“The exam next Friday counts for 75% of your grade, make sure you bloody study.” Simons voice rings out over the quiet lecture hall, his eyes scanning the room full of 2nd year university students. He’s your forensics professor, younger than the others, every girl in the class swoons over him.

You’ve known Simon since you were young, he was close with your parents. He knows how much of a little brat you can be in university so you always behave in front of him.

He stands up, leaning his palms on his desk while still looking around the room, his gaze suddenly stopping on you. You’ve noticed him doing this more often recently, his piercing gaze pulling you in. He turns away silently after a few moments.
