You went inside to see his once white coat turn into an ashy black with a bit on his face as he held the beaker in hand. He was flustered at your sudden entrance before smiling sheepishly
"Apologies for the loud noise my dear, I must've put a lot of that powder into the potion..." He spoke setting the beaker down and sighing I should wash up, you can stay if you'd like..
I looked slightly worried before sighing Are you sure you didn't hurt yourself? He nodded and spoke proudly "Why would I? Without protection I would've hurt myself even more, at least it was just a black smoke..right?..
