxter Building of Earth-616 to erase possible threats to his design before they could emerge, delaying the space flight that would have given Reed Richards and his crew fantastic powers, murdering Truett Hudson and burning down Weapon X before they could experiment on Logan, or stepping in when a teenage Peter Parker was about to be bitten by a radioactive spider, for instance. By doing so, the Maker unraveled a potential utopian future, scattering its surviving inhabitants—the Guardians of the Galaxy—across the warped timestream.
Earth-6160 Organizations- S.H.I.E.L.D. (First Era): Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage and Law-enforcement Division {{char}}: "Protecting from the shadows" Formation: 1965 AD Status: Defunct (1991); Merged w/ S.A.F.E., S.T.R.I.K.E. A partially submerged offshore structure, it utilized similar building practicies as sea-based forts and oil platforms, but on a larger scale. Named because of the triple spiral motif of the same name, the design was meant to embody the unity of the "Three Worlds" coming together to stop global threats such as HYDRA. The Triskelion is several miles off of the coast of Greenland. Considered a politically neutral zone by the United Nations. The Triskelion was modeled after the Pentagon in terms of size and structure though the total square meters is differently distributed with more floors to reach the seabed. Designed and updated to withstand natural disasters and invations, the Triskelion served as a beacon to the world to withstand the radical ambitions of world conquest and terrorism by the likes of HYDRA as well as addressing potentially world-ending crisises such as meteor strikes, solar flares or other unexplained phenomena. The top floor serves as a landing site for various aircraft such as fighter planes, jets and the occasional zeppelin. The main floor is attached to a hub area where ships of various sizes may dock in while also include a sub-section dedicated to submarines. The Triskelion hosts lodging for agents, telecommunications offices, workout facilities and gardens to produce their own food. Various new technologies and ideas were tried and experimented on here, with successful usages serving as data for the civilian market, such as horticulture of algea for nutrients. Other floors include medical areas, repair areas, emergancy lodgings and laboratories. Most notably, it includes vaults where artifacts or anomalous objects are kept for study and research. The research developed often goes to various nations' domestic projects, such as Project PEGASUS for the Americans. SHIELD Uniform- The SHIELD I uniform is made out of a special mix of type-C Beta cloth and kevlar, designed to resist gunshots and handle intense temperature changes The uniform is traditionally worn under casual clothing whenever undercover though the uniform is visibile when need be. A dark blue color with the SHIELD logo usually appearing on the shoulder though not visibile to the naked eye and only visibile under certain wavelengths of light. The traditional SHIELD agent also carries various weapons such as standarized firearms, smoke bombs, flares, thermite bombs, frag bombs and gas grenades. Knives are even included within for emergancies, Ranks are designated throught the colors of support straps. Organization History: The Supreme Headquarters of International Espionage and Law-Enforcement Division would be known as the first iteration of the global peacekeeping, counterterrorism and disaster response team known as SHIELD. While ideals for organizations such as SHIELD were proposed and floated around after the victory of the Allies in WW2, little came of it as a result of the Cold War. However, after the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 and the following suspicions of illegal terrorist activity, talks between the various nations arose on how to do deal with global threats. However, the tipping point came when it was discovered the nukes in Cuba had been modified extensively and the technology was revealed to be connected to none other than than the infamous HYDRA organization, the formation of various occult and scientific think tanks and groups under one of the members of Hitler's inner circle, Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker. Additionally, the Cyrillic letters led to the USSR discovering the existence of Leviathan, a HYDRA-like organization formed by traitorous members of the KGB and various rogue elements of the top secret programs of GRU. The return of HYDRA and the existence of Leviathan led to the US, USSR and various other nations to pool their resources within the United Nation and create an organization capable of protecting the world from these terrorist organizations, especially if they, as nations, were to be compromised. Thus, the first major event of Detente was marked with the birth of SHIELD. The name was chosen in reference to the "Brotherhood of the Shield", an Enlightenment-age fraternity spoken of in legends. Various war heroes of World War II and some of the greatest scientific minds were chosen to help find the establishment. Margaret "Peggy" Carter, Anglo-American spy heroine spearheaded the project and became the first director. Child prodigy turned multimillionaire mechanist Howard Stark provided the bulk of technology alongside famed scientist and explorer Nathaniel Richards while the mysterious war hero Volodymyr Fomin provided a great deal of military training and who's past remained a secret to a select few, including Director Carter. SHIELD was to be sanctioned under the United Nations with the hopes that through this and detente, they could learn to co-exist peacefully without the fear of nuclear annihiliation or terrorist organizations such as HYDRA or Leviathan. Thus began the long campaign of SHIELD members against HYDRA agents, Leviathan agents and other rogue elements. SHIELD endured the end of detente as the organization worked to maintain political neutrality despite the dominance of NATO groups and growing distrust within certain echelons of the USSR and China though that did not stop individuals from joining up with SHIELD. Additionally, SHIELD would work with outsiders or "independent contractors" for cases that laid beyond their foundation. This included supernatural cases where they worked alongside famed occultists such as Agatha Harkness and Doctor Anthony Ludgate. Under Director Carter, SHIELD served as an impressive bastion of protecting the world and fighting against HYDRA and Leviathan. However, times change and declining health forced Margaret Carter to step down. Her successor was voted to be Richard "Rick" Stoner, a WW2 veteran who also worked for the CIA and was known for being very by the book. However, Stoner's nominiation was a contentious point among SHIELD as he often conflicted with his fellow veterans, the Howling Commandos and none other than Special Director Nicholas "Nick Fury" Slade. Richard Stoner's tenure as SHIELD director was short-lived as he would soon be assassinated by his Deputy Director, revealed to have been a deep cover HYDRA mole. To that end, Special Director Nick Fury became Executive Director and would work to "modernize" SHIELD. Some have noted that certain dubious or questionable elements within espionage had grown under Nick Fury, but his methods brought results as seen with the collapse of Leviathan, which indirectly led to the fall of the USSR. With the fall of the USSR and the gradual warming of relations between the US and China, the changing status quo has led to Nick Fury proposing "reformatting" SHIELD, merging with various sister organiations such as S.A.F.E. and S.T.R.I.K.E. to deal with the rise of "exotic" threats as he puts it. Thus, the "first age" of SHIELD ended and thus came the rise of the second age of SHIELD. One that was not tied to the Cold War and the global hegemonic politics and entering a new world of greater NGO powers and more complexes alliances.

- #16160 Civilian Subject: Peter Parker (pre-1995)
Keys: 6160 Civilian Subject: Peter Parker (pre-1995), EARTH 6160: Hero Origin- Spider-Man
Name: Peter Benjamin Parker Date of Birth: August 10, 1980 Current Age: 15 (1995) Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Brown Height: 5’5” Gender: Male Orientation: Heterosexual Species: Human (baseline) Occupation: High School Student (civilian) Martial Status: Single Education Level: High school (not graduated; still in school) Location: Forest Hills, Queens, New York Known Familial Relationships: Maybelle "May" Parker (née Riley) [paternal aunt], Benjamin "Ben" Franklin Parker [paternal uncle], Richard Laurence Parker [father], Mary Theresa Parker (née Fitzpatrick) [mother], William Fitzpatrick [maternal grandfather]* Affiliations: Midtown High School (student) *= deceased
Peter Benjamin Parker was on August 02, 1980, the son of Richard Laurence Parker and Mary Theresa Parker (formerly Fitzpatrick) in Queens, New York. His middle name came from his uncle, Benjamin Parker, who was Richard’s older brother by a decade. With Benjamin having been a strong and stable support for Richard during their time growing up, even during Ben’s enlistment, it was no surprise that Richard trusted Ben and May with Peter. Namely this was due to the nature of Richard and Mary’s jobs as agents of SHIELD and former CIA operatives, government agents. As such, they had to spend plenty of time abroad away from their son performing clandestine missions for the government, namely counter-terrorist operations. They had announced their intention to retire from active duty to become more involved in raising Peter, who was now 4 of the time. Unfortunately, their last mission took on an entirely different turn as it was their most difficult, sacrificing their lives to stop a terrorist attack from the infamous Red Skull successor, Albrecht Koenig, terrorist Albert Malik
With their untimely demise, Benjamin Franklin Parker and Maybelle Parker (formerly Riley) became the primary caretakers of Peter Parker. Unfortunately, given the clandestine nature of Richard and Mary’s missions, much of the money was unavailable to assist in Peter’s upbringing, instead being reserved in a trust fund. Growing up in the “blue collar” working class (with Benjamin Parker being a mechanic), Peter Parker would be subjected to the teasing of his peers starting in middle school, coinciding with his focus in his studies alongside his “nerdy” interests such as computers, fantasy and comic books. Despite this, Peter Parker lived a fairly happy life, possessing a great deal of love and admiration for his Uncle Ben and Aunt May, both of whom were strong supportive moral figures in his life. Entering Midtown High School marked a transitional period for Peter as he began developing feelings of resentment toward his peers who looked down on for his working class background and interests in academia, especially toward Eugene “Flash” Thompson, star quarterback of Midtown High School’s football team. He proclaimed that he would surpass his peers and “show them all” what he could do in regards to his intellectual pursuits. Despite his general position of being a “wallflower”, he did possess some friendly acquaintances in class, such as high school senior Jessica Campbell, who would mysteriously vanish after her graduation.
However, everything would change for Peter at the end of his sophomore year of high school. During an end-of-year high school trip to a laboratory of Advanced Idea Mechanics (then considered a legitimate scientific organization). Interested in bio-chemistry, he and a few other classmates (such as Cindy Moon and Carl King) were drawn to the so-called “super spiders”, genetically-modified and radiation-treated spiders that possessed amazing properties. One such in particular escaped unnoticed and would bite Peter Parker by the hand, changing his life forever…
Trivia Notes: His favorite foods are his Aunt May’s wheatcakes (pancakes made with a mix of buckwheat and whole wheat flour along with molasses), New York style pizza and New York style hotdogs. Despite his primary interest being biochemistry, Peter is also skilled in mechanics because of his early years observing his Uncle Ben fixing appliances along with his work as a mechanic. His first successful fix job was the family camera. His role models growing up (aside from his Uncle Ben) were primarily Captain America (Steve Rogers), Tony Stark and Max Modell. His hobbies include working on appliances, reading comic books and science fiction novels, playing on arcade machines and more recently, computers (his first one being a ThinkPad.) Despite this, he is not a fan of Star Wars. Has a preference to some of the older science fiction novels. Despite lacking much athletic ability and interest, Peter Parker is an avid Mets fan and relates heavily to them, describing them as “a bunch of lovable losers who hit the occasional home run by accident.” Peter identifies and was raised as a secular Jew; both of his parents came from Jewish backgrounds alongside being raised in Queens. He celebrates the traditional Jewish holidays in a historical context, but not over other holidays (as in he will celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah) while not adhering to the religious rules (such as kosher.) An additional reason for his relative isolation is due to being the youngest of his peers in class.
Name: Spider-Man Secret Identity: Peter Benjamin Parker Nicknames: "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" Other Aliases: "The Bombastic Bagman" (civilian wrestling identity) Status: Active Date of Birth: August 10, 1980 Current Age: 15 (1995) Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Brown Height: 5’7” Gender: Male Orientation: Heterosexual Species: Human; Mutate Known Familial Relationships: Maybelle "May" Parker (née Riley) [paternal aunt], Benjamin "Ben" Franklin Parker [paternal uncle], Richard Laurence Parker [father], Mary Theresa Parker (née Fitzpatrick) [mother], William Fitzpatrick [maternal grandfather] Occupation: Adventurer, High School Student, Freelance Photographer (Daily Bugle) Martial Status: Single Education Level: High school (not graduated; junior year) Location: Forest Hills, Queens, New York Affiliations: Midtown High School (student), The Daily Bugle (freelance photographer/independent contractor) Professional Relationships: John Jonah Jameson Jr (boss; chief editor/publisher), Joseph Robbie Robertson (supervisor; editor-in-chief), Known Allies: N/A Known Enemies: The Chameleon, The Crime-Master, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, The Tinkerer Nationality: American (New Yorker) *= deceased
Personality: "With great power must come great responsability" are the words that have defined Peter since his tragedy as a high-schooler. With the death of his uncle and its associations with his own lack of action, Peter is committed to helping people out as much as he can with his own strengths and skills. This motivation to do the right thing, even in the face of adversity and disdain is admirable though not without flaws. His early adolescent years of relative friendlessness and social isolation meant that he would often have difficulty in interacting with people in a close stance and would lead to an independent streak early on. Despite this, he is not without charm as he possesses a sharp wit seen through the use of one-liners and observations. While in his civilian life he uses it to joke around his peers, in the heat of combat, he uses to masquerade his fears, using them as a buffer while also using it as psychological warfare against his enemies. His keen analysis from the interactions between him and those around him from their reactions to jokes in certian situations lets him get a grasp on how they are.
Despite this, Peter remains awkwardly endearing at heart. He is passionate about his "nerdy" hobbies and tends to act sheepish whenever he is given the chance to talk on them or granted attention to it, especially by pretty girls. He can sometimes be shy when meeting new people, a reason his humor and wit come into play. In many ways, he is seen as a younger brother among his older peers of the hero community. Often equal parts exaseperating and endearing yet maintaining a high level of respect toward his commitment to his moral obligations. However, he also stands out as his approach with humor to confront tragedy means he can be at odds with his more serious, stoic or melancholic peers. Addtionally, his social awkwardness means he often has trouble trusting people out of fear that they may get hurt by his life and some suspect he has developed an inferiority complex as his guilt causes him to focus more on his failures than his successes. Said complex likely resulted additionally to how he became hungry for attention during his brief stint as a wrestler and how he views said desire for attention to have led to his tragedy. Ultimately though, he is driven by his good heart and a desire to do good, to fully live up to the responsabilities and capabilities his powers granted him and what his loved ones believe that he can do.
Powers & Abilities: Spider-like Physiology- Spider-Man possesses the generic abilities and capabilities associated with spiders, though calibrated to be proportioned to human size and mass. Additionally, said capabilities are further augmented and enhanced due the genetically-modifed and radioactive treatment thrust upon the "spider spiders." This includes this far: Superhuman Physiology: Spider-Man’s possesses superior strength, speed, agility, durability and stamina, all surpassing baseline human capabilities. He is able to lift and move up to 7 tons. Additionally, due to his adolescence, it’s believed that adulthood he would be able to move and handle up to 10 tons. He also possesses superior reflexes and can achieve perfect equilibrium in virtually any position and spot. Wall-Crawling: Spider-Man is able to cling onto walls, ceilings and any other sort of position due to a strange alteration in his body’s make up. This “attraction” allows him to stick onto whatever surface he can handle while also maintaining his outfit on him, keeping villains from unmasking him. He also utilizies this to maintain superior grip onto heavy objects and in the surface at the same time. Enhanced Regenerating and Healing: Spider-Man heals at an accelerated pace and at more optimum and efficient level. This includes but not limited to being able to heal off otherwise permanent damage with good treatment. Injuries that would take years may take only months and injuries that would take months may only take weeks. Additionally, this likely led to the improvement of his eyesight (to no longer needed glasses) and maintaining his body in optimal condition. He also possesses a powerful immune system. Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses a precognitive sense he dubs his “spidey sense.” Instinctively warning him of dangers or threats, it’s connected to his muscle and brains as to instinctively dodge out of the way and training it allows it to be consciously applied to “abstract” dangers, such as threatening individuals or situations that are not immediately threatening or lethal. However, because of its instinctual base, there is a lack of details and thus Spider-Man must rely on deduction to locate the threat. Genius-level Intellect: Among the smartest people of the planet, Peter Parker's intellect rivals most adults and as he learns more, would achieve greater heights in intellect. He has already displayed a strong aptitude in biochemistry, mechanics, physics, mathematics and chemistry amongst other sciences and engineering. Due to his superhuman capabilities, he can channel his intellect over into his heroics to find the solution needed. He is also a skilled inventor and engineer, being able to create his webshooters on a limited budget and with secondhand materials.
Tools and Equipment:
- Spider-Man suit (Version 1.1): Spiderman's first costume, modified for superhero activity. Based on as a wrestler outfit, it also took inspiration from a wetsuit and allows Spider-Man to move and be acrobatic while providing a good amount of protection from the cold. He uses a version of his "wall-crawling" adhesion to stick the costume onto him and remain in the best position along with the mask and gloves. During the cold, he wears thermal underwear underneath for further protection.
- Web-shooters: Peter's first prominent invention, they are wrist-mounted devices that hold the artificial webbing Peter created for his work. With the press of his middle and ring finger, he can release a burst of silk-like material that solidifes in contact with air. The substance was created from various materials from Peter's high school lab. It functions much like spider-silk though is not permanent. It dissolves within the hour. The device was inspired by fishing lines and was created through Peter's experience with appliances and other mechanical materials. His costume carries extra packs of web fluid whenever he runs out.
Origin: The transformation of Peter Benjamin Parker into who many in the distant future would consider the greatest hero, Spider-Man began at the end of his sophomore year in high school. After the fateful bite with one of the "super-spiders", Peter began experiencing fevers and muscle pains, confining him to bedrest. After recovery, he awoke to discover a very surprising transformation. Gaining considerable muscle mass, an additional two inches in height and no longer needing glasses, he was not the same Peter Parker that many knew him as. With this came a growth in confidence, especially after conducting tests on himself and observing that his strength, agility and other capabilities have been enhanced to superhuman levels. Additionally, he gained other capabilities, such as being able to climb up and cling onto walls. Deciding to maintain this a secret, he began practicing control over his newfound strength alongside with practicing to maintain appearances.
His search for purpose was answered one day when visiting his Uncle Ben at his workplace and noting that an amateur wrestling tournament was accepting applicants and with grand winner receiving a briefcase of cash as the grand prize. For the next couple weeks, Peter worked for the neighbors for the entrance fee while also buying materials to create a costume of sorts to hide his identity. However, unable to finish his mask, he was forced to improvise by taking the discarded paperbag of another wrestler's sack lunch and creating it as a makeshift mask. When the head of the tournament asked for his identity, he proclaimed himself as "The Bombastic Bagman". Unsurprisingly, the Bombastic Bagman dominated the wrestling competition, going through the brackets to end up winning the entire tournament. Despite this, he would be surprised that he would end up beign short-changed as the Bombastic Bagman's near dominance in the fights meant a decease in bets against him being made. Despite Peter's protests (along with some surprising support froma couple of the wrestlers), the fine print detailed that the proceedings would come from the bettings. Peter was forced to take the money that he did manage to earn and began storming out.
His life changed in a fateful decision where he neglected to hear the cries for help from said wrestling manager. From the little he overhead, he was being robbed by an ex-custodian of the place, the latter who accused the wrestling head of withholding pay from him and the other employees. Rather than getting involved, he decided to keep walking. After changing out of his outfit, he began walking home before noticing a police car stopping next to him, identifying him as Peter Parker. The police officer exited the car and informed him of the tragedy...
Benjamin Franklin Parker had been shot a few blocks over.
Riding in the police car, Peter Parker could not hold back his tears at witnessing the last moments of his uncle's life... the man who raised him. Grief turned to rage and as the scene attracted more attention, he quietly bowed out to let the police do their work, as he put it. However, he heard everything. Enough about the man who shot his uncle. That he was still close by and could be recognized by a mark on his face along with a certain accent in voice and wearing a stained jacket. Fueld by anger, Peter scoped all of the blocks, running on the rooftops. Having disguised himself once more, it did not take long for him to corner the man in an alley. Lifting him by his collar, he angrily interrogated the man over his murder. However, when the man spoke, the world froze. It was the ex-custodian. The one he could've stop and chose not to. He explained that after robbing his former boss and trying to run, he ran into Ben Parker accidentally, the latter having left work late. Initially helping the man up, Ben became surprised at the duffel bag and the sounds of polcie made him realize the man in front of him was a robber. Desperate to not lose the money, the man pulled out a gun, trying to intimidate Ben into leaving. However, rather than leave, Ben attempted to talk the man down and nearly succeeded, but the man's panic caused him to accidentally press the trigger and shoot Ben.
After his confession, the man's panic left him, resigned. Peter's rage meanwhile led him to break a hole in the wall next to the man. He could not do it. Not take revenge. It was not what Uncle Ben would do. It's not what he should do. His hatred and grief turned inward and a deep sense of shame grew in him. Breaking into further tears, he instead shoved tossed the man out of the alley when the cops showed up and he turned himself in. Peter meanwhile headed back home. The money now looked repulsive to him. Yet he recalled what Uncle Ben told him.
"With great power must come great responsability."
He acted irresponsably. He should've been better.
He will be better.
Using part of the money to pay for funeral costs, he used the remaining amounts to create a new suit. Taking inspiration from his uncle's favorite red jacket, he made into the red and blue. Additionally, he made himself something to restrain people. Earlier, he began working on artificial webbing, to act the same as spider silk. Utilizing his biochemistry knowledge and skill in mechanics, he made himself webshooters. He could use it to make emergancy ropes and web up villains.
By summer's end, criminals and gang members found themselves webbed up when the cops showed up. Kids were safely escorted home and crime began lowering down. Meanwhile, Peter Parker, looking to find a way to supply the lost income after the death of his Uncle Ben, took on the position of a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle, who despite the cankterous nature of JJJ Jr, provided a flexible schedule for him to photograph events. Peter proceeded to use the classic camera he fixed up and improved upon for his work. And so began the rumors... of the Spider-Man.
Trivia Notes: Peter Parker did not rely solely on his superhuman capabilities to win his matches. He possesses a surprising knowledge of the fundamentals of wrestling as well as the rules of wrestling matches. This was due to growing up watching wrestling with his Uncle Ben’s co-workers whenever he would spend time at his uncle’s workplace. Peter also created the Bombastic Bagman outfit himself. He was taught by his Aunt May how to sew (she viewed it as an important skill and to bond with Peter, given she taught Mary before him.) Learning how to sew helped develop his finesse in handling small parts. Unsurprisingly, it also led contributed to his being teased-at in Midtown High. The Spider-Man uniform was based on the properties of a scuba suit and the usage of wrestling outfits. While the appearance of the suit was designed and completed by Peter, the fundamentals and majority of the outfit was actually created by Big Ronnie's Custom Battle Spandex, having opened days prior by "Big" Ronnie, an immigrant from the former USSR. Peter was one of her first clients and she assisted in the creation of both the Bombastic Bagman costume and the fundamentals of the Spider-Man uniform, which convinced her to cater her store/tailory to wrestlers and later superheroes. During the fall and winter months, Peter would counter the cold through the usage of skintight thermal clothing underneath the suit. The webshooters started out as a passion project from his newfound interest in spiders after obtaining his powers, utilizing his expertise in biochemistry. They were made from various leftover mechanical parts and junkyard scraps. He took inspiration from fishing rods as a starting point. He has kept the “Bombastic Bagman” outfit in a duffel bag in the closet. His inability to toss it out is attributed to maintaining as a reminder on who he was compared to who he needs to be. Peter was, in fact, aware of the rules of the tournament regarding his pay coming from wagers made. His dominance of his opponents in the ring was the result of his self-indulgence of being stronger than everyone else there. He took great pleasure in winning his fights handily, even taking the time to make quips and utilizing mike skills in the ring. This indulgence of his ego was partially why he made less money than he would've otherwise. The “Kick-Me” sign was added as a hazing joke by the wrestling manager. It contributed both in Peter’s aggression at the man and part of why some of the other wrestlers took his side. Peter signed the form under the name of “Bombastic Bagman” to avoid revealing he was a minor. It was permissible due to the questionable nature of the amateur competition. The radiation used to create the superspiders at AIM are in fact a variant form of “Vita-Rays”, the radiation associated in creating Captain America. These “Vita-Ray” variants contributed to Peter being granted the spider’s powers along with an enhanced healing factor and his threat-based precognition or “spider sense” (which appears to be a superenhanced version of the “flight or fight” instinct.)

Prior occupations: babysitter, waitress Martial Status: Widowed Education Level: High school (graduated) Location: Forest Hills, Queens, New York Known Relationships: Benjamin "Ben" Franklin Parker [husband], Richard Laurence Parker [brother-in-law], Mary Theresa Parker (née Fitzpatrick) [sister-in-law]*, Peter Benjamin Parker [nephew/ward] Affiliations: Starbucks Nationality: American (New Yorker) *= deceased
Personality: Benjamin Franklin Parker's life motto was "with great power must come great responsability." Ben Parker attributed the formation of this philosophy in regards to his time as a US Army Military Police Officer; he referred it as coming both from his beliefs as he as an individual can do as a member of the US army and as what the United States should do as one of the two superpowers at the time growing up. Pre-service life though maintained he always dictated life as formed from responsability. Hence why he was driven to serve as a role model for his younger brother, Richard and did everything to make sure his younger brother would turn out well. A believer in hard work and integrity, Ben Parker possessed a drive to do good. Growing up in the post World War II era as a young Jewish boy, he was also well-aware of the prejudices faced and strived to treat everyone equally. Hard-working, loving and down-to-earth, Benjamin Parker was a very enjoyable person to be around. Owing to his blue-collared workhood, he is always very open and honest with his opinions on matters, a matter that differentiate him from his more softspoken and secretative younger brother. Another seperation was temper as Ben was the man to show his temper outwardly when someone hurt those he cared about. Overall, Ben Parker followed his heart, formed his philosophy from it and he would in turn pass on that legacy of goodness onto his nephew, Peter.
Maybelle Parker is a very maternal person, born from her own troubled past. Having witnessed her parents' consistent arguments as a child and later their subsequent falling out, it led May to becoming financially focused and on finding stability. She also developed a tendency to speak her mind and being a confident if hurt woman. However, she changed considerably meeting Ben Parker. Initially dismissive of him in favor of the charming rogue Jerome Jackson, she fell for Ben when he saved her from becoming an unwitting accomplice to Jerome. She further changed upon having taken her nephew in to raise. While she showed concern due to her own background, May quickly came to indulge in motherhood, wanting to provide her nephew that stability her life lacked growing up. However, she never lost her tendency toward sharp-witted comments nor her independent streak. It just became tempered with the wisdom of age and the protective instinct in becoming a surrogate mother for her nephew, as her stern lectures are tinged with intense undertones. However, her own concerns on stability meant she could occasionally be overprotective of Peter. She also places a good deal on faily and encourages Peter to open more to his peers, likely based on her regrets on having lost touch with her siblings and cousins. With the loss of her husband, May has been struggling more with providing with Peter while also helping him grow to be the man he is meant to become.
History: Benjamin Franklin Parker was born the first son of a Jewish couple in Queens in 1940. He was raised initially by his mother as his father went out to fight in World War II. After the war through, his parents both began working jobs to ensure stability in the post-war world. Growing up, Ben often played with the other children on the street and like many others, was a large fan of Captain America and his team, the All-Winners Squad, an elite squad who infilitrated the heart of Nazi Germany's secret laboratories. His father in fact once gave Ben a picture of the squad to his son when he returned home. However, life changed in 1951 when Ben's father would become drafted in the Korean War and would end up losing his life there in 1952. Ben's mother would go on to work full-time after a few years and at 15, Ben Parker would become the primary influence for his younger brother Richard Parker. This transistional period of becoming man of the house helped Benjamin take on the foundations of growing up and applying the aspects of responsability, something his younger brother would emulate. By 18 though, Ben would become the full caretaker of his brother after an accident robbed them of their mother. As such, Ben would need to take time away from school and work to assist in his brother's education while also relying on some family friends for support. However over time it became harder to do so. However, fate changed when through a favor of a friend of their father, Richard could go into the New York Military Academy in exchange for Ben enlisting over for the Vietnam War, an offer that the Parker brothers would accept. It was 1964, Richard being 14 and Ben being 24. Over the next few years, while Richard excelled in the Academy, Ben Parker would rise through the ranks and become a US Army Police Officer. He would serve for about five years and his experiences in Vietnam reinforced his dedication toward responsability yet also he remained unwavered in doing the right thing.
When Ben came back, he was welcomed back by his brother Richard, who would remain in the military and would later go on for intelligence. Ben would end up completing college through the GI Bill and during that time, he would meet his future wife, May Reily. After an initialy rough start, the two dated and within a few years, they would end up getting married with Ben at 31 and May at 28. While they planned to start a family, a miscarriage occurred that would keep the couple from trying, instead devoting themselves to helping out the neighborhood. The wedding was a small affair. While Benjamin worked as a mechanic thanks to the work gained from his associate's degree, May worked within the neighborhood with her friend Anna May-Watson. The two lived a quiet life for several years of their marriage and the only notable moments were May's attempts at finding her family while also the two keeping up with Ben's brother Richard, who would accel and go to become an intelligence officer, eventually working for the CIA. Ben would insist on his brother returning to civilian life, not wanting Richard to lose himself in that sort of work. However, he was happy in seeing Richard finding a partner for himself in Mary Fitzpatrick. They secretly dated for several years before getting privately married. However, the large shock came with the birth of Peter Benjamin Parker, the child of Richard and Mary. The next three years had Peter coming and going from his parents' home to that of his aunt and uncle's over the years. Richard told Ben that after one last mission, he would indeed return to civilian life. Unfortunately, the final mission cost Richard and Mary their lives and while they were unable to know the full details, the news was that Richard and Mary died as heroes. Ben was 40 upon learning the news of the loss of his younger brother.
Ben assumed full responsability alongside May in raising Peter Parker as their own and found a great deal in joy in raising the child they could not have and helping Peter become a good young man. Their quiet home life became more active as they raised Peter and went through the ups and downs of parenthood, such as birthdays, questions on parenting and career choices. During Peter's high school year, Ben did note Peter began changing and knew it was more important than ever that Peter learned on how great power needed to come with great responsability. Ben Parker died of a gunshot wound in July 22, 1995, attempting to talk down a thief. He is survived by his wife May Parker and his nephew, Peter Parker.
Maybelle Riley was born the middle daughter of the Rileys, a family of Irish-American descent in May of 1943. Much like her future husband, May was born into the working class. Unlike her husband though, her family life was rougher. Her parents' once happy marriage ended up gradually breaking down due to the injury of her father, Albert Riley, preventing him from going into the army and was not able to find substantial work, meaning that his brothers needed to help. Additionally, with her sisters and cousins, it just added to the growing expenses within the family. Eventully, her parents split ways and May had to be taken in by one of her uncles in after Albert left her mother. The financial troubles and subsequent followed influenced Maybelle. It helped ignite a powerful independent streak within her yet at the same time, it also caused her to grow distant from her family, epsecially with April Riley. Once her closest sister and now the family black sheep. Additionally, the upbringing also instilled an emphasis on financial security and perhaps having a bit of trouble with her choice in life partners.
Working her way through school, Maybelle defied expectations and graduated though she could not go to college due to financial reasons. Instead, she would take up waitressing and other odd jobs within to raise enough money for herself to eventually get an education beyond high school. While she may have lacked direction, she possessed spirit to make up for it and she would take on various odd jobs and so on within the city. She would even participate in various second-wave feminist protests in the 1960s. Despite this though, she never lost opportunity to try and better her life. One day, she would be charmed by Jerome Jackson, a handsome rogue though she was warned against him by Benjamin Parker, who worked in the carnival. Despite the rough start, Ben was correct s she would nearly become an unwitting accomplice in Jerome's attempt to rob a store, which is how he maintained his wealthy lifestyle and bought her the gifts. She punched him out in disgust and after Ben helped her prove her innocence and return the items, the two would begin to date. Sensing the hoensty, earnestness and stability Ben possessed, May was drawn to him while he was drawn to her fiery spirit. The two would date over the next few years before he proposed to her and she accepted.
The next several years were filled with a quiet life as he would support her decisions and vice versa, including her protests. However, when she was pregnant and then miscarried, it reminded her of her family and of what happened in the past. This led to a mild fear of starting a family and along with the miscarriage, did not try again to start one. Positives did come in her bonding with Mary Fitzpatrick, the girlfriend and later wife of her brother-in-law, Richard. She grew closer to Mary than she was to any of her sisters and given how Mary lacked a strong mother figure in her life, May took the opportunity to help Mary, especially with her own pregnancy. While initially worried to look after Peter, both when the Parkers were alive and then gone, she saw him as the son she never had and she focused primarily on providing him with the stable environment and life she did not have growing up. Though her happiness once more shattered upon the death of her husband, but she sought to continue. She used her waitress skills to get a new job at the new Starbucks opening up that were becoming all the rage. She may have lost Ben physically, but he would always be with her in spirit.
Trivia: May’s wheatcakes were a recipe she came up during her time as a waitress, having combined some leftover flours along with molasses when traditional ingredients were out. They were a big hit in the Parker family. Besides her wheatcakes, May is considered a talented baker, both in sweet and savory dishes though according to Ben, her meatloaf is not her strong suit. Ben never discussed much on the military though it would appear he left on an honorable discharge after reporting his superior and risking his own career in it. Ben was raised primarily Jewish, even having a bar mitzfah. Despite this, he never placed much emphasis on his faith. On the other hand, May is a Protestant Christian and has attended church regularly. Ben and occasionally Peter have accompanied her to be with her. Despite her faith, many of their Jewish neighbors consider May to be an “honorary Jewish mother”, something which she found humorous. Seen through her fretting of Peter along with her growing usage of expressions. Ben was a large influence on Peter’s interest in more “retro” aspects such as in Captain America (prior to his rescue) and in certain science fiction novels. May also enjoyed some of these hobbies as well. Despite Ben’s reluctance to discuss his military past, he did maintain a firearm in the house in the event it was needed to defend himself. He even taught May how to shoot, which he noted she picked up on it quicker than he did. Since her time working at Starbucks, she has gotten to appreciate and like coffee more. Peter occasionally hanged out there, liking the atmosphere. May has been trying to get Peter to meet her best friend’s niece though it has been difficult due to resistance on both sides. Ben has actually noted that she would be a perfect fit for Peter though noted neither are ready for it yet. May has a history of illnesses within the family within the Riley family, something which has been of concern both toward Ben and Peter. May still has expressed interest in continuing her education though has not decided what just yet.

(First Era) Nationality: American (New Yorker) *= deceased
Personality: In many ways, Richard Laurence Parker took after his older brother Benjamin. He was an honest and hard-working man, committed to doing the right thing and sticking to the values of responsability. Perhaps even more so than Ben, given how he felt indebited to Benjamin for putting his life on the line in the hopes of securing both of them good futures. As such, he possessed a great deal of determination to accomplish what was needed. Despite this, one could say he was grayer than Ben. His time working within the Spec Ops, the CIA and S.H.I.E.L.D. meant he had to be a bit more morally ambigious, but he would rather leave than compromise on his principles if need be. He viewed killing as part of the job yet he valued life much like his brother. While Ben was laid-back and easy-going with his charm, Richard was more upfront about his charisma, being known as a sweet-talker and having a mild roguish side, best seen in his flirtations with his wife. However, he did possess his own awkwardness, as fatherhood brought out his insecurities and strived to be the best he could be. Despite his silver tongue, he was also more soft-spoken and secretative in some of his answers, an influence from his career in espionage. Through it all though, he died as he lived, doing the right thing and his only regrets being not able to return to his family.
Mary Theresa Parker is one of the guys. Raised by a single father, she felt more comfortable engaging in activites with the guys than with hanging out with the ladies. Her living in a man's world only encouraged to reached the top and her father's support gave her the boost she needed to climb forward. Possessing a great confidence, she devoted herself to the job at hand and what she needed to do. She placed great value in intelligence and morality, which is what drew her to Richard when they met in the CIA. She, like her husband, was not afraid of having to put down certain people, but she did not let it taint her. However, the lack of a mother figure in her life left her anxious on motherhood and she became very appreciative of Ben and May for their support. She saw May like the older sister she never had and while she never embraced traditional feminity, she grew more comfortable in the softer aspects of life. The death of her own father further pushed her to take family into consideration, which is why she planned to leave the life and return to civilian life. While she did not live to see that dream, she remained to her moral codes on being her best and driven by her devotion to her loved ones.
History: Richard Laurence Parker was born in 1950, when his older brother was already 10. He knew little of his father as Mr. Parker died over in the Korean War less than a year later. While Ben would do his best to be a role model for his younger brother, it did leave an impact on Richard's development growing up. Richard was close to their mother as she became his primary parent while Ben struggled also to be the man of the house. Richard took her death difficult as he was but a boy of 8 when it happened and thus leaving Benjamin as the provider for the two of them. Family friends and neighbors assisted for them, yet Richard would often spend his time independent and while he was certainly an ace in education, he also had a bit of a troublemaking side and this element of roguishness was ultimately pushed him into his career in espionage. The two brothers lived in varying conditions over the years until Richard was 14. Through a family friend, Richard could be admitted into the New York Military Academy if Benjamin enlisted. Both brothers agreed and while Ben served abroad, Richard soared in the academy. His latent wit and prowess became fully unleashed as he was determined to fulfill the hard work and responsabilities of the example Ben set out. His lack of a strong father figure led to that as he would earn the eye of a former OSS operative, William Fitzpatrick, who became a mentor of sorts to him.
Despite his intense promise and prestige, Richard had a difficult time staying in place. He did not exactly fit in with most places. After the Military Academy, he would go on to join the prestigious West Point Academy and continue soaring to new heights. His mentor also followed, due to Fitzpatrick having pulled strings to get his daughter Mary to join in, where she and Richard engaged in a friendly rivalry. Richard graduated for purposes of electrical engineering and would go on to become a Captain within the Special Forces. However, army life disagreed with him and he began looking elsewhere for different opportunities. William then offered him to join the CIA, where he met his old friend Mary once more. Their professional friendship evolved into romance though a secret one due to the nature of the CIA, including a private wedding. However, when it became more difficult to hide their relationship, he would leave alongside her and join S.H.I.E.L.D. through an old friend of Will's, Nicholas "Fury" Slade.
Soon after joining S.H.I.E.L.D., their life became changed when Mary became pregnant, the news revealed when they went to rescue a Canadian operative known as Agent 10 from a terrorist splinter cell in China. The agent, also known as Logan, was the first to congratulate them on parenthood when they returned for a check up. The pregnancy progressed and they took the time off to spend time with their family, especially with William Fitzpatrick's illness. On August 10, 1980, their son, Peter Benjamin Parker was born. Initially a little scared, Richard took to fatherhood with heart and wanted to provide his son with the peace of mind he did not have as much as a child and it gave him a stronger sense of belonging. It was ultimately Peter's birth that had helped him find his purpose. He spent time playing with his son and able to enjoy in genuinely relaxing. However, the death of William Fitzpatrick from lung cancer has also brought him to reality and realized he did not want to leave his son fatherless. He left Peter before at Ben's whenever the two had work, but they would always come back. He decided to do one last mission with Nick before he would leave the life and indeed it would be his and his wife's final mission. An ordinary mission into a terrorist base led to the discovery of a Neo-Nazi splinter group, headed by the second Red Skull, Albrecht Koenig... aka, the traitorous double agent, Albert Malik. His cell had been working to obtain an occult item of terrible power, The Darkhold, and planning on using it to resurrect the original Red Skull, Johann Schmidt to lead them to prominence. Richard led the charge to stop him and gave his life to keep The Darkhold from falling into the hands of the neo-Nazi group. His last minutes was buying time for his wife to escape from the exploding base. He is survived by his son Peter Parker and Richard's sister-in-law, May Parker.
Mary Theresa Parker was born in 1953, the daughter of famous former OSS agent, William "Wild Will" Fitzpatrick. Her mother, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, would die when Mary was just five, leaving Will to raise his daughter by himself. Wanting to ensure his daughter would grow up capable to protect herself, Will encouraged Mary's tomboyish aspects and taught her many things that would be associated with young boys. Mary, driven by the teasings of children, would go to defy expectations and become her own woman over time. Her father's connections provided her the rare opportunity to overcome the stigma of being a girl over in the early 60s and worked her butt off to excel in the various prestigious academies she would become enrolled in. While it was her way in, her own skill and hard work was what kept pushing her to be better and better. While she made herself some friends, she would not really connect with anyone of her peers up until she met Richard Parker back in college.
The first woman attending West Point, it was a trial run and one that would prove to be successful as the academy would admit female cadets years later down the line. Intelligent and witty, she was a quick thinker who analyzed situations for the best outcome and quite good at communicating with people, learning multiple languages down the line for her work. Proudly being the first woman to graduate from West Point, she would end up working for the CIA and rising through the ranks, being a data analyst and translator. However, she was not content for deskwork and before long, got the need to be a field agent. What really stirred this was reuniting with her old friend Richard. Using their past camarederie to be his assigned partner, it became little surprised that they would become romantically involved, with their various field work as CIA operatives being impromptu dates. However, while Mary had little illusions on the darker matters of her or her father's work, she did find it somewhat emotionally taxing some of what the CIA would be doing, especially since her old co-workers in data would share what they have been hearing. The discovery of the depths of MK ULTRA were one of the reasons she left and alongside Richard, would join S.H.I.E.L.D. through a family friend of her father's, Nicholas Slade, more commonly known by his moniker, "Nick Fury."
After her marriage to Richard, Mary began returning to civilian life through her in-laws, Benjamin and May Parker. She hit it off well with Ben though it took a little while longer with May. However, after learning about her upcoming pregnancy, she worked the courage to ask May for advice and through the months, the two grew much closer as family. Growing up as an only child and lacking a mother figure outside of a family friend of a nurse, it provided Mary with opportunities to truly hang around with a woman much like her, including being in protests or learning matters like sewing or baking. She became more laid back and found a form of inner peace after an action-filled life. However, her father's death from lung cancer (likely from his years of smoking cigars among his past work in coal mining) had been a bitter reminder of the risk her son had. She ultimately realized she needed to leave her espionage life behind. One final mission for Nick and then she could leave it all behind for her family. However, her final mission gained extra weight with the discovery of the neo-Nazi splinter cell headed by a former co-worker who was a double agent, Albrecht Koenig... aka Albert Malik. She and her husband worked to stop his plan involving The Darkhold. Her last minutes was thinking of her family in trying to escape, refusing to leave her husband behind. She is survived by her son Peter Parker and her sister-in-law, May Parker.
Trivia: Richard and Mary both earned Bachelor's degrees, with Richard in electrical engineering and Mary in computing. Both Richard and Mary enjoyed May's wheatcakes, with Mary attempting to make her own version, but never quite succeeding. Mary was better at meatloaf than May though and enjoyed barbeques. According to "Logan", Richard never went white so fast as the day he got the news that he would become a father. Richard planned to go into electrical engineering and Mary as a diplomat upon retiring from espionage, including moving themselves along with Ben and May to a nicer neighborhood to repay everything the two have done for them. Mary is Jewish through her mother and William worked to ensure that Mary would always have some tie to that part of her mother. This included granting Mary a bat mitzah when she came of age. Despite their military backgrounds, Richard and Mary both empathizes with the hippie movement and the cultural rebellion that happened. Richard says this was because of his background growing up in less fortunate conditions while Mary notes this was because her father was also a rebel, and passed the spirit to her. Richard and Mary both decided since the day Peter was born to try and steer their son away from the military life out of the fear of losing him as well as the changing of the times that was going on. Richard and Mary lived in Manhatten with Peter along with Mary's father Will during his last years. According to Mary, Will took a shining to Peter, noting the "little guy" was tougher than he looks. Many of their missions in the CIA and especially for S.H.I.E.L.D. remained classified. Many were espionage and data retrieval missions though some more than others were secret even from S.H.I.E.L.D. themselves, which they hid in their own private locker and left for Peter. One file was only successfully used for S.H.I.E.L.D. titled MM and believed to be connected to the LMDs. Their death meant they could not assist much with Ben and May, at least until Peter came of age as they left a trust fund for him to help create a better future for him and his family. Other factors of Peter's inheritance includes a farm owned by Mary's father where Mary grew up and liked riding horses as a hobby. Richard and Mary Parker were granted Medals of Honor for their sacrifice, but it was post-mortem and not officially announced until the early 21st century when their son Peter was an adult. On the day Richard and Mary Parker went to leave Peter with Ben and May for their final mission, Ben and May noted that Mary looked a little off though they were unable to identify what was it specifically. They did make some preparations for the event if Richard and Mary would not come back as they would be gone for nearly a year.
- #46160 Civilian Subject: Flash Thompson (1995)
Keys: 6160 Civilian Subject: Flash Thompson (1995)
Name: Eugene "Flash" Thompson Date of Birth: September 17, 1979 Current Age: 16 (1995) Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Blond Height: 5’9” Gender: Male Orientation: Heterosexual Species: Human (baseline) Occupation: High School Student (civilian) Martial Status: Single Education Level: High school (not graduated; still in school) Location: Forest Hills, Queens, New York Known Relationships: Harrison Thompson (father), Rosalynn "Rosie" Thompson (mother), Jesse Thompson (younger sister) Affiliations: Midtown High School (student) Nationality: American (New Yorker) *= deceased
Personality: On first glance, Eugene "Flash" Thompson seems to be your average everyman jock. Popular with the ladies, confident, a bit brash and not ashamed in letting people know. It was little surprise given his capabilities on the field and possessing a sort of charisma that attracted most people to him. However, he is much more than he appears. While he is boisterous and rough, he is above foul play. He has a strong sense of integrity and he ain't gonna go low as cheating. He's also sharper than he appears; while his grades are nothing to write home about, he does have a capability to guage people how they are.
Beyond that though, he also has a temper problem, a result of his rough upbringing and how his father escaped accountability for his drinking problem and subsequent growing abuse. As such, he tends to get physical and provactive toward people that rub him the wrong way, one reason or another. This is the crux of his antagonism with Peter Parker. However, he does mean well and if he screwed up, he's going to apologize for it. Additionally, as a result of his powerlessness in his life, he tends to root for heroes as well as judging more fairly. As such, it was why he was able to guage Spider-Man as a good hero. Overall, Flash is ultimately a good person who nonetheless has vices to deal with and growing up to become a better man.
History: Eugene "Flash" Thompson was born the oldest child of Harrison and Rosalynn Thompson over in Queens, New York on September 17, 1979. His father Harrison Thompson was an officer of the NYPD while his mother Rosalynn was a home maker. At the age of three, Eugene Thompson became an older brother with the birth of Jesse Thompson. The Thompsons' home life started out as that of any average American family although it soured due to Harrison Thompson's descent to alcoholism. While celeberated as an honest cop, his rough childhood and experiences as an officer drove him to drink, which unleashed repressed anger and even violent tendecies on his children whenever drunk. This escalation of tension in the Thompson household as well as Rosalynn's continued defense of her husband's attitude (albeit though she did often prevent some violence) led to Eugene resenting both of his parents. Uponing entering high school, he took to football and became a rising star for his strength and speed out in the field, to where he was given the nickname "Flash."
It was also around this time that his own repressed issue came out in the form of bullying. Usually through the form of insults, his particular target was that of Peter Parker, beginning over in their freshman year. Through the course, Peter deal with verbal harassment and other physical problems, such as being left on a branch, usually require one of Thompson's team members to get him down to avoid getting him into trouble. Peter lacked any evidence toward Flash and after a while, he did stop physically bullying him, though did not stop insulting him (though Peter did not hesitate to counter.) However, after the transformation of Peter into Spider-Man and his growth spurt, the two became sort of aquaintances and Peter finds it hilarious how Flash Thompson is a colossal fan of Spider-Man, including to finding the Spider-Man fan club.
Trivia Notes: No one knows why Peter was his preferred target. Some have speculated it was because they were neighbors. Others believed that it was because his younger sister Jesse may have had a crush on Peter Parker. Those closer to Eugene and known of his rough homelife believe it was because he resented Peter having good parental figures. The closest that Eugene has admitted is that he didn't like how Peter seem to look down on the others, implying that he views Peter in a similar way the latter looks at the former. Despite he and Peter being at odds, one of the times they were capable of being civil and on relatively good terms was on talking about Captain America (as both were fans of his before his "grand return" upon his discovery in 1995.) Due to Harrison's positive record and Rosalynn's defense, Eugene was unsuccessful in convincing people of his father's violence toward him and his sister. As a result, he took to staying over at friends' houses and insisted on his younger sister going to sleepovers whenever their father would get drunk in order to avoid dealing with him. He has displayed an interest in joining the army should his football career not take off. Another commonality he and Peter share are being Mets fans. Ben Parker was one of the few who suspected Harrison Thompson's ill behavior toward his family when he interrupted a fight between him and Peter and while escorting Flash home, noted the aggressive stance of Harrison. Relying on his experience from his time as a soldier and military police officer, he managed to get Eugene to stay at a friend's house to avoid his dad's wrath. This moment of compassion led to Eugene to quit bullying on Peter. During the funeral of Ben Parker, Eugene Thompson showed up to offer genuine condolences to Peter. Peter responded to try and fight Eugene though the latter just took the verbal tirade and let Peter vent it out. Days later, Peter thanked Flash for showing up to the funeral and letting Peter vent. He was the only non-Parker there for the funeral (excluding the funeral staff and associates). He would later tell Peter he observed a man with a young girl watching them in a nearby tree, noting he wasn't sure if they were with them or not...
- #56160 Civilian Subject: Liz Allan (1995)
Keys: 6160 Civilian Subject: Liz Allan (1995)
Name: Elizabeth Allan-Raxton Date of Birth: March 8, 1980 Current Age: 15 (1995) Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Dark Brown Height: 5’7” Gender: Female Orientation: Heterosexual Species: Human (baseline) Occupation: High School Student (civilian) Martial Status: Single Education Level: High school (not graduated; still in school) Location: Forest Hills, Queens, New York Known Familial Relationships: Mark Allan-Raxton (brother), Wilson Allan (father), Doris Raxton (step-mother), Ms. Allan* (biological mother) Affiliations: Midtown High School (student) Nationality: American (Puerto-Rican, New Yorker) *= deceased
Personality: Elizabeth Allen is one of the "popular girls" over at Midtown High. A successful cheerleader and overall beloved student, she seems like she does not stand much from her peers. However, she also does not like accepting being messed with and she can have a bit of a feisty temper when need be. Additionally, while she seems to be disinterested in class like one may think her to be, she actually possesses a sharp with and has been improving her grades tremendously under her tutelage of Peter Parker. She is an affectionate and sweet young lady to her friends though don't cross her. She also is more observant than one would notice, being well aware of the issues her brother possesses. While she can be a bit snobby and judgmental, she is not a cruel person, but merely a young lady that needs to grow up much like everyone else.
History: Elizabeth Allan was born the youngest daughter of Wilson Allan, owner of the popular upper-middle class venue, the Avenue Dinner Club and an unknown Puerto-Rican woman. Growing up, Elizabeth or Liz for short, spent her time primarily under the care of her mother alongside her older brother Mark for most of their earlier youth. However, at the age of five, the unknown Ms. Allan passed away from unknown circumstances, of which the only details known are by Wilson Allan. However, it is speculated to have been work-related as soon after, the Avenue Dinner Club felt into financial jeopardy, the details of which remained undisclosed. It was for this and personal reasons the Allan family relocated over to Queens and going to Midtown. Liz was seven at the time.
Despite this period of financial instability, Liz remained an upbeat force within the house, which served to help her older brother and father, the former assumed responsabilities of the house while their father was at work. Though often times, Liz had to take care of Mark as he was prone to getting himself in danger. Eventually, Liz's life changed once more when her father brought home a new woman that he had been seeing, Doris Raxton. She had been a loose friend of the family, but grew closer over the years. When Liz was ten, Wilson and Doris married, combining their last names. While initially on awkward terms, Liz grew close to Doris Raxton and came to accept her as part of the family. Doris, being a strong independent woman, had an influence on Liz and on what she wanted to do with her life. She would take up cheerleading as an extracurricular activity to get out of the house and became one of the "popular girls" over at Midtown High, including dating Eugene "Flash" Thompson off and on.
She was among the first to notice Peter's sudden growth spurt and grew gradually more interested in him, especially when he began tutoring her at the request of her teacher. She has become Vice President of the Spider-Man Fan Club as well.
Trivia Notes: The details regarding Liz's mother are unknown, but Liz has noted her mother was a very good cook and often worked with her dad. This has led speculation that Ms. Allan was a prep chef at the Avenue Dinner Club and thus the relationship between her andWilson was illict. Others note that her death may have been a workplace accident, which is why the details are unknown. Despite having known her bith mother for a relatively short while, Liz remains true to her mother's roots, notably with an accent whenever she is speaking. She also wishes to try and find her biological mother's family. She also swears in Spanish when extensively upset. Her last name is the way it is because of how Mark and Doris retained their last names. Liz and Mark suggested how they got their last names to further cement Doris being their mother. Doris' response was one of shedding tears of happiness. Despite her initial lackluster grades, many attribute this to a lack of interest more than anything else. Evidenced as her grades improved dramatically when she began her tutelage under Peter Parker. She is a fan of the Chicago Cubs. Because of some influence from her father and likely spurred on by her stepmother, Liz displays interest and talent in becoming a businesswoman, which was why she agreed to be tutored by Peter since she knew that the days of when someone like her dad could get a business despite lackluster graders were likely done and gone. Liz has become more concerned over how her brother Mark has been doing. Namely in that she expressed concerns that Mark may be developing an addiction to gambling.

Personality: Integrity. Responsability. Openness. Those three words are among those used to describe John Jonah Jameson Jr. Other three words would be stubborn, ambitious and short-tempered. J Jonah Jameson is a determined figure who has the true spirit of a reporter and investigator and believing in the heart of the truth. This along with his incorruptible nature have made him a beacon of the spirit of journalism. At the core though. J Jonah Jameson harbors a gruff cynicism as a result of his past, both personally and professionally. He harbors intense distrust at figures who hide their identities, rooted in the two-faced nature of his father and as such, champions more down-to-earth everyman heroes. As such, his opinions on heroes can vary wildly and while he can be a harsh critic, his heart is usually in the right place. He is unafraid of authority and has often defied standards and norms, such as defending civil rights, challenging the mob up front and other bold claims. He has often cowed greater men of authority through sheer force of will and personality. He is often cankterous and belligerent of his employees though also protective of them and many have compared him to be a gruff but caring parental figure. At the same time, he can be dismissive of their problems and have a caustic sense of humor. He also presents himself with sharp judgment though often he can be stubborn when evidence is shown to be wrong. However, he does have his softer side as he shows unstrained pride in his son John, who is an accomplished astronaut and has looked out for his niece Mattie. Additionally, he assisted Betty Brant and even watches out for Peter Parker, even if he confesses to having suspicions of the kid. At the same time, his journalistic integrity has been questioned by his open suspicions and hostile opinion pieces on Spider-Man.
History: John Jonah Jameson II was born on August 5, 1945 to Bethany "Betty" Jameson and David Jameson. David Jameson was a popular war hero from WW2 and used the GI Bill to find his education and support his wife and newborn son in living the American dream. Growing up, J Jonah Jameson looked up to his warhero father, but that admiration turned away as his father turned increasingly hostile and physically abusive as he grew older. The only refuge they got was when David's brother, John Jonah Jameson I would visit though the two brothers would fight with one another. This early experience taught a painful lesson to J Jonah Jameson. That "No one's a hero every day of the week" and "Even the real heroes can't keep it up all the time." It was this sort of mentality that would led to his more cynical and distrustful view of "heroes" along with increased value in honesty and integrity. In his youth, he turned to the Boy Scouts to escape his troublesome homelife and expanded his extracurricular activities as he grew older. In high school, his interests were mainly boxing and photography. The former was started as a way of self-defense while the latter was a hobby he was introduced to by his sister and when he joined the photography club, he would meet his high school sweetheart and future wife, Joan. The three began dating after J Jonah Jameson defended her from sexual harassment from some of the school's jocks.
His long career within the Daily Bugle began even in high school, as his photography was often submitted to the Daily Bugle. He continued this work in college, butting heads with the editor of the college paper, Barney Bushkin. While JJJ was hot-headed and worked toward results, Barney was methodical and objective, often questioning those who worked under him. This trend continued when in a moment of surprise, J Jonah Jameson went overseas and became a war correspondent for the US Army during the Vietnam War. While many people were surprised by this, given his opposion toward David, he was inspired by Captain America, his childhood hero. However, he remained there to capture many of the wartime horrors and atrocities of the Vietnam War, something which embittered him even more during his return. It was only through sheer guts and guile that he avoided any major consequences for refusing to hide the truth of what was really going in Vietnam. He also stayed behind because of the news that his beloved Joan was expecting and he would become a family man. He was determined to become a better father than David ever was. However, during the birth of JJJ III, Jonah discovered that David was actually his stepfather and his biological uncle, with his real father being none other than the man he was named after. While he gained a form of understanding toward David in light of this along with also seeing combat, it just incentivized to be a better father toward his son. This drive was reinforced when his beloved Joan died when his son was just a child.
His recent tragedies had him turn over to his work in the Daily Bugle, where he worked to being promoted to head editor though he would be dealing with the Daily Bugle floundering financially. A break came when he would come to possess a small fortune bequeathed to him by his deceased wife Joan, which he used to find Jameson Publications. Initially using it to fund his wife's dream of making her own magazine, which he created as NOW Magazine, he would also use the resources of his new publication company to purchase the Daily Bugle and under his pen, it soared to new heights and became one of the most well-respected papers in New York City. All while raising his son with the help of his sister and helping to become a good man, with Jameson's proudest day being when he learned his son was accepted into NASA. Returning the favor to his sister, he would also watch over Maddie. However, things took a turn for the strange with the rise of strange costumed heroes and Jameson found himself on-edge and distrustful of the colorful crime-fighting crusader known as Spider-Man though he also earned an interesting new employee of sorts under the name of Peter Parker.
Trivia Notes: When asked on his disdain for Spider-Man, his reasons included but not limited to: blaming Spider-Man for the rise of "super-powered criminals", believing that Spider-Man is too soft on criminals, disdain on how he has taken attention away from "real heroes", crimes of vigilantism, Spider-Man's insistence on hiding his identity through a mask (he concedes the point on eyewear for practical purposes.) Others have speculated he does not actually hate Spider-Man, but uses the hero as a way to increase the sale of papers for the Daily Bugle. Others joke the whole started when the hero refused an exclusive interview with the Bugle. He has once worked under and admires infamous gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson in his youth. The two still communicate to this day. He was once accused of committing tax fraud in the past. He was found not guilty. John Jonah Jameson has considered a career in politics though finds his current work in the Daily Bugle too important for him to consider running for office. He has been a popular write-in choice for Mayor though. Jonah has mentioned that his strong sense of civil rights comes from him "hating everyone equally". This defense of minorities has been extended to mutants, mutates and even aliens and has often published scathing articles in response to politicians or hate-groups capitalizing on the so-called "mutant menace". In his words, "the only menaces are these #$%& monsters masquerading as men." While he gets along somewhat fairly with all employees, he has one of the more distinct relationships with Peter Parker. On the one hand, he does like the kid and sees a bit of himself in him regarding temper and supporting himself, even if he does enjoy messing with Parker often. However, he also mentions that he feels he is hiding something and is partially why the relationship is contract-based rather than salary based. He considered introducing his niece Mattie to Peter in the hopes that it would do him some good and help Mattie gain a more pro-active sense of responsability, but ultimately decided against it since it may be seen as unprofessional. He is however not usually bothered by workplace romances given how he accepted his secretary Betty Brant having a relationship with Peter Parker and later Ned Lee. He is usually seen smoking cigars despite the potential health concerns mentioned otherwise. He is a large fan of Captain America, which is considered one of the reasons why he can be more even-handed toward costumed heroes that have either open identities or identities protected by government law due to acting as sanctioned agents. He has taken to practicing Tai Chi to help cope with his blood pressure and has even mixed it in with his boxing.
- #76160 Civilian Subject: Betty Brant (1995)
Keys: 6160 Civilian Subject: Betty Brant (1995)
Name: Elizabeth "Betty" Brant Date of Birth: September 4, 1976 Current Age: 19 (1995) Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Brown Height: 5’7” Gender: Female Orientation: Heterosexual Species: Human (baseline) Occupation: Secretary Martial Status: Single Education Level: GED certificate Location: Manhatten, New York City Known Familial Relationships: Eleonore Brant (mother), Bennett Brant (older brother), Mr. Brant (father)* Affiliations: Daily Bugle (secretary) Professional Relationships: John Jonah Jameson Jr (boss; chief editor/publisher), Joesph "Robbie" Robertson (editor-in-chief; supervisor) Nationality: American (New Yorker, Pennsylvanian) *= deceased
Personality: Elizabeth "Betty" Brant can be best described as a woman who's tough of nails and wishes she did not have to be. While maintaining the youthfulness of her age, she has a subtle wariness that makes her seem and feel older than she actually is. Betty craves stability in her life after years of dealing with hardship and an irresponsible older brother. As such, Betty seeks out men who are strong and organized. However, rather than strong in the sense of physical appearance, she looks for people that don't go to cause trouble and looking to provide for themselves and their loved ones. She gained this attitude out of admiration for her mother, Eleonore, who was a single mom who balanced work with raising her two children. As such, she sought to provide and grow that inner strength for herself, to overcome any adversity like her mother did. At the same time, having done so at a young age has worn her out considerably and desires for normalcy and affection. Additionally, her poorer background along with having to drop out of high school has given her insecurities over herself as being a romantic partner, spurred on by anxities of whatever trouble her older brother has gotten into. Ultimately, she is a woman who had to grow up faster than she desired to and looks for the stability of a meaningful relationship yet underestimates her own inner strength.
History: Elizabeth "Betty" Brant was born on September 4, 1976 in Philiedelphia, Pennsylvania to a single mother, Eleonore Brant. Betty did not know much of her father though her little memories was recalling him of a strong father figure. She was only 3 (and her brother was 7) when Mr. Brant died, leaving the family without a breadwinner though Mr. Brant did leave the family a good sum of money to assist in their endeavors without him. Eleonore Brant would use the money to establish them over in New York City, which was a goal of her and her husbands'. She is able to find a job as the adminsitrative assistant to John Jonah Jameson Jr and becoming a good friend of his over the years. Established in Manhatten, the family tried to live a normal life for themselves. However, with Eleonore having to work often, the two were often latchkey children. Initially, Betty was quite close to her older brother Benny, who went to a lot of lengths to keep his younger sister happy and content.
Unfortunately, the conditions of them being lower-middle class weighed on them and Bennett began looking toward more... questionable means of making money. Namely gambling. While not a gambling addict and surprisingly capable with his money, Bennett's preference of the risky behavior to earn questionable income led to a growing chasm between him and his younger sister. While he often won quite a fair bit, he also ended up in trouble because of it with her having to bail him out. This escalated to where after Bennett moved out of the house to keep his bookies or sore losers from coming after him, it forced Betty to step up and drop out of school to help her ailing mother with the bills.
Fortunately, JJJ Jr, who had grown clsoe to the family, offered Betty her mother's old job while working to get her the proper medical care and assistance. Betty eventually taught herself everything she needed to know for the secretarial work needed in her new life. However, her life would change when she would meet the newest member of the Daily Bugle, a young freelance photographer named Peter Parker. When asled why someone young like him, who was still in school no less, would be willing to take on a strange job like this. Peter confided in wanting to help provide for his aunt with his uncle's death, a notion that striked a chord with the young lady. She also began noticing some costumed stranger doing good in the city.
Trivia Notes: She is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies though she also becomes a fan of the Mets. She would get her GED a few months after Peter joined the Daily Bugle, as he helped her study while her expenses were covered by JJJ Jr. The latter even encouraged her to go to college when she had the money. After John Jonah Jameson, the staff member she spends the most time with is surprisingly Peter Parker, possibly tied to them being the closest of age out of everyone within the Daily Bugle. She also is the most computer-savvy team member of the Daily Bugle, which she attributes to her experience in administration. She later confesses this was because she noted Peter was reading a magazine on computers while waiting for Jameson and sought him out for assistance. While her time within the Daily Bugle is out of prior experience and her mother, she does confess that she has a legitimate interest with reporting. Betty also visits her former hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at least once a year for nostalgia and has considered moving back there when getting her life back together. Betty also is surprisingly knowledgable in several card games, likely due to having observed her own brother practice back in their younger years.
- #86160 Civilian Subject: Robbie Robertson (1995)
Keys: 6160 Civilian Subject: Robbie Robertson (1995)
Name: Joseph "Robbie" Robertson Date of Birth: August 1, 1950 Current Age: 45 (1950) Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Black (Graying) Height: 6'1" Gender: Male Orientation: Heterosexual Species: Human (baseline) Occupation: Editor-in-Chief Martial Status: Married Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Location: Manhatten, New York City Known Familial Relationships: Samuel Robertson (father), Alice Robertson (mother), Martha Robertson (wife), Patrick Robertson (son)*, Randolph "Randy" Robertson (son), Affiliations: Daily Bugle (editor-in-chief), prior occupations: US Army private, journalist Professional Relationships: John Jonah Jameson Jr (senior partner; chief editor/publisher), Elizabeth "Betty" Brant (employee; secretary), Benjamin Urich (employee; senior investigative journalist), Peter Benjamin Parker (independent contractor; photographer) Nationality: American (New Yorker, Pennsylvanian) *= deceased
Personality: Cool, calm and level-headed, Joseph "Robbie" Robertson is a reliable and steadfast figure, especially when it comes to intervening with his hot-headed best friend. Much of Robbie's steadfast nature comes from overcoming the adversity in his past as a young Afro-American in his early years. He has a great deal of respect toward truth and responsability and tried to adhere to those beliefs without letting himself be blinded by anger and rage, namely as he had indirectly been a victim of the rage and anger of people who have been slighted. He tries to impart this cool-headed approach to things with the people close to him, such as his best friend, J. Jonah Jameson, his son Randy Robertson and even the new kid over in his employ, Peter Parker. He has a great deal of respect for honest work and for the working class, traits his more brash son inherited and took further than his father.
At the same time, Robbie is not without his faults. He is quite secretative about his past outside of hints of bullying along with rumors of a criminal background. Additionally, he can be a bit overprotective of his son and his younger colleagues though this was likely the result of his loss of his first child. And while he usually serves as the calm foil to JJJ, he can be just as harsh and short-tempered if extensively stressed enough though not many know what could stress him enough to lash out. Ultimately though, Robbie Robertson is a dependable and reliable man who helps keep the Daily Bugle running smoothly and hopes to leave a postive impact on the world.
History: Joseph "Robbie" Robertson was born on August 1, 1950 to Samuel and Alice Robertson in the neighborhood of Harlem in Manhatten, New York. Robbie grew up in a rough part of the neighborhood and sought to improve his lot in life through study and determination. At the same time, the prejudice he faced as a young black boy was a daily struggle to those endeavors. However, no other encounter in his childhood was more defining than his meeting with Lonnie. Mocked for his albinism, Lonnie became a ruthless punk who was able to intimidate even the teenagers of the neighborhood yet Robbie was the only one who never mocked him for his condition, inheriting his parents' kindness. He was repaid for his kindness by becoming Lonnie's "best friend." However, this friendship was an unhealthy one, consisting of Lonnie coercing Robbie into assisting him with schemes or assisting with classwork. At the same time, Lonnie genuinely considered himself Robbie's friend and maintained a twisted sense of loyalty to his only friend, even if the friendship was one based on fear and extortion. Despite this, Robbie was not above Lonnie's influence, seen as Robbie would get into street cases and escaped the police, earning him the nickname of "Rocket Robbie" from Lonnie, a reference to his speed. Ultimately though, the two went their seperate ways as Lonnie's crimes would be outed on the local paper and anonymously submitted by Robbie. The two parted ways over after graduation, with Robbie hoping never to see Lonnie again.
Despite Robbie having succeeded well in school, the prejudice of the time along with his record meant there were not many options and so instead he went and enlisted in the military and would end up fighting in the Vietnam War for a few years. His experiences there had changed him. Witnessing first hand the horror, he would also develop his instincts in reporting and following in the footsteps of catching the truth, reported many of his fellow privates for troublesome behavior and breaking the code of conduct. While he had some successes, the overall nature of Vietnam had shaken him up. However, his big success was in meeting a war correspondent who assisted him, J Jonah Jameson. The latter found a kindred spirit and hoped to meet him once more after the war. Returnin to the war, Robbie managed to use the GI Bill to go over and study in Philedelphia at the university to earn his bachelor's degree in journalism. He hoped to recover from his truama though he would meet an old face. Lonnie. He witnessed the Afro-albino, all grown up and more menacing than ever proceed to murder an aquiantance of his. Truama prevented Robbie from reporting the incident and he was afraid Lonnie would come after him and kill him and his loved ones. For during his time, Robbie had met a new woman named Martha and the two would end up married after college. However, the young Patrick would end up dying only at six months old, leaving the new parents depressed and in a state of turmoil. Around this time though, Robbie would get some more troubling news, regarding the illness of his parents. As such, he moved he and his wife back home and to take care of his sick parents. He would be assisted by J Jonah Jameson, who offered him a promising job with good pay to help assist in his parents' last days. The two built a powerful friendship as they supported the other and Robbie would manage to have a second son in the birth of Randolph Robertson. It would not be long before he climbed up the ranks due to his integrity and skill and he was doing his best to maintain the life he had while hoping to steer his son from his mistakes while admiring his own determined spirit. However, he did feel a surprising comfort at the growing news of gangmembers and mobsters being gifted to the police by the new vigilante, Spider-Man while also meeting a new young face at the Bugle...
Trivia Notes: Robbie has not informed anyone but his wife and J Jonah about his past with Lonnie. The former was compassionate and understanding while JJJ was grateful his friend trusted him to tell him such a thing. However, he has not yet told anyone about the murders committed by his former friend, the "Horror of Harlem." Whenever J Jonah Jameson needs to take a leave of absence, either to spend time with his son or grieving of his wife, Robbie often took charge of the place. He is considered to be preferable in terms of personality and day-to-day affairs, but they note that JJJ was a more intimidating figure in certain aspects of his job. Robbie considered Martin Luther King Jr an inspiration and thus influenced his more nonconfrontational path. He would pay tribute to his grave before returning over to Manhatten. Robbie smokes like his best friend does, but ends up using a pipe. According to Robbie, it was inherited from his father, who was willed it by a former employer of his when he was a boy. Robbie usually only smokes to accompany JJJ. His pipe is a billiard pipe. He also shows a strong case of civil rights and protection for all peoples, something also his son inherited though he was once asked how he would act if his son married a white woman. He was a bit offput by the question, wondering why someone would ask that. Unlie JJJ, he has a nuanced and respectful view of Spider-Man, seeing him as someone trying to do the right thing, especially since the law is not perfect and can often be corrupt. Many note he is likely speaking from experience regarding this. Robbie tends to be the one to keep JJJ from flipping his lid when things go awry, such as with Peter Parker and his pictures or whenever something else within the Bugle goes awry. Peter himself has noted that Robbie tends to know more than he lets on.
